  1. I think, given the way he acted in the jail....it was clear that Tyler, once realizing what he was, actually enjoyed it and that he only listens to Thornhill because she lets him do what he enjoys(I think they did say hydes eventually can no longer be controlled and do turn on their masters).....I think he was only pretending to help her escape, He clearly followed her into the woods, and for all we know his real plan was for something to go wrong at the train station. I think with Xavier, there is a difference between expecting something from her and trying to make a connection and not hiding his hope....I think he clearly remembered her very fondly when she saved his life when they were children, and wants to be in her life now....and we find out that Xavier had a legitimate reason to think Tyler was a bad a person....yeah, Tyler said he changed.....but really he just graduated from nasty pranks to cannibalism....Tyler also voiced wanting more from Wednesday several times and took her rebuff like a sad puppy who kept coming back to be kicked....except with him it was an act. At least Xavier had legitimate reason to be really angry, she did give him hope that she felt more for him when she asked him to the dance.
  2. My guess is that tptb will go the route of the stalker saw Xavier giving Wednesday the phone, and it didn't take them long to track down the number of the phone that Xavier bought her...I mean, realistically a good hacker could probably figure that out pretty quick because they already know who bought the phone and since I doubt its a burner... While I liked the show over all, I think I would've liked it better if they weren't trying to capitalize on the Addams franchise and just called it a different family.....or maybe going the route of her being Wednesday's daughter at Nevermore so its more like the next generation of Addams... My biggest gripes, is that Thornhill being the villain felt wayyyy to obvious..so much so that I watched thinking 'nahh...can't be her, its obvious.' And as soon as we knew it was a hyde, I was 50/50 it being Tyler or Enid. I also think that Xavier forgave Wednesday too easily, but I suppose she did take an arrow for him. I think Goodey's warning of Raven's are supposed to be alone and isolated should be taken with a grain of salt as Goodey also went mad before she died so...I hope Wednesday comes to the realization later that having friends and dare I say a love interest, doesn't make her weak and probably it was the isolation that drove Goodey mad, not being a raven... Overall, I enjoyed it, and will watch a s2.....it does feel as if Netflix was looking for a replacement show of Sabrina...and it does feel very Sabrina'y...so much so that I half expect it to come out that Wednesday is really the daughter of the devil in s2.....but as long as they do right by the show, not the nightmare that Sabrina turned into, I'll continue watching.
  3. Ehh...I don't think its a reuse of a plot device....its just one of many ways they used to chase a lead.
  4. Are we supposed to believe Maggie got a repport with these guys so fast that she's get invited to a party and no one thinks its weird since their secretly planning a terrorist attack at it? Gotta say I do love when their doing their high speed chases with their tactical driving. Who's fault was it?......No ones?.....Disagree, Maggie was told to wait for backup and their protective suits, and didn't listen....so yeah....her instincts, not always so great. And quite frankly, having her be the one in the right here...especially since she only knew this guy less than 2 weeks....kind of discounts that last week there was no acknowledgement from her of her actually clearly not ready to come back. The show runners said in an article that OA and Maggie end this episode on stronger footing....and honestly I felt like this didn't pay it out. This episode should of ended with some acknowledgement on both sides that they were both right and wrong....instead of just making it about OA being overprotective because of his guilt. Massive fail IMO. And I would add that while I think ZZ and MP acted that last scene really well....the way the writers and directors chose how that last scene was going to go felt very much like: Oh you think you're to blame for what happened to me? Well you're not, so you just need to get over it so we can get back to how we were before you had to watch me almost die.
  5. lol.....yes....will go back and fix.
  6. Episode 508, 11/22/22-“Into the Fire” – When a deadly truck heist arms the killers with enough ammonium nitrate to construct a massive bomb, the team discovers a link to a terrorist group Maggie is working to infiltrate. Episode 509, 12/13/22: Mid-Season finale- “Fortunate Son,” A teen shows up at FBI headquarters with a large bag of fentanyl, seeking the team’s protection from the men who shot his father. Plus, Nina comes to Scola with a proposal he is hesitant to accept
  7. same....but after laying the ground work for her to be in the field, it was weird to put her back in the JOC.
