  1. Throw Carol in there, saying Finn is the Glee Club and the Glee Club is Finn. That seemed to be trying to manipulate the Finn/Cory fans to continue to watch Glee.
  2. Yep, that was the ironic part, Dean was going around saying how much chemistry he had with Lea, and, personally, I never saw it. I did not think much of him as an actor, that is for sure. I just remember how RIB kept saying how much we were going to like Brody, yada yada.
  3. Of the original cast, no one did any chemistry testing. We know that Dean Geyer tested with Lea, and I think Jacob picked Melissa, but that is it.
  4. When did Unholy Trinity become a big thing? I know it has been mentioned here and there, but did we really see Quinn hang around Brittany and Santana all that much? In season 1, that is how they joined Glee Club, and the end of Season 3 they mentioned it and now for reunion episodes they make a big deal out of the 3 of them, like they were joined at the hip Is it just to give them a reason to sing together?
  5. The camera guy , the Klaine fans love him. Is that person you are talking about from Gleeforum, who goes to most of the location shoots? And the camera guy asks her not to give spoilers and she won't because then he would know it was her who gave them. Who is the camera guy going to tweet with once Glee if over?
  6. But isn't somewhat common knowledge that Cory was the one who represented the cast when there were issues with the higher ups? Isn't he the one that asked for more time off and less hours for the 'kids'? After he died, several people stated he was the leader, he was indeed the quarterback of the 'kids'. My guess is that did not sit too well with Ryan. Since the original newbies seemed to be hired with a concert tour in mind, I wonder who of the original cast stated that they did not want to go on tour again? Just curious.
  7. When is the last time that Ryan has actually praised Darren? And I don't mean giving him more screentime on Glee. Come on Glee or Fox or the people in charge have not include Darren for Emmy consideration the last 2 years. There has to be something to that. Ryan , at least lately, outside of Glee only talks about Lea. And when he received his award last summer he did not include any one from Glee in his speech. But then again Darren's girlfriend got a pretty nice job out of it.
  8. This may sound stupid, but hasn't Darren done a lot of performances for events that Fox,Glee, the gay community or Ryan Murphy was involved in? That can't have hurt his cause, to be sure. I have always thought of Darren as more of a performer than an actor. But I also think the people in charge really wanted to be represented in the gay community, but Chris who got a lot of notoriety for the bullying storyline that then led to the Golden Globe win did not seem to like to be carted out for things like that. Now mind you, that had Jane and Dot and Ryan, and others I am sure, but Darren was the performer and he seemed to show up for every event out there.
  9. Not that bullying is on the same level, but didn't people say similar things when Finn dated Quinn again in Season 2. Like I said, not that threatening to kill some one and lying about the paternity of a baby are on the same playing field, but Ryan likes to make statements. Like you said , they may be just trying to show that Dave is out and comfortable as a gay man, ignoring the elephant in the room, and attaching him to another character. Remember that Ryan and company like to use the term 'post-Glee gay'.
  10. What I worry about the Sam and Rachel dating story is that RIB think they are doing a PSA of how a young person deals with the death of their significant other and moving forward. I anticipate lots of meta speeches, even one about how people don't think she should date Sam, but here they are. Just like they had Sam talk about angry bloggers when he was dating Brittany. Can you imagine what a bind they would have been in if Rachel were still dating Brody when Finn died. How would they have handled that storyline.
  11. Agree! They keep telling us what the story is suppose to be vs. showing us on screen. Wonder if they will ever admit to their mistakes?
  12. I agree with the above, I do think Darren seems more concerned with people liking him, that is why he wrote that letter before the Break-up episode. It may also be why he has been vocal in the past when knows fans will not like a story line, or when Glee was not doing great after season 4 started to change the story on how he got the part. He tries to say that Glee came looking for him, rather than say that he actually tried out for the part of Finn. He implied that he had never heard of Glee until someone asked him to audition for Blaine.
  13. But if Darren is professional and wants to continue acting as a career, he really needs to step up to the plate, whether he agrees with the storyline or not. Which is true of all the actors, they can no longer use "Glee" as an excuse to not have other work. I mean Lea, has a book coming out, but I hope that she does not see her career as being a lifestyle writer.
  14. I think that the writers think that Darren is an incredible actor, if you ask me. When he came in Season 2, he did well with what he was given and his songs did well, he was popular. In season 3 they gave him lots of songs in the beginning of an episode that had no storyline attached to it. So by season 4, they really made him the male lead over both Chris and Cory. What they did not realize is that he had no range. Darren is more of a performer than an actor, imo. Ryan was actually surprised by some of the twitter asks he got in season 4 about Blaine because they did not seem to match what the writers were trying to convey. But they also did that with Heather, Heather was popular because of her one liners, so in Season 4 they gave her lots of dialogue and songs, too. One liners were Heather's strength not whole dialogues.
