But that interview with Jenn puts me right back to being perpetually annoyed with Meri. I absolutely hate how those two do the 12 year old giggle fit over inside jokes like they are so desperate to be the coolest 7th graders around.
This is exactly why I have only ever been able to make it through about 2 minutes maximum of any FWF. It just always smacks so hard of "we are having TOO MUCH FUN and all you outside losers can join, but you're never going to understand HOW MUCH FUN we are having! Don't hate us 'cause you ain't us!" It comes across as both trying way too hard and being deliberately exclusionary to the few well-meaning but potentially lonely souls who want to be included. I don't like that.
And I agree with the OG3 keeping Kody and Robyn out of their posts and videos. Between this one and the "beer and Skittles" IG post that came from Christine....just please stop. How can these men go along with dissing their wife's/girlfriend's ex on a public platform? Yes, Kody sucks and everyone knows it but I think it's pretty clear that he's a tad unhinged, and he does have young kids at home with him in the mansion. Taunting him is reckless, IMO.

Why is he always taking his frustrations out on those poor trees?
Either because Coyote Pass represents all of his crushed dreams of building a compound and having all of his children travel to gather 'round his knee and gaze up adoringly at him, or because all of those children, along with their mothers, have abandoned him and all he has left are the trees, mocking him.
But seriously, he needs to just hit a gym and leave the trees alone.

I was pleasantly surprised to see this on my IG feed this morning. Hope Amos can handle the complicated woman that is Meri Brown, lol. But good for her. I think he looks a little bit like Tim McGraw.
I hope Kody is storming around Coyote Pass with his visor and gloves shoved firmly into place, raging that his discarded women all seem to be flourishing without him rather than sitting around, sad and lonely, pining for his manly abs and firm gluteus maximus.
Congrats, Robyn! He is well and truly all yours! You win! Hahahahahaha!

I wonder how Jeremy and Austin get along? Does Austin like fountain pens and expensive cheeseburgers, I wonder?

This is what a close, happy, cohesive family looks like. Notice that you are not in this picture.
Also, these are many of the people whose lives you're missing out on because you suck. Look, it includes your man-crush! That has to hurt.
Good job, dorkwaffle. Your loss. Go buy another piece of horse jewelry to fill the gaping void where your soul should be. Make sure Robyn has one to match.
Did I mention you suck?
Sincerely, This Thread.

Kody said he was concerned for how David would treat his kids. Yeah, whatever, Kody. Kody probably cant even name his and Christine's children.
Why do you care, Kody - do you want to be the only person to treat your non-Crybrows kids like crap? Go worry about something else, like making sure the wife has enough eyebrow Sharpies to last her the week. Your kids are going to be fine, despite your very best efforts.
That reminds me, during the ceremony the officiant was talking about Christine and used Ysabel as an example of Christine's love, but I didn't catch what he was talking about? I assume it had to do with her surgery. If so, I hope that feels like an actual knife in the kidney to Kody when he watches the episode. But also, if that's what it was about, it probably didn't feel too good to Ysabel to have to be reminded in front of everyone that her dad's idea of comforting her through surgery was to hand her one of his smelly hoodies to wear while he stayed home with his Tenders.

Samuel has stated over and over he is shy. Besides being poorly educated, I believe he is extremely uncomfortable being up front preaching.
It's too bad that her children's personalities don't factor in at all when she is shoving them in front of groups of strangers to literally sing for their supper.

But Samuel really just seemed to be sitting there spinning a pencil and listening to Gabe play banjo until mama showed up with the phone.
I wonder if even Jill knows that she's not going to be able to pass Sam off as a preacher so she's just given up on him, because what else can he do except run tracts through the big rusty stapling machine?
Not saying Sam is dumb, he just hasn't been given a chance.

