Yeah, I'm sort of lost on this, not sure what's in-character and not. Not even sure who's a Villain and who's not! *flails* Taco Tuesday in The Lego Movie was, of course, the unleashing of the TAKOS (the S is silent). Anyone have a silent letter in their name? It was also declared Freedom Friday (but still on a Tuesday) if that's anything. Yes, I have watched this movie about a zillion times already. Ahem.

I'm here, but nothing jumped out at me as being particularly clue-ish. And I'm a Hero, or whatever we're calling the majority (a.k.a. not the informed minority, usually referred to as Villains, lol). Will re-read tonight, but I'm usually ok with no DL on Day 1.

Eh, no worries @SVNBob. Those from the TWoP days will remember I've run Mafia games that went pretty terribly myself.... But yeah, with the VI it's basically about finding someone who started a Wolf that isn't any more. To some extent everyone should be a bit cagey, because they may end up being changed INTO a Wolf and so SHOULDN'T want to help. (Unlike dear @Lisin who changed from Wolf to more different Wolf, lol.) I agree with @MarkHB's thought that maybe shifting himself would make it more interesting, or if he didn't KNOW which direction he shifted it. Because then we'd have two scenarios to consider...of course that would be forcing us all to do the collective painful brain exercise... Oh yeah, which way does the Witch transform someone? Another forcible swap or a copy/paste of the role? (A.k.a. was Mark the VI or a magical third Mason?) By the way, most of my explanation of what I thought about roles was paraphrasing Bob from our PM. I just didn't want to quote it so y'all would see it as "in-game" thoughts rather than OOC. I thought this round was great! I'm always interested to see new roles too!

No, I swapped Mark with HM, so HM was the Drunk and Mark was the (Robbed) Apprentice Seer before the shift. Updated to what I think is right: Bodyguard - The Crazed Spruce Mason - MMCS VI/Mason - MarkHB Apprentice Seer - Drogo Vanilla Villager - aquarian1 Robber - CP Wolf* - Lisin Dreamwolf* - SilverStormm Hunter - Egavasc Seer - Deadpool Tanner - Oinky B. Mason - Jesse Witch - HM Drunk - TJ Troublemaker - Ser Jorah Unclaimed: (Minion and Insomniac in some order), Wolf* I have Mark as unknown because it depends on what the Witch does. Does she swap a role with an unclaimed one, or essentially "copy" the unclaimed role and "paste" it over the role of the cursee? Cause that could create a magical third mason (if it's copy/paste), or Mark is the VI (if it's swap). So @The Crazed Spruce, careful of who you vote for! ETA I tried to put the unclaimed in order. Seers confirm?

I way I understand it, roles and people are almost separate. You start out as a role, you submit your action for the list as that role. And then everything starts going, so you may not be that role when that action takes place. But they still all occur and always in that order. We currently don't have a way to keep any actions from happening, we could only have ways to have made them ineffective (Troublemaker swapping a Robber and his victim back, or if we had a Doppleganger who doppled a Troublemaker or Village Idiot and choose poorly). I was going to try to go through the thought exercise of why Jesse might lie, and what to do if there was no shift or a shift the other way. I think no matter what, we're on the right track with Lisin. But I also don't think Jesse would know any better than to tell the truth (wouldn't know they were evil if they did get switched to Minion/Tanner by the Witch). And that exercise made my head hurt.

Seems like I'm still Team Village, so I'll share fully: I reciprocated Mark's action last game by swapping him and HM. This also gave me the benefit of hopefully knowing who I was if the VI rotated down, which seems to be the case! So now I'll go get a drink ;) And provide my notes on who everyone should be now: The Crazed Spruce - Ser Jorah's old role (after VI shift down) MMCS – Mason (after VI shift down) MarkHB – Wolf* (after VI shift down but was originally Drunk so is now a formerly unclaimed role??) The one in the Unclaimed role lists the 5 possibilities. So in summary: -I'm still unclear whether the Robber just copies the role or forcibly swaps them. Hence why CP is unknown. -SS may in fact have gotten screwed, as being on Team Village and switched to a Wolf without her knowing. - @Deadpool and @Ser Jorah Mormont should tell us who they were, as they're Team Village now regardless. -A few of those have notes assuming OB was the Witch who cursed Jesse, which I feel was being hinted at. Confirm? (Deadpool informing us would shine light on which team OB is on now, and thus the truth-worthiness of the confirmation.) -Mark's vote would either be based on the Hunter or Bodyguard (or Tanner), if in fact the Drunk can swap his role even if he became a Wolf through other means first. -I think this all means Lisin is exactly who we should vote for. Edited because the Tanner could have been the last unclaimed role, and I tried to account for that.

I believe I responded to that specifically. And left what I think is a pretty strong hint as to who I am. Well, was. Oh I think I have an idea of who you are, or rather, whose role you'd have. Along with a few other people (including....myself????). Rather than edit my last post, I'll say that this is why I asked who you were previously, Markbro. For Witch or not, Village Idiot acting or not, you are not that any more.

Well, I suppose if the Witch changed the Village Idiot, they wouldn't be able to move everyone, so that's another way we might not have to worry about it. She seems to be another role that should probably share. And lest you think I'm making a claim: (Oh wait, wrong game.) I may have been witch-LIKE, since I had a cauldron and I was chanting "Bubble, bubble, toil" and...something. I would like to know a bit more about what the Village Idiot did...and maybe a bit more about the original role of @MarkHB. Just asking since he's my Mark-bro, you know, no other reason...

I think the Tanner introduces a nice wrinkle anyway, that was missing in the game without him: how can you trust that you're not doing exactly what he wants? So that works for me. When does the game start?

If y'all were wondering what my clue was referencing... Though let's be real, I was really referencing the Once Upon A Time episode of the same name. It features Sheriff Graham/The Huntsman, one of my faves. IRL, my Pathfinder character is a Ranger (with a wolf companion) whose parents were killed when he was young and he was therefore raised by wolves. I named him Joseph Graham in the sheriff's honor. (His wolf's name is Luna.)
