I haven't seen any of the TikTok videos. I'm not on that platform. The general consensus on reddit seems to be, Jackie who is Meri's catfisher, or various members of Christine's branch of the family. Why would Christine or her kids anonymously do creepy videos with disguised voices? People on reddit say that the videos don't reveal much new information. Just on what I've read, it sounds like it's Meri's catfisher to me.

I feel sorry for the Brown kids. I think that all and all, they try to be nice, good, people. Young people need to learn that they don't need to post every thought that they ever had, every mistake that they ever made, how they choose to raise their kids, their politics, basically everything about their lives since the day they were born. They need to learn that privacy is important and all of this sharing will bring them trouble. All people will never agree with every belief that they have and every choice that they ever made. The thing with most young people is that they are nobodies and very few people will pay attention to their every move. The Brown kids are in the spotlight and have to guard their privacy more than their peers do. They get a lot of attention. Even the oldest Brown children are very young. They'll probably change greatly as they mature. I'm not going to judge a 24 year old man as he learns to navigate his way through life, and certainly not for things he did as a child. As Judge Judy says, a young man in his twenties is six. I don't agree with Paedon's world views now, but I am not willing to say they're locked in and he's a bad guy. I'll wait and see what Paedon thinks and does as he matures.

I watched the entire season. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Scotland, the castle, the cast, the host... It really was a fun show. I have a couple of questions about the very end, but I'll wait until more people finish the series to ask them. I hope that this is a reality show that gets more seasons.

Yes, but so far, he hasn't walked his accusations back. The silence from all of them and TLC is deafening. Sooner or later someone will say something. I think... As far as the happy picture above, there's a lot of happy pictures of the Duggars, Willis family, and thousands of other families where horrific things went on. Smiling pictures mean nothing.

The Brown's use the word unsafe to describe every uncomfortable situation that could possibly come up. I don't think that Paedon's use of unsafe regarding Meri and his use of it regarding Kody were in the same context.

If he was abused, which none of us know if he was or wasn't, he shouldn't be expected to stay quiet in order to avoid a mess for the family. If Meri did consult a professional about how to handle this situation, you can be sure that the first question that they asked her was if she ever hit Paedon in front of anyone else. If the answer was yes, she can't outright deny Paedon's statements. It's just a matter of opinion if she crossed a line. Different people will see it differently.

Meri's silence is telling to me. She has basically been accused of child abuse by Paedon. The allegation is everywhere and spreading by the minute. So far, Paedon hasn't walked it back. Wouldn't she immediately deny the allegation if it wasn't true? Is it true and she's afraid that if she denies it, other family members will come forward and back Paedon's story? We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

This thing about Meri being abusive is exploding. People, ET and other celebrity magazines have picked it up. Paedon isn't an anonymous source. He's an immediate family member who has accused one of his parents of abuse. This isn't a stupid little fluff piece. We'll have to wait and see what happens next. There's still no word from any of the parents or TLC. Most especially, no word from Meri.

Based on what Paedon said, I think that there's only two options. Meri beat some of the kids, or Paedon is outright lying. He said, 1. Mean and abrasive weren't strong enough words to describe Meri's behavior. 2. Kody flicked his mouth and paddled him. He said that when Kody did these things he was being a good father. He said that he deserved these punishments. 3. He said that whatever Meri did went beyond verbal. He said that verbal didn't exist with her. 4. He said that he couldn't say exactly what went on because he was afraid it would get the show canceled. I don't think that there's much room to think that Meri was just strict. If he thinks lip flicks and paddling is ok, whatever Meri did, had to be worse than that. I believe Paedon. Maddie, Christine, Janelle, and Kody have also alluded to Meri being abusive in my opinion. One other thing, Paedon has admitted that he was aggressive toward others. It's very common for children who are hit to hit other people.

One thing that comes across to me in Paedon's interview, Gwen's youtube recaps, and Gabe, Savanah, and Ysabel's talking heads is that these kids love their father. Paedon says over and over again what a great father Kody was until he was 12. He says that he hopes to have a good relationship again with Kody some day. Gwen says that Kody is trying to do better. She tries her hardest not to put Kody down as she recaps the episodes and listens to all of his crazy talk. Gabe cried when he was telling the audience about his birthday conversation. Ysabel and Savanah jump through hoops to excuse him after he let them down. I'm sure that all of Kody's kids with the first three wives feel the same. They love him. It breaks my heart. I don't know how Kody lives with himself. His children with the first three wives love him and long for his company and he treats them so horribly. Then he tells them that it's their own and their mother's fault that he treats them that way. There's a special place in hell for people like Kody.

Maddie said that Meri was a monster in her tweet. Paedon said that he couldn't say everything about Meri because he didn't want to end the show for his parents. Christine cut Meri off from her kids. I think this thing with Meri is bigger than we think.