I was going to suggest that Kaylee have someone proof her posts before she hits the "send" button, but then I realize that, being the oldest, she probably received the "best" education in the family. And her "teacher" can not help her out. And she is going to teach her children. This hurts my heart.
Right, the great-Rodlets have no hope at all unless they somehow educate themselves or someone outside the family steps in (which, having to battle Hurricane Jill, is unlikely). I feel like most of them are going to be functionally illiterate. At least in the Duggar-verse, some of the Duggars by marriage have stepped in to make sure their kids are getting a better education than their Duggar parent, so their futures look a little brighter. The Rods are so insular, I don't see how those kids are ever going to get further than their parents.
Most parents want their kids to be better/smarter than themselves. It's troubling and sad when parents like the Rods actually want their kids to stay uneducated as a means to better control them.

That's too bad that KayJon had to be "apart" from her "teams" Super Saturday event. 🙄
Geez, how many grammatical errors can one person fit into one sentence?
I just wish Heidi's mom had shown up wearing jeans.

I have seen Leon in photos so I know they were there, and I think I spotted Logan in a white shirt during the reception. I didn't spot Garrison but I think I saw him in pictures, too. It could be that those three simply don't want to be filmed at all anymore, so they were edited out of the show.
It makes me think that we won't see Logan's wedding at all on SW. If not, good for him, bummer for us. :)

So Kody treats Robyn like a....pole....when he dances with her. Can't say I'm surprised. After all, it's all about Kody on the dance floor so I can completely believe that he uses Robyn as his prop.
Other observations:
First of all, I'm not crying, I have...allergies. *sniff*
I appreciated that they ran the ceremony without any intercuts from Mophead and Crybrows. Look, some of us (not naming names) have been with this family since Day One, so I liked that they seemed to be including the viewing audience as part of the actual audience. Call me emotional (still not crying though), but it was nice.
Loved all the girls zipping Christine into her dress, Paedon walking his mom down the aisle and then her dad taking the last few feet. Truely bringing the rings, rocking her purple hair and dress and then hugging her mom and giving her words of wisdom beyond her years, hugging David, and then - in the most baby Truely way - kind of sashaying off the stage, not in an attention-ho Kody way, but Truely being authentic. We all remember that little bald-headed baby girl pirouetting in the middle of every family gathering, it's nice to see she still retains her spirit despite being the most ignored child of Kody Brown.
David shaking Christine's dad's hand on the way back up the aisle was classy.
The reception looked amazing. Loved that all the kids were genuinely happy for Christine and David, and - of note - none of them dissed their dad in order to be happy for their mom/bonus mom. Their class outshines Kody's like the sun outshines a black hole.
I rolled my eyes initially at sitting through two episodes of this wedding, but it turns out, I kinda loved it. Still not cry -- oh, crap. Yes, I was. A little.

That bathroom is a nightmare! How do her children manage to clean it to Jill's satisfaction with all of that crap everywhere?
Just think of the layers of hairspray they have to scrub off from every single plastic petal on all those stupid fake flowers....

Jill says that one of their uses for the bathroom chair is to sit and take a breath. The last place on earth where I want to take a breath is in a bathroom that Dave uses.Honestly! Even if it was Jill's personal and private bathroom, placing a "reading nook" 2 feet away from a toilet is - well, I guess it's Jill. I hope none of her children have a potty emergency while she's reclining in her yellow chair "taking a breath."

Renee’s hair doesn’t look that bad to me?
In that still shot from the video, it looks fine. When Jill pans around the back of Renee, it looks like it's been chopped with a dull knife and ratted until it's hopelessly frizzed. It's quite sad.

