  1. Oldies, classic rock, close enough ;) I was going for something that you guys might think Emma chose (Storybrooke listens to a LOT of old stuff in my headcanon), but was actually chosen by Giles. Also, if you want some prep on the singing voices of the OUAT crew, here's a playlist: ( If it's not working, try just the link: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3DtEh0zkMKQOz_wlnumJKCrlEzSjfuVn ) What do you think, @Spaceman Spiff, want to play? I could use more people if y'all want to recruit! :)
  2. Hi y'all! Just popping in to say that I still have Revenge Is Gonna Be Mine stuck in my head. And to say that if you like the social game Mafia (sometimes played with cards), we have a thread to play it online here at PTV: http://forums.previously.tv/topic/6684-ptv-mafia/ I'm starting up a Magical Musical Mafia round based on OUAT Season 6 and Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Hope to see you there!
  3. Well, since it is just a Prologue, we can open signups with this... Magical Musical Mafia! Prologue: It's A Nice Day To Start Again Somewhere in Maine The sedan cruised up the highway, Billy Idol playing from the oldies radio station. The blonde in the passenger seat was staring idly out the window. All of the events that she had been through weighed heavily on her mind. And here she was, out to save the world again. She finally snapped out of it when her friend piped up from the back seat. “Buffy?” The elder Summers turned back to regard Xander. “What is it Xander?” “Don’t worry too much,” the boy said quietly. “We’ll all be okay. We’re not gonna have another Spike…” “Or Anya” chimed in Dawn from his right. Xander’s remaining eye twitched in pain and regret. Immediately realizing she shouldn’t have said that, Dawn bowed her head and muttered “Sorry.” Heaving a sigh, Buffy said “I know. We just need to be prepared for anything. There’s no telling why this new Hellmouth opened.” “And there’s a strong magical presence there,” added Willow, who was tracing shapes in the air with fire generated from her fingertips. A stern British voice admonished her from the driver’s seat. “Is that necessary, Willow?” Giles asked in a hard voice. Willow clenched her first, extinguishing the flames. She went to protest, but upon seeing the look in Giles’ eye, she thought better of it. He’d already had to beat her magically once for abusing spells. For now he just said “We’re almost there anyway.” Buffy squinted hard up the road. “I don’t see anything though…” The town should have been right there, the town mysteriously called- Storybrooke, Maine Snow White, Prince Charming, Mr. Gold, Belle French, Emma Swan, Captain Hook, Regina Mills, and Zelena all met in the woods outside of town. “Anything?” asked Emma anxiously. Everyone shook their heads. “She’s probably holed up somewhere, protected magically,” seethed Mr. Gold. His fist quivering at his side, the former Rumpelstiltskin revealed a little bit of that famous rage. Belle put her arm reassuringly on her husband’s. “We’ll find The Black Fairy,” she said, her voice full of hope, “and our son.” “Gideon is just as formidable magically as her,” Gold responded, “so we’ll have to have our wits about us.” He looked over the assembled crowd. “Are you all prepared to do what needs to be done?” One by one, each person nodded their agreement. Snow, Charming, and Emma all had worried looks on their faces when they did. Hook had a cool look that immediately became more sympathetic when Emma glared at him. Regina was somewhere in the middle, while her half-sister Zelena seemed almost eager. It wasn’t surprising that the former Wicked Witch of the West was the least concerned with taking life. In fact, she was about to say something about looking forward to it when Regina suddenly lashed her hand out, steadying herself on Zelena. The witch said “Woah, sis. What is it?” Regina’s eyes narrowed as she silently worked some magic. “The barrier around the town...she’s doing something to it.” The Charmings once again looked worriedly at each other. Just what they needed, another something wicked coming this way. At the town line The 5 Scoobies stood on the desolate road. “It should be right there,” repeated Giles. Xander and Dawn said nothing. There clearly was no town there, but they didn’t need to point that out. Buffy turned to Willow, who was already muttering in Latin under her breath. A blackness filled her eyes. Wary, Buffy took a step back at the same time that Giles took a step forward. He went into his stern voice again as he said “Willow-” Suddenly, the air seemed to ripple before them. As if a curtain was being lifted, new sights were coming into view. There WAS a town off in the distance now. Gritting her teeth, Willow said “Back in the car. I can’t hold it long.” Everyone did as she said, quickly piling back in. The car lurched forward across the town line. Once they were inside, Willow dropped the entryway with a pained gasp. “That was strong” she commented, putting her head into her hand. Dawn rubbed her back as the others looked ahead to wonder what awaited them here… *** Depending on how many people sign up, I might bring in some more musical shows. But we needed a little blonde ambition... :D
  4. Well I do have the prologue all ready, whenever this game ends, @SVNBob....
  5. Oh, I thought it was if any Wolf died it was a Villager win...well I dunno then, I think A1 is still the best bet.
  6. Do we have some kind of deadline, @SVNBob? In case, you know, someone wanted to switch right before it to make it 3 even votes?
