  1. This episode is on TNT today.  I only watched it the one time when it originally aired.  Clare was such a weak character and her little girls voice made her unconvincing as a tough character.  Plus she's not much of an actress.

Even though I know how this episode ends, I feel the same way.  Die Clare.  Die in agony.

  2. I kind of agree that Jenny is being fed some answers.  She pulled some singer's wife's name out of her ass.  "Missouri has a crown on it and the singer's wife was a beauty queen so it must be ... "  I think it was the rhino who just finished.

Gordon wasn't short on answers tonight.  He did a good job with the clues.

I don't know who any of these people are.  I don't know who Hunter Hayes is.  I don't know who Barry Zito is except I guess he's a pitcher for a baseball team.

I didn't think Anger sang that well tonight.  She didn't really pick it up until the end. I'm not sure what 2:85 means except that she may be a 35 year old  born in February.

  3. I loved Leverage.  One local TV station still airs one episode per week.  I kind of like it that way - it stretches it out longer.

I am not excited about the new series.  I am not a fan of Noah Wylie.  The Librarians was like watching a supernatural version of Leverage, only with a worse cast.  Except for Christian Kane and John Larroquette, the rest of the cast wasn't very likeable.    If they couldn't bring Nate back, they should have just left the series alone.  At least they didn't cast the colonel from The Librarians in this.

  4. While watching the after show, Angel said something about being on Cloud 9.  Which is the name of the retail store on the TV show 'Superstore'.  I haven't watched the clues in a while so I remember nothing about her.  I looked up America Ferrera.  She did do one musical - it looks like.  Although, it didn't sound like she was cast for any exceptional singing abilities.  I could not find any other videos with her singing.

I've changed my stance on Frog. It may well be Alfonso Riebero. At the start of the clue package, the music from Always Sunny in Philadelphia was playing. I can only take that as a Fresh Prince reference. There was something else that made me think that, but I can't remember now. Bow Wow is not from Philly, and Alfonso started out as a child actor -- and dancer.

What was the significance of the bow tie?

  6. Maybe that is the reason I haven't been interested in the episodes lately.  They aren't fun anymore.  They are kind of dark and boring - sometimes drawn out too long - like when they had to land the airplane.  I thought that episode was never going to end.

I had no problem when they brought Desi in.  I rarely like women in tv shows.  Mostly because they have to tick some boxes and not because they really make the show any better.  I had a problem with it when they put Mac and Desi together.  I don't know why characters who work together can't lead separate personal lives.  I think putting Mac and Riley together would be a mistake as well.

I think the big plot twist would be that she was really pining after Desi and not Mac, but I think they have pretty much alluded to a Mac/Riley set up.

In one of the previous episodes - I noticed Levy Tran's name in the guest credit role and not the main credits.  I thought it meant she was on her way out, but it restored in future episodes.

  7. I found the Gloria characterization to be kind of ridiculous.  I actually thought a secondary character in the pilot looked more like Gloria = I thought she was going to be Gloria - than whoever is playing her.  The hair and sunglasses looks really stupid.  Just my opinion, obviously, but the way they have written her is underwhelming and it is giving me the impression that Gloria Steinem was entirely over rated.  The actress is not giving a good performance.

  8. Mrs. Tran was only in 4 episodes.  The first episode was played by a different actress, Lauren Tom appeared in three.

She actually responded to my tweet when I told her they should do a Supernatural/Futurama cartoon crossover.  Calling either SuperRama or FuturNatural.

I'm actually watching Futurama as I'm posting here.

I was surprised at what an impression Mrs. Tran made in four episodes.  I couldn't believe there were that few.

  9. I don't think this season is having much of a payoff.  The judges keep throwing out names I've never heard of, as their guesses.  I had no idea who tonight's contestant is or the person who has a Youtube channel.  They really need more well known people on this show.

  10. When I saw smug actress, Jeri Ryan's, name in the credits, I thought, if she becomes a part of the team, I'm out.

I assume she won't appear much, so it's okay.

I grew to like Mac's dad.

The disgust coming from the CIA guy when he found his team overtaken was hilarious.

  11. Season 1, episode 9.  Doogie Howser, MD. 'She Ain't Heavy, She's My Cousin'.

A tall bleached blond character is picking on the main characters.  I was only partially watching - surfing the net at the same time.  Then I look again.  Is that a bleached blond, 1989 version of Mark Pellegrino? I rewound then looked it up on IMDB.  He almost had a mullet going.

I never realized Mark was that tall, but maybe he only looked really tall because the main characters aren't that tall.

  12. I'm kind of confused about Dina and the vet.  Just a couple of episodes ago, she was way over the top in trying to give him a gift - she stole his drivers license so she could photoshop a huge photo of them together.  I wasn't sure, at the time, if she was making some of it up in her head about dating this vet. Now she seemed very indifferent.

  13. I thought Night Angel sounded like Toni Braxton.  I don't know if she's a mogul.  At one point in her life, I thought she was broke or bankrupt or something.  I figured that's why she had to do Braxton Family Values.  If it turns out to be any of her sisters - I will not know who she is.  Toni is the only Braxton I know.

I'm pretty sure in her first package, the Kangaroo said she had a child.  So this was not a new clue.  It's why I thought it could be the person who played the daughter on 'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air'.

Tatyana Ali was her name.  She played Ashley Banks.

The Take explores why they think the finale didn’t work.

The finale made me so upset because it did a disservice to Tracy, Robin, Barney and Ted.  They rigidly stuck the ending they created at the beginning of the show while totally not respecting the way the characters evolved as the series progressed over the years.  I went from loving the show to being completely disinterested in watching reruns.  I spent 9 years looking forward to Ted meeting the Mother and then the writers treated Tracy like a throw away incubator.   It’s good to have a plan but when situations change you also have to be flexible.  What seemed like a good idea in the early seasons of the show made no sense for the ending 9 years later.

I watched "The Leap" today.  It made me think that it was too bad the writers didn't learn anything from that episode and move on from their original ending.

  15. Honestly, it seemed like Aubrey screaming like a little girl begging for his life, would have been a deal breaker for Riley - not the other way around.

I also considered, for a moment, that Aubrey was with another secret agency and was going to be revealed as an agent.
