  1. From Mark's pre-season snap judgements: She's from Seattle, just like my beloved Jinkx, and she seems to share Jinkx's winking, old-Hollywood appreciation for camp and tragedy. Everything she says has giant quotation marks around it, but that's fine by me.
  2. From Mark's pre-season snap judgements: Oh god, y'all. What to make of this one? I remember Adore when she performed on American Idol as Danny Noriega, so I know that she can sing. That kind of talent is a plus. However, she is trying so damn hard to be quirky and cutting that I'm exhausted already. Willam pulls this off effortlessly, whereas Adore never once makes it look easy. However, she's probably desperate enough to make good TV.
  3. From Mark's pre-season snap judgements: Can we really trust anyone whose favorite past contestants are Tyra Sanchez and Lineysha Sparx? (I do agree, though, that a fellow drag queen would be a good guest judge.)
  4. From Mark's pre-season snap judgements: Ms. April is our mandatory representative from Puerto Rico, which is apparently draggiest island in all the world. At the moment, she's making absolutely no impression on me, which is never a good sign. She'll probably hang out in the middle for a few weeks, then disappear before Snatch Game.
  5. From Mark's pre-season snap judgements: You know how your mom has a friend who's perfectly nice but totally forgettable? That's Magnolia Crawford. She seems older than the rest of them, but that hasn't translated to gravitas.
  6. From Mark's pre-season snap judgements: Her drag mother is Alyssa Edwards? That explains the almost-but-not-quite quality of her personality. She can mimic that ironic attitude, but she can't embody it.
  7. From Mark's pre-season snap judgements: Nope. This valley girl shtick has got to go. I mean, I'm glad she knows what Kabuki is, but anyone who's this enthusiastic about Carmen Carrera is not my hit and will never be my hit. (Note: I'm referring to Carmen Carrera the Drag Race contestant, not Carmen Carrera the eventual trans activist. And I'm fairly certain Gia is referring to that earlier incarnation of Carmen as well.)
  8. From Mark's pre-season snap judgements: Zzzzz. Literally everything she says is a cliché. She seems sweet enough, but sweetness isn't compelling without a little hot sauce underneath. (How'd you like THAT metaphor? Eat it, Oscar Wilde!
  9. Do you love Homeland, House of Cards and The Newsroom? Then run, don't walk to _____!
  10. Retta was a joy. Her Clue Boom reaction was priceless.
  11. Martin Short for SURE. He's a fun vampire.
  12. Affordable And Not Busy Heroes isn't catchy.
  13. Same day cinema and home release for everything can't get here soon enough. Not to be all Old Man about it but people don't know how to watch a movie in public these days.
  14. A group of disparate personalities who act like they all have something up their ass work the homicide squad in the bay area.
  15. Patrick is nervous about Richie meeting his friends; Lynn hosts a dinner party to introduce Dom to potential investors; Agustin invites CJ to a birthday picnic.
  16. Hannah is warned that Adam's new career path might cause problems; Jessa gets an unexpected visit; the group celebrates some good news; Marnie is captivated by Adam's new friend.
  17. Maggie reveals Cohle's activities in 2002, when his relationship with Hart fractured and he quit the force.
  18. A number of immediate threats plague Rick; group members deal with their past.
  19. The US season ends with the UK Christmas special. Welcome to 1923.
  20. You post the top three "people who bought this" items from a show's DVD (that's not other items from the same show) and we guess what the vector show was. The person who guesses right posts the next challenge. I'll go first. If you liked Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead and Justified you'll gonna love _____.
