  1. The debt was the biggest mystery to me that the show didn't address. Was he on drugs? Did he suddenly lose a job and couldn't get another one? Why was he all of a sudden stealing from his friends. To me drugs is the most likely reason that he would steal and murder for a couple hundred dollars. I felt the parents were definitely delusional.
  2. I saw it and was very intrigued by it. At first the sister and daughter protrayed a very loving sister and mother. After meeting the pathological liar brother, learning about the psychological profile of Patricia, and hearing her interview - clearly that family is very, very dysfunctional. As the show went on, the sister seemed a little off too. I genuinely feel for the daughter though. I think the liver cancer story was made up after she was arrested. Clearly it wasn't mentioned in the autopsy and over 10 years after his death, I'm sure there were no medical records and she seemed to easily influence her family. Definitely a weird case.
  3. I believe he was prosecuted (in federal court) for overall abuses but acquitted, which makes it worse. I looked it up mid show and when I saw he was acquitted, I couldn't watch the rest. Just so depressing.
  4. Wow- what a crazy story. It will interesting to hear about what motivated the shooter and how he picked his victims.
  5. I haven't been paying that a much attention to the recent shows because I thought there was no way he was going to be caught after all this time. I was SHOCKED at the headlines. I feel that McNamara helped from above. I saw a interview with a neighbor who said that DeAngelo raised his 3 daughters by himself. That chilled me to the bone to think what they probably went through.
  6. I was so shocked when I read the headlines about AM's involvement in this cult. I was a big fan back in the days of TWOP and used to read her blog on her website. I remember her writing about trying to find her place in the industry and how it was working with someone as beautiful as Kristin Kreuk. To go from that to cult Co conspirator is wild. Another thing that struck out at me was how Keith was able to get the Seagram sisters to fund him with $100 million dollars. Just absolutely mind boggling.
  7. I think his good looks also helped in his con game. The LA times article even stated that she had gone on other dates from the website but the guys were not as handsome.