I think that now that the kids see that there's money to be made by coming forward on social media, more will do so. Mykelti has recently jumped on the bandwagon. I think that in the very near future, we will get much more information from various children's point of view on social media. So what if the children misbehaved at the beginning of the series? I refuse to judge young children whose lives have been totally disrupted for being naughty. Their lives started being filmed, they were forced to move from the home they loved, their father married another woman, three additional children joined the family, and their father left them for eleven days. That's a lot for any kid to take. I like all of the Brown kids and think for the most part they were very well behaved. I don't care if this sounds sexist, but I raised a boy. They rough house. I don't think that the Brown boys' mothers were intimidated or overwhelmed. They just weren't over reactionary to normal boy behavior. To me, annoying behavior, but not a huge deal. I believe Maddie and Paedon when they say that Meri abused them and was scary. I don't care what they did, it didn't give her the right to hit them or scare them. Christine was right to cut Meri off from her kids. As I said before, just because I don't agree with Paedon's world views, I won't discount everything that he says about his own life and family.

I don't believe that she was on the verge of beating them to death either. I do believe that Paedon saw it that way though. When you are a child being hit regularly by an adult, I would think it's very scary. Maddie has also said that Meri was abusive and that she was afraid of her. As far as Gwen's opinion regarding Meri goes, she probably wasn't one of the kids that Meri abused. Like I said earlier, 23 people, 23 points of view. They are all entitled to their view.

A couple of other things that Paedon said: 1. He will never hate Robyn because she opened the other adults eyes to the fact that Meri was abusing some of the children. He actually said that he thought that she saved their lives. He said that Meri's abuse was beyond verbal abuse. 2. Meri was already on the outs before her legal divorce. Paedon thinks that she went along with the legal divorce to make Robyn happy, and thus get back in Kody's good graces.

There are 23 members of the Brown family. They all see the family through their own lens. This interview is the family according to Paedon's lens. Just because I don't agree with everything he believes about world issues, I will not discount his view of his own family and the way he was treated by members of his family. I thought that he gave a lot of information and I found the interview very interesting.

ETA: Now I'm an hour and a half in. I highly recommend this video. Paedon reveals so much that I can't even believe it. This interview is explosive.

This video with Paedon is very long. I'm only an hour into it. He gives so much information. A few examples... 1. Kind of mean and abrasive aren't strong enough words to describe how Meri treated some of the kids in Lehi. 2. Kody didn't have any of his children vaccinated for anything. Paedon got his vaccinations when he joined the military. 3. Paedon said his father was a great father until he was 12. He started to change then and was a completely different man by the time Paedon turned 15. These are just a few things. He says so much more and I'm only an hour in.

James on My Take on Reality said that there are rules regarding withdrawals from an LLC. He said that if Robyn or Kody were taking unapproved funds out of the business, it is not only unethical, it is a crime. The original LLC that TLC was paying into had all of the adults names on it. If this is the family account that Janelle was talking about when she said that money was being spent on "other things", Kody and Robyn could be in big trouble.

Sarah from Realitea Squad said something that gave me great satisfaction... She said that the the first 3 wives had a youthful, optimistic, happy, Kody, while Robyn is stuck with this grumpy, pessimistic man that we see now. I would add ugly, manic, going off the deep end, Kody. There really is karma in life. Look at what Robyn "won." I would be scared to death if I was her. Kody really seems to be losing it to me.

I wonder what Janelle will do now. It seems that in September or October 2022, the time of the tell all, Janelle was going to maintain her marriage to Kody for religious purposes, but stay separated from him. With the total break from Meri, I don’t think that Kody has a planet anymore. Even if you count Janelle, he only has two wives. My understanding of their faith is that he needs three wives to earn a planet in heaven. Now that there's nowhere to go with Kody in the after life, I hope that Janelle also makes a complete break from him. Hopefully Janelle and Kody's official statement will come out soon.

I want to know what's going to happen with the money. Christine seems to be satisfied with the money that she walked away with. I hope that things work out financially for Meri and Janelle too.

Kody is totally ignoring the fact that Garrison was going to work and Gabe was going to school. These are the main reasons that they couldn't follow Kody's rules. I think that Kody is jealous of his sons' sex lives. It hurts him that he's over the hill and they aren't. I think that's why he's overly and very inappropriately focused on that part of their lives.

I honestly believe that once the money is gone, Robyn will be gone. The big difference being that Robyn is legally married to Kody. I think that she will force him to work until he drops dead in order to pay her child support. She won’t let him off easy. Kody deserves whatever his loyal, perfect wife Robyn, does to him in the future. He so badly wanted a bad breakup with Christine. I have no doubt that Robyn will give him the bad breakup that he didn't get with Christine.
