  1. This episode disgusted me and I really don't know what is going on with this season or this show. I grew up in the small town in CT where the home invasion occurred and the similarities were eerie in the episode. Things ended up a lot worse and it shook the town to its core. This torture and darkness has become so common on the show now, an episode like this doesn't really surprise me. It more or less makes me question why? Wasn't it season 10 there was an episode addressing Olivia's PTSD and that was pre- Lewis.
  2. I kind of enjoyed that they brought back "leslie." His character entertained me and strangely seemed to fit into the storyline well enough. Carisi's moves caught my eye too. I just thought maybe we haven't ever seen a detective move so fast. He was moving pretty damn fast scramming down that hall. When the lights started flickering in the theater, I thought they were going to Ripped from the Dark Night Headline. I'm like Please Don't! I'm glad they didn't. Strangely, when they went to that abandoned building, I thought it was the Lewis episode one. Glad they didn't go there either.
  3. I thought this episode was quite good. Another episode Produced by Mariska. They seem to be getting stronger as we move forward. Agreed, I knew something was off about the Uncle from early on. It seems the team is pulling together, collectively getting their shit together. It was nice to see everybody present in an episode without too much emphasis on an individual. I am glad that they didn't focus overtly on Race, but there seemed to be some underlying tones. I was reminded of The Season 12 Episode,Reparations, that I found to be an outstanding episode. At first, I was annoyed with the ending. After a little processing, I am good with it. I think it's funny how they throw in cousin Jackie from Sopranos in on some of these cases, he looked like a fish out of water in that wild court room. What also cracked me up - The New(Er) Guy: "Her Uncle.. he raped her? It can't be.." Benson, "Yes it can". (He walks away). Haha. Go check out early/ mid-season episodes. Uncles ain't nothin!
  4. I just watched Blast (Se7Ep13) for the first time. I definitely recommend it as a strong Melinda episode (as well as Shattered; Se11Ep24). Any other picks?
  5. Morbid, I feel your pain. I created an account so I could post about this episode. I, too, was super excited about what this episode could potentially offer. All I can say is I hope this is preparing us for a huge comeback on Rollin's part. We are in desperate need of a strong female character right about now. That last scene was shady. At first I thought there was chance she might shoot him when he was walking out of the courthouse. Would I have preferred this course? eh. It would have at least have been more interesting. If she was in a stronger place or had some people to back her, she could have taken Justice down to Hotlanta herself - but it's sure not looking that way. What will come of this time off? Not sure I want to know. A lot of the Attorneys have made me squirm but this Williams is that absolute worst. Throw the remote worst. I'm ready for a turn around here.