  8. I actually think he enjoyed training Kristen. Well he certainly liked working with her. I thought it was an interesting decision by tptb to keep her in the command center and start minimizing her time post stabbing.....I'm kind of wondering if the actor who played Kristen was getting bad feedback in the dailies or she'd already decided to leave...
  9. I keep forgetting that Scola is actually supposed to be in his mid/late-forties. Which puts him about 10 years older than Maggie, OA, and Tiff. I mean he was already an established broker on WallStreet doing really well for himself, when 9/11 happened and he lost his brother which motivated him to join the FBI. He said he'd been in the FBI for nearly 20 years when we met him....which also makes me wonder, why he isn't the lead field Agent instead of Maggie. I get that he probably doesn't want to ride a desk....but he doesn't seem to have any seniority...just like why has Jubal been passed over by at least 3 other people for the SAC position.....like what did these two do that stopped them from being promoted any further? I assume Jubal's might be that he is an alcoholic, and has a tendency to not always play by the rules when it matters to him....but what did Scola do?
  10. In any military/law enforcement job, HIPAA gets a bit....the same rights don't necessarily apply in the sense that an employee is required to report any and all medications/precedures/conditions that can affect their ability to do their job. Just like Elise being temporarily assigned to another unit because she had PTSD and was struggling...the same thing would've happened to Maggie, even if she'd been allowed back in the field...which, most likely, if they knew she was on Xanax, most likely not. The medical doctor that cleared her to go back to work, and the FBI psychiatrist would've been required to report their evaluations to the FBI... Which is why, Maggie said, she went to an outside psychiatrist that didn't report to the FBI....that in and of itself, should've been a red flag to OA, because it means she was hiding things from the FBI psychiatrist that was evaluating her for return to active duty. And not for nothing, though I think OA isn't thinking about his own life on the line, more that he is worried about her and his own fear of not getting to her in time.....The reality is, given their job, her state of mind and ability to do her job, also puts his life at risk if he needs her help and she froze again, has a flashback at the wrong time, is sluggish from taking a Xanax before a mission, etc...
  11. Maggie absolutely did NOT have things under control...and he had every reason to doubt her ability to do her job....She even admitted to him that she'd been cleared to come back to work, but it was recommended she take more time which suggests that they knew she wasn't really ready to come back. She chose to ignore that advice. And she wasn't being honest about the pills.....she told OA she would tell him if she was considering taking them, and kept denying that she was considering taking them.....you know what I do when a Dr gives me a prescription for a pill I don't plan on taking....I don't get it filled...and anti-anxiety meds are no joke...especially in the beginning until you get used to them, they can make you extremely lethargic, super exhausted, hard to focus....and she had them in her go bag in case the day became too much. ....and honestly, because this is a drama....I think we'll find out that she's been secretly taking them for a while. And their partners, and their supposed to have each others backs to protect and count on to back them in a pinch....so Maggie's well being and state of mind, especially in the field...is his business.
  12. It honestly went better than expected. I actually expected the show to end with one or both of them talking about not sure they'd be able to work together...the promo for next week looks like their still tense with each other. To me, its also clear that OA is struggling A LOT, they both are. I think Scola knows OA is in love with Maggie...or at the very least understands what he is going through since he went through a similar thing with Nina in the last episode. I really wish we'd get Scola and OA sitting down and Scola telling him about how he feels about Nina being pregnant, and OA talking out his feelings. But I have a feeling we won't get any acknowledgment of Scolina until 510.
