Jim Holt said that Jim Bob accused him of being jealous of him. Holt answered that he wouldn't ever want Jim Bob's life. Even after everything that's happened with Josh, Jim Bob sees his life as something to be envied. In light of the problems surrounding his son, I think Jim Bob should view his life as horrific. He really doesn't seem to understand how sickening and horrible having a son like Josh is. He also doesn't seem to understand how dangerous Josh is to other people, especially to all of the Duggar children and grandchildren. Jim Bob's level of delusion regarding the Josh issue is dangerous and scary.

When Aspyn was interviewed by Mykelti and Tony, she said something like she eventually wants children, but she wants to wait as long as possible. Logan said that he doesn't want children. I think that the Brown adults put so much parental responsibility on Aspyn and Logan that they are sick and tired of parenting before they even have children of their own. The adults should be ashamed of themselves. If they couldn't take care of their kids, they should have stopped having them. It wasn't right to make Logan and Aspyn parent their younger siblings. They didn't decide to have the kids that the parents couldn't/wouldn't take care of themselves.

Since the show began and especially since the divorce, Kody has overtly and loudly criticized Christine. Now that she has a new man, I wonder if Kody will be so free with his insults. I think that Kody will be afraid to criticize Christine publicly, with David on the scene. I think that Mr. Bigshot is just a cowardly bully. He'll hide behind "unnamed sources" in rag magazines if he wants to talk bad about her.

By this logic, we could say that Christine never promised in pre-existence to marry Kody. She and her kids were promised to David all along. We could say that Christine's marriage to Kody was a mistake and a diversion. She has finally found the guy she promised to marry and everything is good now. None of this matters because Christine doesn't believe any of it anymore. Christine has said that she believes that God wants her to be happy. I agree with her.

If Christine was involved with David before she left Kody, I say good for her. If having another man waiting in the wings is what gave her the courage to get out of her toxic relationship with Kody, I'm all for it. He left her over 10 years ago. He didn't listen to her, help her financially, parent his children with her, give her equal time, and he rarely had sex with her. He wasn't a husband, he was someone she knew that lived nearby. He wasn't even a friend to her. When the Meri catfishing scandal happened, I was against Meri. I considered what she did cheating. That's because I thought Kody was keeping an equal rotation. I thought that he was keeping up his end of the bargain. I didn't know that he had already basically abandoned his marriage with Meri. If I knew then what I know now, I would have been on Meri's side. IMO, there's no such thing as cheating on someone who has already abandoned the marriage. Whether they've officially announced it or not. Whenever Christine met David, I don’t think that she did anything wrong. Kody left her years ago.

Kody and Robyn are scum. Why would Christine want anything to do with them or their kids once she left? Beyond making Truley available to Kody if he wants to see her, she owes the two of them or their kids nothing. Kody rammed Robyn and her kids down everyone's throat and neglected the rest of his family from the moment he met her. Christine would be insane to want to be anywhere near them beyond things like weddings and funerals where it can't be avoided. I have to hand it to Christine for attending the twins birth with Robyn there. If Mykelti was my daughter, she would have been forced to make a choice. If she had Robyn there, I wouldn't have attended the birth.

I don't know a thing about David. He seems like a nice man. However, after Kody, Christine seems to think that basic everyday things are a huge deal. Things like going places with her and Truley, talking nice to her, and the man not being in love with another woman. I'm not saying that David is a bad guy or that she's making a mistake. I have no idea. I hope that she's right and that they have a long, happy life together. My only fear for Christine is that Kody was such a bad husband that anyone seems over the top wonderful in comparison.

Wow, four months seems quick to me. I hope that it's a long engagement so that they have time to know each other better.

Poor Truley. It seems to me that she doesn't even know how to act around a father figure. She spent so little time with Kody that she doesn't know how to behave around David. If she liked, felt comfortable, and spent time with her father, she would know how to handle her relationship with David.

Robyn to the group - order whatever you want. I'll eat anything. Robyn whispers to Kody - I want pepperoni. Kody to the group - We're ordering pepperoni.

I think that Robyn is the pretender. I think that Christine will say what she wants, nobody will listen to her, and she will act nice and file away her resentment as she eats a slice that she doesn't like.

I don't think that Janelle and Christine are particularly remarkable or great. It's when you compare them to the other adults in the family that their stock goes way up. Kody, Robyn, and Meri display such awful behavior and have such horrible personalities that they make Janelle and Christine look wonderful. I also think that we, the audience, were so happy to see one of the wives finally push back at Kody and leave, that we put Christine up on a pedestal once she announced that she was leaving. I think that both Janelle and Christine are just average women who are doing their best to get through life. They do/did some good things and some bad. They made mistakes like we all do. They have some annoying traits and behaviors, but for the most part they're nice ladies. It's when you compare them to the other three that they seem like saints.

I don't mind Leon's anger so much. It is rude to ask a person if they're pregnant. It's an offensive question and warrents anger. What bothers me about Leon's personality is the smug superiority that they display. They act like they are the authority on what people should think and feel. It's very off-putting. Like we need Leon to tell us how we should feel about making coffee in the morning. Please...

I hope that it's true too. It really doesn't matter how many sources report it. Once one reports it, the others just copy the initial report. It could be wishful thinking on my part, but it seems logical that if they've lost 3/5 of their income, Robyn and Kody would be feeling the strain immensely. We can only hope... It's mean, but I wish no happiness on those two. They really did the three OG wives dirty.

