I agree, it showed that Mary was not discreet nor respectful when she had a change of heart about marrying Tony. When sitting at dinner with Charles, he mentions that he got over her rejection, he didn't die. She says she hopes Tony feels that same way (when breaking up with him). Wouldn't a trustworthy discreet person keep that information to herself until she talked to the involved party. Especially in light of her intimate week with Tony. I cut Tony some slack for trying to hold on to Mary...especially because she seems to have taken Tony away from his ex-fiancée, Mabel Fox. Maybe he was feeling bad for dumping Mabel for Mary only to find out she was rejecting him. In addition, he believed he had an obligation to marry the woman (lady) he had intimate relations with.

Yikes who does this sound like...we've been describing her for pages? "To sum up the above (as well as extend it), when criticized, narcissists--acutely sensitive to negative evaluation--can begin to experience anxiety or degradation. A certain shame at their non-family-bonded core may rise perilously close to consciousness. So, by way of safeguarding themselves from such never-resolved feelings of worthlessness or defeat, they're likely to react to present-day threats with contempt or defiance, or with a verbal violence frequently referred to as "narcissistic rage." Another way of putting this is that, exquisitely susceptible to criticism because it endangers their frail sense of internal validation, they take great pains to devalue or invalidate the person criticizing them. To achieve such dismissal of the threatening other, they'll do everything possible to negate their viewpoint. And this can include much more than blaming or indignantly challenging them. For narcissists, when their position has been exposed as false, arbitrary, or untenable, will suddenly become evasive, articulate half-truths, lie (actually, as much to themselves as others), flat-out contradict themselves (and to a degree that can leave the other person gaping!), and freely rewrite history (literally--and audaciously--making things up as they go along). This is why at such times they don't seem adults so much as six-year-olds. And in fact, when others inadvertently trigger mini emotional crises in them, there's little doubt that, both cognitively and emotionally, they can regress to a maturity level of that age (or less)." https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/evolution-the-self/201110/the-narcissists-dilemma-they-can-dish-it-out -

I agree with you about Kim NOT taking care of Monty to take his drugs...even though it crossed my mind. She said he was her friend and isn't he the father of her daughter? She seems a lonely person so I wouldn't be surprised, if sad as it is, she saw him as a companion also. If Monty had just come back to Kim's home after being away for a few days, I can believe she did not want to go to the Card Party. Did she have bronchial pneumonia and hurt her ribs coughing and have a hiatus hernia who knows...but the doctors keeping her there for 9-days for absolutely nothing doesn't make sense. Kim may have been mentally and physically exhausted and she never should have taken a pill to magically make her feel better...it was an epic fail and only drew another wedge between Kyle and herself. I don't believe Kim should have attended the wine tasting or poker night based on her current obligations. She should never have signed on for this season...I suppose the money is a reason she did. Probably didn't want to ask her family for financial support especially in light of her daughter's wedding. She would have been better off living a more conservative lifestyle and had her daughter and husband taken out a loan for the wedding. IMO, exposing her family to this season's addiction/sister woes was not worth it. If Kim was worried about Brandi not having anyone to film with...than that was one huge mistake! -

I doubt Bravo sent a film crew with LisaV...maybe Ken took the quick video. I agree it was weird...then I think the whole way she makes sexual innuendos about her pets is freaky...can't stand her pet-sex talk. :D :D -

