  1. Came across this article with Matt trying to "explain" his arrest record: http://starcasm.net/archives/310117 Hm, not sure what to say about some of it without opening a whole other can of worms, so I'll leave it at that. Then there's this article with a spoiler as to whether or not Briana and Matt are still together: http://starcasm.net/archives/309862 Since this article contains a spoiler like I said, I'll put what I have to say about this article under spoiler tags just to be safe:
  2. Haha, I thought the same exact thing, walnutqueen! Why would you pick a couple of violent criminals? Oh, maybe it's fitting because he already has a rap sheet. :P Speaking of which, I did consider the fact that the DV arrest could've been a result of someone vindictive like Trampolina pointed out. But I just don't buy it. Every red flag they brought up seems to have to do with bars and fighting and, thus, drinking, so the alcoholism as a potential problem rings more and more true (so I'm betting the DV incident was fueled by alcohol, too).
  3. Taylorh2, from the picture I saw of them with the baby (I think it might've been a People magazine article online), I'm pretty sure she is an achon like Terra. Sure looks like an achon.
  4. Nadine reminds me a bit of Tara Reid, the actress from "American Pie." (I just don't know if I should describe her as "the poor man's Tara Reid" or vice versa since Tara can look pretty effed up at times.)
  5. Sorry, but Toi and Rouvan bore me. I think the fact that he is now travelling more has something to do with the fact that they didn't seem to get as much air time, at least in this episode. If his travelling doesn't change anytime soon, I can't see how much they'll be featured because her complaining about how much his town sucks gets really tiring and annoying really fast. And I'm already tired of hearing it. Good luck making friends in your new town, by the way. I'm sure the locals love hearing about boring and unclassy their town is over and over again on national television.
  6. Really? I keep getting a gaydar ping off of her brother. I don't see Sam and Laura lasting forever. At all. Kirk is very much, in fact, "a big man child douche nozzle" (thanks, Mountainair!), but I side with him just a teeny, tiny bit. (Please don't hate me!) Granted, Laura definitely made her bed with him and needs to lie in it big time, but I have a feeling that he's so used to being on his own and doing whatever he wants with his money, that he doesn't feel he needs her approval to buy something. I'm sort of like that in the sense that I'm used to being on my own and independent, especially financially, so if I really want something nice and I can afford it, I buy it. Even though I'm sure I can learn how to be, right now, I feel like I don't know how gung ho I'll be about "asking" a future spouse if I can buy something. However, I only do this rarely and I never buy something I cannot afford. If what Kirk buys does affect them in a majorly negative way financially, then I can understand why Laura would get upset. But I doubt he's putting them anywhere in danger of debt or bankruptcy. Why do couples so often seem to be on different pages about children before they say "I do"? I don't get that. Make sure you're both 100% on the same page beforehand! Kirk clearly has major doubts about having more children and Laura is obviously wanting children with him. Why do some people feel like they can change their spouse's mind about it or somehow slowly convince them? Children isn't something you "compromise" on. If it's something you need to nag and beat your spouse over the head about, then I feel like the one who needed convincing will end up resenting them in the long run. Not to mention, Kirk's sons are already mostly grown, so I can totally see how he'll be making Laura do 99% of the work as a parent if they do have children together. Yeah, good luck with that, butterface.
  7. Now that the women brought up the fact that Matt filed for bankruptcy not too long ago, I am more convinced than ever that he is only dating Briana for two reasons: 1) he's an opportunist, and 2) he does have a fetish for little people. Point #1 is because here Briana is starring in a hit reality show (by Lifetime's standards, at least) probably making decent bank, so of course he's going to see dollar signs and fame. She doesn't seem to have a regular job, so how the hell else would she be able to move her and her daughter into a condo without a steady paycheck. The show, of course. Which brings me to point #2, because I really, really do believe he is the same guy that was dating another little person featured on MTV's "True Life: I'm a Little Person", which I mentioned in another episode thread. Of course, I still can't find anything online to confirm it, but I'm pretty sure it's him at this point. In the "break up" scene at the restaurant, it looked like even though Briana was visibly upset, he only tried to look upset, but could barely squeeze out a tear. I am curious as to what the deal really is between them because up until one or two episodes ago, Matt was still very active on Twitter, especially with Briana. They were even being really lovey dovey with each other. Funny because this was all clearly taking place after they filmed their breakup, so they were at least on good terms. But now all of a sudden, his Twitter account is gone (or inactive). Hmmm.
  8. Tonight's fight was a total shitshow and I actually felt for Elena (if she's really not being prodded into this by the producers, that is). They can't go one get together without an insane blowup, so instead of acting like adults who all agree to disagree and move on by going their separate ways, they all decide to bring the shitshow to a larger audience: New Orleans. Which, I'm sure, will make the assholes on Bourbon Street gawk and laugh at them as "'m-words' gone wild" some more. Thanks, guys. Speaking of the m-word, I hate to say it, but I agree with Christy when she said that it'll never go away like the n-word. Although a small part of me wonders if that'll be the case for as long as little people continue to give it "power" by getting offended by it. I really don't know how to truly eradicate it. Personally, I don't like it or use it, and hate when others use it, but that's because those who use it (who aren't little people) use it negatively.
