The 95th Academy Awards 2023 In Memoriam

I hated The Social Network so much, I watched the entire Oscar broadcast so I could sleep in peace knowing it lost.

HBO was the greatest star of them all.

Fiddler is one of my favorite Broadway musical film adaptations. While I've always read Zero Mostel's Tevye was wonderful on stage, Norman Jewison's contention Mostel would have overwhelmed the film sounds correct. Topol's more understated Tevye helped ground the movie Fiddler in realism. R.I.P. to him.

How is Candace Cameron Bure cancelled? Her IMDB page shows steady work with The Hallmark Channel making Christmas specials. Bure (presumably) plans to do the same with GAF. That's a helluva a lot better than many child/teen actors who disappeared forever after their hit TV series ended its run.
