I have been amusing myself reading about the Norwalk Ohio mayor although I can't find any confirmation that he actually performed the Dani/Mo wedding. Well snap I actually agree with Cassia that "journalism" is not the correct word to describe the genres of "infotainment" (Nancy Grace) and reality TV. I actually struggled with that but could not think of a more precise word. I wonder whether mass communications/broadcast majors do have as a part of their curriculum any course touching on ethical standards. I would like to think so but maybe it is just one big cesspool. The rest of the post was inarticulate but striking in its apparent indifference to Danielle's plight. This does not concern me since based on Danielle's MeetMe outreach efforts she has lost my sympathy. Back to snark. I think when confronted with Dani's job loss Mohamed should have busted out a serenade of that treacly ballad "I Won't Give Up on You" have Danielle claims he won her over with on Skype.

I like how El Diablo Blanco answered that he would not break up a family so would cheat (if in sexless relationship). Meanwhile props to Danielle for her lusty ways. What about her age, shape, finances, living quarters, track record, etc. is conducive to hot pursuit of sex partners? Unrelated note -- What if Mo reveals himself in the series finale to be Sasha Baron Cohen playing a role??? Kind of Borat meets Ali G?

I agree with Kacky. I fear that pulling the curtain back even further on this pathetic family could result in actual harm to one or more of them. I don't keep up with the Honey Boo Boo child molesting fiasco but I think I read that sweet lovable Mama June spent money rightfully belonging to her molestation victim daughter on the perpetrator. People will act true to type. if it is true (and we can rightfully question Tumblr as a source!) that Dani has "deep psychological issues" including suicidal tendencies, then I shudder to think of the effect the current -- and upcoming -- public scorn will have on her and her girls. Remember Nancy Grace was accused of driving someone to suicide -- and she was just one voice as opposed to the vicious mob on Facebook. TLC can't look away from what is on its official site and I think it has a responsibility here -- maybe even to the point of killing the cringe-worthy scene that was in the previews. Ratings gold or not, I see this as a potential future case study in courses on ethical journalism in the age of social media -- it should think about the long game.

I'm not surprised she deactivated on Facebook after having her unfortunate exchange with that Stephie person exposed. Here I thought a friend betrayed an intimate conversation but apparently (per Stephie) Dani reached out to her thinking Mo was interested in her and I guess Dani thought she could dissuade the competition by sharing Mo's alleged libido challenges. Mo must have been just thrilled when he saw that Dani wrote he must be gay or need a pill! Mo has a new profile pic up of him on a bike -- from the looks of things in Tunisia. Ah, the good old days in Tunis!

I keep thinking about the scene where Danielle informs Mo about the job loss. There is no actual reality here. Much like the scene where Mo stumbles across the football players, here we have camera angles of him sauntering through a park, Danielle just happening to be sitting at a picnic table with cameras and lights everywhere, and we are to believe that he sits down unsuspectingly and hears the news. That can't be right -- it had to be staged and rehearsed. DItto the related "talking heads" -- Dani has on the same outfit as she has in all the prior episodes meaning they must all be done at once after the fact. I assume the scenes are created for max drama and conflict, but why? why? why? would anyone do this .... ? And on FB some 500 plus people are all madly commenting like it is the gospel truth and all unfolding in real time.

So mohamed posted a message to his FB friends and dani is busy posting cheesy songs.

Watching the reruns I saw one of the daughters was rocking it in the episode in which the family was introduced. Maybe it's for the local high school? It went all the way to Qatar. Update!!! There is a brand new Tumblr entry on Dani and Mo. However I must say I think this group is way ahead -- tumblr is just breaking the OK Cupid profile. Christi and Essexjan may soon see a surge of competition. They don't have the municipal court records which were a genius find.

I just keep thinking about that cheeseball song about not giving up -- what are the chances that a Tunisian man would come across it, commit it to memory, serenade his MeetMe friend with it over Skype (and there are a lot of lyrics) and arrange to dance to it on the visit? Could this pertain to her previous star crossed Internet romance? FB blew up today -- lots of mean comments being fielded by defenders of Danielle. The new eviction names Mo as a defendant. He needs a lawyer stat so he doesn't default and have a money judgment entered against him. The day dani is served she is commenting on his being handsome. Ah, love.

It gets better. According to the VisaJourney screenshot that is floating around somewhere, Mo came to the U.S. on May 9 or some date really close to that . The new FB page was started on May 8 and Danielle is not even a friend on that one. Takes the sympathy meter for Mo down a notch or two.