I was researching Kathy Hilton and found this. I didn't realize she was a half sister to Kyle & Kim and that she didn't watch the show in 2012 because it made her cry! Though it appears since her kids grew up she's been working. Her two daughters seem to be raking it in also. NET WORTH: $300 MILLION--DATE OF BIRTH MARCH 13, 1959--PLACE OF BIRTH NEW YORK CITY--PROFESSION: ACTOR, FASHION DESIGNER, PRESENTER, BUSINESS PERSON CATEGORY--RICHEST CELEBRITIES Kathy Hilton net worth: Kathy Hilton is an American: actress, home shopping personality, fashion designer and philanthropist who has a net worth of $300 million. Kathy Hilton is probably best known for being the mother of Paris Hilton. Since marrying into the Hilton family, Kathy began working on home-shopping network QVC in 2002, and 3 years later she hosted the reality television program I Want to Be a Hilton on NBC. Two years after that, she began selling skincare products on rival home-shopping network HSN. Her latest venture was in 2008, when she made a cameo appearance on the soap opera, The Young and the Restless as herself and in 2011 she also appeared on The World According to Paris. Hilton's half-sisters, Kim and Kyle Richards, are both cast members on the hit Bravo reality series, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, In 2012, she commented that she refuses to watch her sisters on the show because they cause her to fall apart and break down in tears. Since 2012, she has designed the Kathy Hilton Collection of party dresses, sold in four hundred stores worldwide, including Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom. She and her husband, Richard Hilton, are living in Bel Air and have four grown children, daughters Paris and Nicky, and sons Barron and Conrad. When I first tried reading here my eyes were strained and I had headaches...and it certainly wasn't from everyone's funny, thought provoking and interesting comments. It was the bright white background. I had to bring the white down on my iPad...now it's better. I belong to another forum with pale color backgrounds and I had no problems. So I know your eyes can actually get hurt from reading. I believe in another few weeks no one will remember Gia's video about her parents. Teresa and Joe broke the law and are doing the time. The four girls are collateral damage...unfortunately they will be doing time also. Their loser parents believed stealing other people's money and living the high life was more important than the welfare of their kids. Right now the girls are living with their dad, an admitted alcoholic (on TV) which is a mental disease with physical consequences. Should this guy be the guardian of the children...no way? I'm not surprised that this video was released under his watch. May God watch out for those children living under his care and I hope other family members are keeping watch. -
Laughed myself silly! Those one liners of cast members sure lighten it up. My stand alone favorite line from this episode. What did you think?

ITA WW, I've also felt there was a role reversal with Gia taking over the mother part and Ter acting like the kid. Like the time she grabbed the phone from her mom, in the store, to respond to her mother's text message. -

Excellent point Izabella...how much punishment can a liver take. Any doctor prescribing her drugs which may harm her organs should be prescribing a blood test to check out her liver every few months. -

In elementary school my son's music teacher came to my home to give him piano lessons. I paid her for every lesson, it had nothing to do with the school. Children were not taught how to play piano in school. In school he was given violin lessons as part of the curriculum.I'm guessing Gia's teacher may have either volunteered her services if it's just one song or she may be getting paid as a voice coach for the three girls in the group. No doubt, from the words of the song, the teacher is sympathetic toward Gia's suffering about her parents going to jail. -

I believe the first few videos were pure indulgences on behalf of the 6 parents and whoever else funded them. Were they expecting a spin-off show or a wind fall coming their way...good luck with that? The new "Just 13" video is a defiant song written by Gia and her teacher to counteract/respond to the negativity Gia is feeling from her contemporaries. Kids are so good at being mean to each other...especially in high school. I can only imagine what kind of comments Gia is getting as she exposes herself on Twitter, FB and Instagram with this video. The latest video might make her feel better temporarily but it will give her critics weeks, if not months of pleasure by using every word against her. Her parents critics will no doubt see the video as a reaffirmation of their well justified criticism of Teresa and Juicy's sketchy parenting skills. Though Teresa's fans will feel sorry for a teenager defending and missing her mom. -

I know nothing about alcoholics but was wondering about Brandi's statement that Kyle drank the same amount and had a higher tolerance. Just read a few articles about alcoholics and their liver function which explains why Kyle and Brandi could drink the same amount of alcohol but Kyle is not showing any signs of being drunk such as slurring speech, getting loud, loss of balance. Kyle may have a healthy liver which processes and eliminates liquor in 12-hours. Whereas Brandi's liver may be impaired which takes longer then 12-hours to process/eliminate her liquor. In essence Brandi who believe she drank the same amount as Kyle doesn't realize she's adding her booze on top of the booze still being processed in her liver from the evening before. So Brandi might have slurred speech, loud talk, fuzzy thinking and loss of balance from the same number of alcoholic drinks as Kyle. To Brandi it appears Kyle has a higher tolerance, but it's because Kyle's liver is healthy. http://www.neillneill.com/can-a-functioning-alcoholic-be-affected-by-one-drink -

I was wondering the same thing AnnA. We know the girls had to pay someone to produce the video and it's free on YouTube. They put it on YouTube along with all their videos. Personally it appears to be parents indulging their children's hobby. -
I got the same take as you from that scene. Violet may have committed adultery, but we don't know if it was just first & second base. :D :D Till we get the juicy details we just have to give Violet the benefit of the doubt.

