  1. Here's something I don't really get. Robert made a host version of his dead partner Arnold and called him Bernard. Risky, because the host looks just like a dead human and does essentially the same job as said human. It seems pretty unrealistic that Ford would take that kind of a risk, waving it away with "well, the records/files were scrubbed..." etc. It seems like it would have made more sense to call Bernard Arnold and pretend he never was killed in the park. He would have to "age" Bernard anyway with multiple hosts if he was going to give the impression that Bernard was his assistant and pass him off as human. It seems like it would have been more prudent to have just named him Arnold, and start him off older and age him in real time...
  2. My main problem with Anna's story is that it's the wrong story. THIS is the story that should have played out after she murdered Faison after he was handcuffed and "helpless". THIS is the story that should have played out after she murdered Dr. O in cold blood for being responsible for Robin's abduction. If Anna was going to kill anyone and be haunted by it because she is a "good guy" character (an interesting story, I agree) she needed the right set-up event. There were literally 2 there for the taking, and they ended up slapping a contrived ending to Duke's story in order to jump start this story arc. Yes - Anna had the right to grieve Duke and want vengeance - but if the actions of Faison and Dr. O were not enough to push her over the edge, this shouldn't have done it either. But - Carlos was expendable, and Faison and Dr. O are not - which makes the story feel contrived to me. I think the actual scenes are well written and well directed, and I think FH is acting the HELL out it - the best "material" she's had in years. But it still rings false to me. Too convenient - more of a way to get Anna off screen for a while and re-set Slone's character. I've always thought Anna was capable of murdering someone in the right circumstances - Faison, Olivia Jerome, Grant Putnam, and now Dr. O. They all needed killing. Carlos needed arresting and prosecuting and throwing away the key.
  3. I'll go you one better SlovakPrincess - I believe his co-star in that movie was Kim Delaney... I know this, yet I still need to look up my password to this site. I wish my brain would empty itself out a bit to make room for some useful information...
  4. I don't think it was - I'm just assuming that it happened off screen. The things I'm most interested in usually do...
  5. Hello board! New poster but have been lurking for a bit. A couple of boring episodes after a string of pretty good ones, relatively speaking. I'm actually looking forward to Anna losing her job - is it weird that I'm hoping the newly appointed mayor Felicia is the one to give her the boot? At least they'll share some screen time. Anna needs to take of the white hat for a while and embrace her more sinister impulses. She was right on target wanting to kill Faison, and I don't blame her a bit for tossing him into a hole and throwing away the proverbial key. I do blame her (**cough-cough** the writers) for being stupid about it. I know they are writing the PCPD to be clueless idiots for plot purposes, but I'm tired of Anna Freakin' Devane being kicked around by the Port Charles criminal element. I want her to start kicking back...
  6. Hi all! I've been lurking for a while so I thought I would throw my hat into the ring. I have been LOVING this return of AH. Faison has been much more Faison-like this time around. But my god - could they PLEASE manscape him a bit? Anders was never conventionally handsome but he was always well put together and "old school" suave. Let's tie the hair back, weed-whack those eyebrows and trim up the beard, shall we? The suits and the cigars are not enough on their own - I'm digging The scenes between AH and FH however... And I also preferred it when Cesar Faison was just some powerful creepy bad dude from Anna's DVX past - they tried to up the creep factor by retconning when and how they met, I assume to make Anna more rootable and more of a victim of circumstance. It wasn't necessary, it was a better story when her working for him was just a bad, bad decision that kept coming around to smack her upside the head. I miss Robert - he should be all over this story...