  9. Yesssss, DanaMB! I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed and it irks the crap out of me. I can't pay attention to anything else but her mouth, especially in her TH's. It's almost like she's got that weird jaw thing going on that crack addicts often have when they speak. Not that I'm saying she's a crackhead or anything, of course.
  10. Yes, I realize that, WickedTuna; I know a little person can have an average height twin. I just meant that sometimes people list friends as siblings on Facebook and/or call someone their "twin" because they look so much alike when neither is the case (and whether this is the case for Lila, who knows. It doesn't matter to me either way, though). I get that Lila could totally be playing up her personality to the cameras as a way to create drama and get herself a solid spot on the NY spinoff, but to me, it comes across as trying way too hard. Annoying. Speaking of Lila, that is, in fact, how her name is spelled. The correct spelling of all of the cast members are Terra, Christy, Tonya, Elena, Briana, and Traci (and Lila, like I said). Just making sure we're all on the same page. :) I agree with those of you who said the constant bickering is getting more than tiresome. Perhaps Christy's shit stirring is also being played up for the cameras to add drama and so that she always feels like she has a solid spot for any future seasons, but if it's not, Jesus... what a pain in the ass she'd be as a "real life" friend! I know "reality television" is pretty much a misnomer these days, but seriously, no group of friends who fight this much would constantly try to hang out together. Forcing this for ratings is ridiculous. Does anyone know what Elena's husband does for work? Unless Lifetime paid for her surgery, I wonder how well off he is. I mean, he didn't even seem to blink when she said she wanted the butt surgery. Obviously that would not be covered by her insurance, so I'd imagine that would have been a pretty penny he forked over and he didn't even think twice about it financially. It seems that Traci doesn't have a whole hell of a lot going on other than the fertility problem storyline, so how much can she continue bringing to the table, especially if she's such a passive person or a stick in the mud about things? I can't see her lasting too much longer on the show. She seems over all of the fighting, too. Just go live happily ever after with Erik and your cute father-in-law, Traci. Odd, right, ChaChaSlide? This really is going to continue bugging the crap out of me. Maybe I can try asking Terra again through Twitter.
  11. I agree about Lila - fake, creepy, and desperate for attention. I feel like every movement, every word, and every "emotion" is contrived and manipulated. If this is what we will have to put up with on the NY edition, I may be out. (Speaking of which, I haven't seen the promotional commercial, but I did do a Google search and saw a promotional picture of the cast. Lila looks a little different in it. Also, there's a dude featured in the picture, too. Not sure why if it's called "Little Women: NY.") How old is she supposed to be, by the way? I noticed she was looking a little rough, but I don't know if that's due to age or drinking aged her. I found her Facebook, but can't tell how old she is. (Interestingly, she mentioned having a twin sister who I see from her pictures is not a little person. Not sure if that's true or she is just calling her sister (friend?) her twin sister.) I find it very, very hard to believe that Traci was ever a "wild child" as I believe Christy once described her in a previous episode (or something along those lines). I wanted to comment on last week's episode, and definitely from tonight's episode, that she really, really needs to remove the stick from her ass. I get that it was sort of a bummer to learn that you were going camping instead of staying in a hotel during the trip (and that was, honestly, a little shitty of Terra if only because I'm sure the ladies would've packed and dressed differently had she told them ahead of time), but come on, make the best of it! Give things a shot instead of pouting about it all. Her stick-up-the-ass personality also made me feel bad for her father-in-law in last week's episode. I get that you're not allowed pets in the apartment, but you can't deal with it for ONE night if he kept it in his bedroom? She complained that she would have trouble getting things cleaned up upon moving because of "all the cat hair", but if you contain the cat to one room, I seriously doubt the damn thing is going to shed its entire coat all over that room in one night. So, instead, Traci further shoves the stick up her ass and makes her poor father-in-law and husband - both of whom obviously have tons of trouble walking! - shuffle back out into the night to put the cat in a pet motel. Jesus, Traci. And don't even get me started how she cannot even try to pretend that her supposed best friend is having baby. I get that she's emotionally struggling with the fact that she hasn't gotten pregnant easily, but fuck, even I was very happy when each of my best friends got married even though I haven't yet. Anyway... one last thing, about Briana's boyfriend: I tried asking in her thread, but not sure if anyone read it since I didn't get an answer yet, so I'll try here since he was in this episode, too, and it's still driving me nuts. Does anyone remember when MTV did a True Life special "I'm a Little Person" back in 2002? Terra was one of the little people featured, but also in that episode was a blonde little person named Robyn. Robyn was dating a guy the she met online and they showed her flying somewhere to go visit him. I could almost swear that guy is the same person as Briana's boyfriend, Matt. I looked all over the Internet for the full episode or his name, but I can't find it. I just remember him looking a lot like this guy. I tried asking Terra through Twitter, but got no response. Personally, I don't question average sized guys dating little people, but if this is the same guy, I would HIGHLY question it. It would send a red flag up for me that he has a fetish (and not to mention, he just so happens to date two little people who are on TV??). Suspect...
  12. The "Used Date" party was one of the shittiest concepts I've ever heard. If I was Tonya, I'd not only be incredibly insulted, but totally creeped out as well. I mean, it's basically saying to her, "Here, have my sloppy seconds!" or "He sucked and wasn't good enough for me, but hey, maybe you're good enough for his crap instead." No, thank you, bitches.
  13. I am hoping someone can answer my question here about Briana's new boyfriend because it's been driving me nuts.