The open only shows one ring falling off. Ummmm I think another 1 or 2 rings needs to drop off that at this point.
With regards to Christine's personality, she was brought into the family as the "bubbly one." Then Kody spent the next 25-ish years suppressing that personality into one of misery. I cannot imagine what it was like to have to constantly monitor your words and emotions depending on if your husband loved you, liked you, tolerated you or downright despised you, depending on which way the wind was blowing his weave that day. I also think I could only handle Christine in smallish doses, but I'm fine with her finally being able to be herself for the first time in probably ever.
As for the rings dropping off the title sequence, I would like to see a slow-motion opener of each of the three rings falling off and exploding into pieces, with the sounds of each of the OG3 laughing in the background. That would be cool. :)

Does Mahmo's book learnin' cut off as each female Rodlet reaches college age, and then they become "teacher?"
Those poor younger girls aren't going to know how to read, write or handle anything beyond simple addition/subtraction, if that.

A little late to post but Gideon turned 6 months old, January 5th. 🥰💕💕
Gideon loves to, eat, smile, laugh and has a VERY tender heart, like His Daddy.
He gets teary eyed, with the CUTEST frown, over the smallest things.
Oh, how we love him and thankful for God's gift to us. 💖I don't even want to think about what those "small things" are that cause a six-month old to get teary-eyed.
I stupidly watched a small portion of the home-schooling video and thought the same thing - how the **** is anyone able to concentrate with someone playing banjo in the next room?

I did tear up during the last episode where Annie was talking about how she made Christine's dress but couldn't be at her wedding to Kody because she'd left the faith. She could barely get her words out, she was so emotional. And even though Christine's dad is/was the polygamist whom Annie left, even he seemed very emotional about Christine finally being happy, and understanding that Kody treated her like crap. Maybe as he got older, he started understanding the pain he'd caused, I don't know. But they both seemed very supportive of Christine.
Which makes me wonder....if Christine was descended from two very powerful and deadly plyg families, one might think that the wuss man-child that is Kody Brown might have wanted to treat Christine a little bit better? I'd be freaking terrified to marry into those families, no matter how far removed, and I sure would be careful how I treated this particular "plyg princess." There's no way he didn't know her family's murderous history.

Can anyone recommend their favorite brand of scented candles? I am looking for candles with good throw interested in rain, petrichor, ocean, aloe or other fresh scents. Thanks!
Just saw this - I am a scented candle semi-hoarder, lol.
Yankee Candle is a good standby, but I have had much success with candles from Aldi as well as Goose Creek. I ordered one from Goose Creek called "First Autumn Frost" and could smell it throughout my entire house, even to the second floor.

Long story short: Christine is an Allred and a LeBaron (Annie, Christine's mom, was a niece of Ervil. So Annie's uncle had her father-in-law murdered, when Christine was just a little girl.)
Good to know! Any wonder why Annie GTFO of that situation? The interfamily murders in order to gain control were horrible.

The weight loss challenge starts tomorrow. Perhaps she did the Plexus reset, but instead of saying that, she called it fasting? 🤷🏼♀️ Seems backwards either way.
If Plexus is such a cure-all, it boggles my mind why these people have to constantly go on fasts and re-sets. What are they re-setting from, if they are faithfully chugging Plexus? It makes no sense.
Jill's newsletter was an interesting read. Especially the part where she spelled her own last name wrong.

Me too!!!! Wasn't that fucking wild?? Anna, daughter of Ervil, looked like Christine to me but I don't think they are related.
Right, and I sat there thinking, oh - I see where Christine's kids get their height, because Ervil was so tall, but then I remembered - wrong plyg family, lol. Christine's dad is Rex, who was one of the sons of Rulon Allred, who was killed by Ervil LeBaron's cult. It is so messed up. What those people lived through was terrifying. I give all of them props for being able to talk about it.
If you want more, FYI - there is a podcast called Deliver Us From Ervil.

The Duggalos: Jinger and the Holy Goalie
in Counting On
It's a good thing Jeremy has lots of connections in the world of hamburgers and fancy shoes, because he may need that to secure an honest living someday flipping those burgers or selling those shoes. He can't grift forever under the guise of "student," but I have to say, he's done pretty darn good so far. If he ever pairs up with JillRod, there's no telling how far they could go.
