I just think it's weird because in season 2 they seemed to air ALL of the fighting between Ryan and Jessica - but there was barely anything between Heather and Derek. I would have thought if it were something major it would have been shown.

Twitter is brutal. I still remember being blocked by season 2 cast when I called out Jessica for being an actress and ulterior motives for being on the show. HA!

Well she's pretty much saying he's a pot smoker. Ho hum.

Watching that clip of Nick Popping off - reminds me of an exboyfriend I had. Initially he was great - but over time became moody, quiet and would not talk to me at all. He would hold it in and then just explode at me - and it turned out he had been wanting to split up for weeks. I was like Sonia - totally clueless about what was going on because when I would try to talk to him - he would give me one word answers or basically ignore me. I can't blame her for wanting to know what is going on - I think she said in a TH - she would rather know if he didn't like her so then she WOULD KNOW. Honestly - she doesn't really seem to be that in to him at all either. I think Nick thinks she likes him because she's trying - I just think she's being polite.

Whether they look sexy together. IE Ryan and Jessica lol

I really wanted Derek and Heather to at least try to make it work, and clearly Derek was committed to the experiment. It makes me sad that for him he was set up with someone that made her judgements initially and stuck with them. She reminds me of someone that LOOKS for issues in her partners. She is looking for the red flags - much like Davina. She didn't want it to work and kept harping on one comment he made about a casino. I was not surprised she wanted a divorce at all. I was surprised that Tara's summary she was surprised though. Generally I agree with almost all of her summaries :)

I immediately thought he was gay when he said sex in a public bathroom at a pool. The city I live in is very gay friendly - and many of the YMCA's are known for sex in the steam rooms and showers. I have had friends go there specifically for that reason. There is just too much about him and his affect that screams gay to me than him just not being in to her. But that's for another thread. It amazes me that they say they know things about each other - but in the scenes it never shows them actually talking about anything. Are they both that introverted that even chit-chat is hard?

When they were doing the Tantra touching she looked really relaxed and he looked petrified. I wondered if he just didn't like her or was scared of the cameras. I really don't think he likes her at all. I mean she is nice, but it is coming off desperate if you want someone to touch you when they clearly don't - pushing them will only make them defensive. He just seems like he is shutting down more and more every episode that goes on.

Not totally sure. I was not of the people that thought he was gay before - but something feels off to me about him. Maybe he's in the closet still? I have no idea. But He needs to be honest with her.

I would hope so. I really don't think he's straight and the longer this goes on I think he's doing this for publicity for his clothing line. I feel bad for Sonia because she seems so incredibly sweet!

This episode really frustrated me. I was NOT surprised at all that Derek and Heather split up. I just am more annoyed they dragged it out this long. Heather is dead inside. I don't think she will ever get married if she continues to be so nit picky. Granted Derek is no prize, but she didn't even give it a chance. I feel bad for Sonia. I don't think Nick likes her at all. I was hoping he was just being shy. But he pretty much cleared it up. He's just not that in to her. I don't know if he's gay but he for sure doesn't seem like he is in to women. He said "I like your butt and boobs" Then in the TH said he had a lot of Jack Daniels in him. As if he needs to be drunk to find her attractive. That makes me sad - because I think she is the prettiest of all the ladies. I know I should care about Lily and Tom but they are meh to me.

Nick's online presence and show presence do not seem to match at all.

I saw the twitter thing go down with Nick and Sonia. They both posted comments about Felicia. Apparently Nick was at home depot picking up DIY stuff. The check out lady was named Felicia. It was definitely a crazy coincidence. I did check out his twitter feed a bit more and he and her are holding things pretty close to the vest. But I have good thoughts this could be working out.

I think he does for sure! My child has special needs and we are around and associated with the ASD community. I truly think part of his awkwardness is related to a form of autism or other unspecified issue.