  7. 4 Aquarian1 (MarkHB, MMCS, caprice, Lisin) 2 TCS (Drogo, TJ)
  8. I agree with Mark. But yes, if we needed to, we could split the vote between both suspected Wolves. Easy enough.
  9. I happen to think I'm both, seeing as I paranormally investigated 2 people and didn't hit a Wolf either time. :) Also that was why I wanted MuuMuu to say quickly who the Wolves were, lest they try to claim Troublemaker/Drunk/something else and hide one another or make us second-guess.
  10. So updating the list... aquarian1 - Originally Wolf (MuuMuu claiming) Lisin - Originally Prince (Lisin claiming) Spruce - Originally Wolf (MuuMuu claiming) Mark - Originally Seer (Mark claiming) saorise - Originally Robber (TJ claiming), Now Minion (Revealed by mod) Drogo - Hunter (Drogo claiming) MuuMuu - Originally Minion (MuuMuu claiming), Now Robber most likely TJ - Originally Paranormal Investigator (TJ claiming) caprice - Originally Revealer (TJ claiming) Unclaimed - Drunk, Insomniac (Mark claiming), Troublemaker in some order Therefore I believe, yes, we should vote for a1 or Spruce. I'd lean to a1 since we always vote Spruce on Day 2 in Mafia XD 2 AQUARIAN1 (MarkHB, TJtrack99) Interesting round, with 2/3 switching roles not in use. I was also trying to do a thought exercise if MuuMuu was lying about the Wolves, but couldn't come up with a reason or anything. I'm also trying to figure out if there was a way to have literally no Wolves to vote on. Oh, and I nearly have the prologue finished for my next round. I'm excited!
  11. I got you, boo. In fact I've got 2 out of those 3. Meat Loaf would be proud. aquarian1 - Originally Wolf (MuuMuu claiming) Lisin - Originally Prince (Lisin claiming) Spruce - Originally Wolf (MuuMuu claiming) Mark saorise - Originally Robber (TJ claiming), Now Minion (Revealed by mod) Drogo - Hunter (Drogo claiming) MuuMuu - Originally Minion (MuuMuu claiming), Now ? TJ - Originally Paranormal Investigator (TJ claiming) caprice - Originally Revealer (TJ claiming)
  12. Thanks. So, any Troublemakers want to claim anything?
  13. Hmmm. @MuuMuuChainsmoker, would you share on the OG Wolves then?
  14. How sure? Do you know if someone switched her? Did she switch herself? We need to start sharing some info. In the event that saorise didn't start as the Minion, it means someone else might have been that is now a Villager, which would make this very easy. Let's just say I had some investigative info, which I will share more on if I can verify I'm a Villager.
  15. Interesting. You don't believe she was always the Minion?
  16. Oh yes, we should surely listen closely to what she has to say! XD
  17. Well then. Would people like to start sharing? I know a thing or two.
  18. Oh by all means, you can run it! I'll plan something, not totally sure what yet... ETA I'd love to take part in OneNight too!
  19. Soooo....another OneNight game? And/or perhaps I'll start thinking on a new round...The fact that Once Upon A Time is doing a musical episode is giving me thoughts....
  20. Oh, sorry, I thought we had gotten a list of all the actions that were done. Yes, I investigated SJM, as I was being truthful when I said I was unsure on SS's alignment since she's always a bit more aggressive. Something rang villainous in SJM's trying to clue to me on Day 1.
  21. In one episode, Emerson Cod is referred to as "named for a poet and a fish." I mentioned 'waxing poetic' once. And the next Day, y'all were gonna get buried in fish references. School, Hook, Line (maybe add in Sinker!)...good times. Also I just kept mentioning 'hypothetically' what the Heroic Investigator might do. ("I'm sure they wouldn't investigate you, SS!") I amuse myself, at least.
  22. Funnily enough, I was debating on actually investigating SS on Night 2, as I was willing to give her a pass for the first Night, but she just kept coming off as villainous. I was debating between that or one of the less-talking people, saoirse or Lisin. So, I had 2/3 chance of being right. Also, glad to see Drogo was all for trusting me...even if I did threaten him this one time. (I'm sensitive about my weight, sheesh!) Anyone catch any of my identity clues?
  23. I do know for certain that SJM was a Villain. ETA I never expressed my sympathy for @egavasc. Hope things get better, darling.
  24. There you go, working your charms on me again. (Since we met at work, my lady friend and I often compare ourselves to Jim and Pam. It helps that I'm tall and goofy and she's short and cute :) )
  25. I get it. Different playstyles. You're bold and brash, I try to be more subtle. Often to my detriment. I guess I also assume that other players will pursue it when people make odd word or phrasing choices to figure out why. I try to. Having the Heroic Investigator outed early puts more pressure on the Heroes, as the Protector might not be able to protect them several times in a row (often a rule I put in), and it makes it easier for the Villains to find the Protector, and so on. So in this case, no, I don't think the bold nature of SJM's claim makes it more believable. To the contrary.
