To the poster who asked upthread, yes, the race has been to Ireland. There was a season where the first leg flew to Ireland. One of the tasks was leading a donkey. It was hilarious.

The thing about Chevy Chase is what he was like behind the scenes, and I don't think he was a pleasant person. Martin and Short (and this show) don't have to work with anyone they won't get along with.
I'm so waiting for Scott Bakula to move into the penthouse in the Arconia!

I was disturbed by that as well. Not that you shouldn't try to connect with people, but the way she said it left me anxious and depressed. More than usual.

I'm thrilled that we're getting the current Christmas special on Christmas Day! Makes me feel very British!
Also, PBS is airing several of the previous specials (3 or 4 of them) on Christmas Eve.