:) Hi January--Thank you and all the other members who have so graciously shared information about addiction. The raw struggles of the RHOBHs cast has brought this very human condition before us. The complication and nuanceses of addiction are all around us but until you see it played out before you it's easy to misunderstand. This episode has put before us the trials and tribulations of Kim with pill addiction and Brandi with alcohol addiction...both in bad shape IMO. I just read that, "alcoholism and all other substance abuse disorders are mental disorders, with a high physical complication rate" (see link below). I didn't think of it as a mental disorder...now I wonder if Kim and Brandi should be on a TV show that uses alcohol as another HW. In the 1920's my mom told me about people making bath tubs of gin and young girls 13 and 14-years old getting addicted. Some had horrible lives and died untimely deaths without support/treatment. I think Aviva Drescher's (RHONY) mom died of alcohol poisoning. I apologize to anyone whose feelings I may have hurt by talking smack about Kim & Brandi...they both have a disease which is a monumental hurdle to get under control...I wish them well. Sorry for being a Debbie Downer. http://www.bettyfordcenter.org/treatment/doctors-office/why-is-alcoholism-classified-as-a-mental-illness.php -

Kim made her own decision to take pill/pills before attending the poker game. It was her decision alone to act like an azzhat that evening. No doubt we'll hear a thousand excuses for why she popped pills or whatever. I have my doubts as to if she was sober to begin with. I've read shortly after this she's hospitalized for bronchial pneumonia. Another excuse she's given was stress from her terminally ill husband living with her, then her pit bull dog biting family and friends, and planning a wedding for her daughter. Oh, I almost forgot she was tired and took the pills to wake herself up? The whole Kim acting high-as-a-kite in front of cameras is very shady IMO. -

I don't think your a prude. Brandi acts like a kid just gabbing on and on without a filter. Pity the poor HW who confides in her...well if loose lips sink ships...Brandi has sunk a few Spanish armadas (one is 130 ships). Why Andy Cohen, who hires & fires the HWs, favors her is beyond me. Sometimes I believe he identifies with her unwholesome awkward humor...though I read recently that he did not enjoy the trick she and Jeff Lewis played on him during their visit to WWHL. :D. :D -

Here's a direct link to the "Just 13" video at youtube: My son dabbles in producing music and said a lot of folks use auto-tune. He felt her voice wasn't that bad considering her message. At least she ended it upbeat. I would be so mortified and embarrassed if my parents were going to prison...the last thing inthe world I would be making is a video about it...referring to myself as a queen...maybe a princess, lol. In her case, her family already had some notariety and she had some exposure being filmed and performing. I suppose it's not surprising that a 13-year old would be defensive about her life right now. Her teacher helped her write the song and I'm sure added the word "moxie" to the mix. No big surprise here...many before her with the same or less talent have sung about the deep shit effecting their lives. Is it better to "let it go" not my cup-of-tea? The introverted 13-year old girl I was, wouldn't think of it. Though I couldn't carry a tune to save my life either. :D. :D -

I can't remember if Kim was on the phone in the video clip the editors allowed us to see of an hour long limo ride. But I believe your most likely right because Kim/Brandi are connected at the hip, lol. Sometimes I wonder if they take turns as dummies with each taking turns at manipulating what is said by the other. Was Brandi trying to get Kyle inebriated...not sure...but I think Brandi always wants those around her drunk? :D Brandi most likely believes drunkenness is a prerequisite of filming RHOBHs. ITA Brandi is capable of planning trouble, doesn't know what's going to spill out from the animal part of her brain or the consequences of her verbal diarrhea. :D :D And your so right it's usually about petty issues. -

Mutt & Jeff they hijacked the episode! Did they deliberately set out to do so? When Kim took the pill/pills was she establishing a story arc shift for herself...from the recovering addict to the falling-off-the-wagon HW? Or was she as surprised as the audience that the focus of the evening turned to her? -

Sorry, but it was simple to look up stuff and share. Now I'm starving...after reading about their chef. OK lets all book a wine tasting, with lunch...wine does nothing for me either. lol Has anyone posting from California ever visited? The cooking classes looked like fun. So much room and so many places to eat. Maybe Bravo's pocketbook was empty due to salaries?