I think that Tony was and is devoted to Mykelti. I'm sure that Mykelti gave Tony the lay of the land regarding her family. Tony approached the wedding plan conversation knowing where the family placed Mykelti in the pecking order and how they treated her. I think that he was prepared to stand up for what they wanted and wasn't going to easily let them roll over Mykelti and act like her feelings didn't matter much. They always treated Mykelti like, "oh Mykelti..." I think that Tony loved Mykelti and that approach to her and her feelings was going to end. Say what you want about Tony, but Mykelti's viewpoints are given much more importance since Tony came into her life. Whatever he did worked with the other members of Mykelti's family. Tony is no pushover.

I think that they did use their kids to finance their lifestyle. If they didn't want to go that route, when they first adopted the children, they would have quit the show. Will and Zoey had very hard lives to that point. Bill and Jen could have decided to forego the show, and the money it brought, in the children's best interest. They chose the show and money instead. I think that Bill and Jen made a bad decision regarding their children right out of the gate. Thank goodness the problem with the production company forced Bill and Jen off of TV. It worked out well for Will and Zoey.

Robyn was a horrible sister wife from day one. She was and still is selfish, sneaky, and manipulative. Based on several books, videos, and documentaries, it appears that a selfish, sneaky, and manipulative sister wife is pretty common in polygamy. I think that Meri also had these traits. What's so hard to take is that Kody keeps declaring what a kind, empathetic, unselfish sister wife Robyn is. We see over and over that Robyn is the exact opposite. I'm just happy that the OG three got themselves out of that toxic situation. Let Kody and Robyn lie to themselves and one another. They can profess to each other what good people they are. At least the OG three don't have to hear it and pretend that they buy that load of crap.

I am honestly starting to wonder if Taylor Sheridan has some kind of fetish where he likes to watch women getting beat up. The Teonna abuse scenes and the prostitute scenes seem a little over the top to me. Plus there was a couple of similiar scenes in Yellowstone season five where two women were beating one another to a pulp. I'm starting to see a pattern with this issue in Sheridan's work. The prostitute scenes this season, wasted time and added nothing to the story. Everyone already knew that the miner was a bad guy. We saw the nun and Priest abusing Teonna about twenty more times than we needed in order to understand that Teonna was being severely abused at the school. What is Taylor Sheridan's obsession with women being beat?

Most TV series resolve at least one issue in a season then move on to other issues in the next season. This season didn't resolve any of the outstanding problems. In fact, more problems were added with no forward progress on the problems that already existed. Spencer and Alex are still traveling. Now they are separated on top of traveling. No forward progress for the Duttons in Montana either. There were just more problems added to the mix - losing the baby, without clarifying if she can have more children, the ranch hand's wife being arrested and him being beaten, and the tax/money issues. Teonna's story is almost too brutal to watch. The cousin, the grandmother, and Hank all dead with the priest and the cops showing no signs of stopping their brutality. The abuse just goes on and on and on with no end. Teonna is no closer to a safe situation than she was in episode one. I don't think it's a satisfying story if the writer just keeps adding new problems without resolving any of the problems that were already there. I think that a season finale should have some sense of closure. If the audience invests in an entire season, they should be rewarded with at least one issue from that season being resolved.

I am totally frustrated. This show moves at such a slow pace. Spencer still didn't make it to Montana. 1923 is a good show, but the pacing makes it hard to watch. The first season was basically introducing us to the characters and a war between the miner and the Duttons being started. That's it. Eight episodes and that's all that happened.

If the recap of Gwen's latest video on reddit is accurate, she said that Kody sometimes bruised her when he hit her. What father would hit his little girl so hard that he bruised her? I think that things in that family were much worse than the audience thought. We've always known that Kody neglected the OG wives' kids. Now it appears that during the limited time he spent with them, he found time to hit them hard enough to bruise them. Wow...

Kody wants everyone to adore him without him doing any work. Now he has to drive to Utah and visit his kids because he's afraid that he'll be replaced by David. I bet that he wants to kill Christine. Her new boyfriend is forcing him to put in a little effort with his kids. He must be fuming the whole time that he's driving to Utah. I am immensely enjoying this whole thing.

This is an excerpt from an All About The Tea article... "A source tells All About The Tea exclusively, “Kody is fuming that Christine has brought her new man around the family so fast … especially his grandkids.” The family insider added, “Kody feels they’re moving too fast and Christine is wet behind the ears when it comes to men.” According to the family snitch, “Kody feels her new boyfriend might be using Christine for fame.” Kody really is a disgusting jackass. 1. He refuses to believe that a person would fall for Christine because she's pretty and nice. Before Christine was even gone, he was saying that another man would "use" her for money. I think that the thing that's so funny is that Robyn did use Kody for money and fame, while it seems that David does honestly care for Christine and has no ulterior motives. 2. If he has a problem with David being around his grandchildren, he should take it up with Mykelti. She's the one who decides who's around her kids. She obviously doesn't have a problem with it. 3. I'm sure that many members of Kody's family felt that he moved too quickly with Robyn and her kids. Kody didn't seem to mind when he was the one bringing strangers into the family too quickly.

I agree, it certainly isn't the first time that Christine made herself look foolish with her over the top approach to things. I wouldn't have expected it from the guy though. Be that as it may, I'm happy for them and wish them well.

I can't wait to see Kody's reaction to Christine's new relationship. He went crazy because Janelle stayed friends with Christine. I think we are going to see Kody go absolutely insane when he hears about Christine and David. He wanted Christine to be alone and miserable for having the audacity to leave him. The exact opposite is happening. I love this whole thing. Also, at first I thought he was going to visit with Truley for filming purposes. Now I think he's going to guard his turf. I don't think he can stand the thought of David in Utah, taking his place. He doesn't want Christine or her kids, but I bet he doesn't want anyone else to have them either. Too bad for Kody.