Just catching up today - been so busy. Lily and Tom: I think she would go along with anything at this point. I don't know why Tom wants a post-nuptial agreement. That just seems so weird to me. If I were to compare these two side by side - my guess is Lily is brining more to the table. And if he wants it in writing that no one gets the bus but him in the divorce - I don't think that would be an issue. I see these two starting to fizzle mid-season. This just doesn't seem like a good fit to me at all. He seems like a hiking/surfing type - and she always has make up on and is always dressed really well - it just seems like they live in different worlds. Heather and Derek - It is clear to me that by next week she will ask for a divorce and I don't know why they insist on dragging this out. I really hated the dress she wore, and she spent so much time doing her hair - yet the final product was stringy and gross. I don't like heather at all - and Derek just annoys the crap out of me. I just wish they would get these two off the show asap. Nick and Sonia - I am starting to think that Nick is maybe just in his own world. I have wondered from the beginning if he has some form of autism. He just is so socially awkward and seems to have a really difficult time with touch and intimacy. He is highly intelligent and he says the right things in the sound bites but then when he's with her it does not translate. And I think the more distant he is the more insecure she is going to start to feel. Nick better step it up here or he's gonna blow his shot.

I don't think Sonia is a LARGER girl. She is a latina woman and has curves. Many men prefer women that have curves and not stick figures. I am in the minority - but I actually think Nick is attracted to sonia but he's incredibly shy and totally awkward. Some men are very thoughtful in how they approach sex, and he may be one of them. Next weeks previews look like they get it on :)

Totally agree with this - but I think it's fairly clear that they are talking about weed. The way "smoking" is constantly overdubbed when someone says it makes be believe she was saying "smoking weed". But I totally agree on deal breakers. Though I do think some things are very flexible because the person you marry today is not the same person you will be with 10 years from now.

I agree with all of this. I hate when they throw around "Stranger". A stranger is someone you haven't had a conversation with - after 5 days of solid time together - you don't know everything about one another - but you are no longer strangers.

I think SM is pretty easy to tell early on. I was able to pin point jessica and Ryan D weren't together right away. It was pretty easy also with Sean and Davina - within a few episodes. Last year - it was clear that none of them made it by mid season - even though Tres and Vanessa stayed married. But most of us here - knew Tres wasn't ready to be a husband. My gut says that Sonia and Nick may very well be together. His answers are very telling from the Knot and that picture. I remain uncertain about Tom and Lilian and obviously we know that Derek and Heather don't make it.

I still like her better than Dr. C and Dr. Logan - they were awful. These matches are better than what Dr. C could ever muster. I think it's fair to say we know how Derek and Heather end. The other two look promising. Looking for dirt on Tom and Lilian

I'm sucked in too. I was Done after last season as well. But are we ever really done? I mean most of us have been here since the beginning. LOL!

I agree with this very much. i thought her response to Derek was super low "class" and passive aggressive. I don't like her but I don't necessarily think she's totally wrong in this argument.

I just finished watching the episode online. Initially was really rooting for Lilian and Tom - but the quickness of the attraction and how much they like each other - makes me feel like it will implode with the same intensity. I wish they would actually talk more and kiss less. I'm kind of grossed out watching them constantly grope each other. I thought that Nick and Sonia were odd at first but they are really growing on me. I think they actually stand a good shot. My husband is really shy like Nick - and it took him a long time to really open up. He still after 7.5 years together struggles with it - so if she can be patient with him - which I think her extroverted self can - it should work. I thought the fight was rather much to do about nothing. I really wanted to say this was all on Heather. I do think she is being nit picky, and I agree with Derek that she will never find the perfect person. I agree with her that it's a really poor impression to smoke so much with someone - and even if you are in "vacation mode" you are still on vacation with a stranger. He could have maybe dialed it back - HOWEVER if she said initially she was fine with it and he asked - then you can't really fault him. Either way - they weren't fighting about the topic they were fighting at each other. And I don't see this ending well.