  13. Glad to see Maggie back, but she so clearly is not ready to be back. OA might be overprotective, but I feel like its justified. She froze in the field, might be taking anti-anxiety meds which would pull her from the field, forgot her gun, clearly is still dealing with things....OA had reason to be concerned. I think Scola wasn't comfortable with her being at the meet and greet either and only Tiffany seemed to take her at her word that she was ready. I think once it was clear that the gang were users as well as dealers they should've known it wasn't gonna go well....and I don't think OA was wrong for going in....pulling the fire alarm was better then breaking her cover. And I think it would've went bad whether OA did that or not. OA was basically having a panic attack in the car and it felt so real that it set off my anxiety..lol. Figured it would end on an argument between them...tptb said 507/508 were supposed to be a 2 part thing, I guess that means only in regards to them fighting? I wish there would've been something from Scola about Nina.

  15. 48 hours till Maggie is back! I wonder if we'll get any clips tomorrow.
  16. Except she says she doesn't know what she wants and that she needs time to think. That is a valid answer and effective communication. Having an unplanned pregnancy changes a lot....and Scola probably does want to be a dad and probably does love Nina....but by his own admission Nina was his first attempt at letting someone in....since his brother died....20 years ago...thats a lot too. Scola is reserved, and he also knows that Nina has a right to make the choice that is best for her, so he doesn't want to put pressure on her by telling her what he wants before she decides what she wants to do.
  17. I also liked that she was: I did what I had to do to save my kid, but I shouldn't get a pass for it so I'll go to prison for it and I accept that.
  18. I think her reaction was on par for her character. We've seen that she is the type that tends to be very reactive, quick to angry and quick to act rash......I can totally picture Scola being the chill parent and Nina being the emotional one. One would think, but given the last CIA agent that was on the show....I don't think thats agency this show wants to flesh out too much....rogue agents works better for plots I guess?
  19. “Ready or Not” – Maggie returns from medical leave in time to help the team investigate two homicides: a law student on track to attend the FBI Academy and a young man with possible gang ties. Also, an inadvertent revelation from Maggie causes OA to worry that she is rushing back into the job too quickly, on the CBS Original series FBI, Tuesday, Nov. 15 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT)
  20. Agreed. Pregnancy is literally the stuff of life....we don't exist without it.....so its gonna happen....it just depends on how it goes down that makes it soapy. Scola and Nina were in a relationship, or trying to see if they could be in one so, so an unplanned pregnancy actually comes across very realistic. Now....if they engaged in some story line where Nina forgot who she was, slept with five people while having amnesia, then got her memory back and found out she was pregnant....then I'd be like: OH COME ON!!!
  21. My guess is that she thought the CIA would've let her son die instead of handing over their asset. Although I don't know this for sure, I believe Nina is supposed to be in 510.... Given that tptb have confirmed she will be around here and there, just not in a lead position anymore....I think its safe to say that her and Scola stay together and she probably decides to go through with the pregnancy, otherwise I don't know how they would keep her relevant to the plot now that MP is back in 507.
  22. The interviews from 3 years ago, implied this was supposed to be more about the agents and their personal lives and less about the cases.....I know DW's name is on the show, but I doubt he is actually involved other than a few random meetings here and there. Plus, in the real world people deal with pregnancies; wanted, unexpected, or unwanted. It would be really odd if there wasn't someone dealing with a pregnancy at some point throughout the series. In fact its kinda strange that, as far as we know, the only two people in the entirety of the JOC, that has children is Jubal and Elise. Its not realistic at all... Personally, I think they are handling Nina being pregnancy rather well. She wasn't right out of the gate, super excited. She is taking the time to think about it what she wants and even if she wants to carry it to term. I also like that, in true Scola fashion, he is keeping his emotions in check and not letting his personal wants and feelings influence Nina one way or the other. I just hope we do see him talking to someone about how he feels. The only problem I really have is that I know, since this is a crime drama that wants to focus more on the drama...I feel like this will only go one of 3 ways. -She decide she wants to get an abortion, but Scola will admit he wants the baby so it will cause a rift between them. -She'll decided to carry the baby, but there will complications ...with the possibility that she might lose it. -They'll try to play happy family, but it will end bad. Under no circumstance will they both be on the same page whatever the outcome, the pregnancy will go smooth if thats the route they take, and their relationship will be stable, happy, and healthy.
  23. Yeah...I have P+, but I was just surprised that I missed the ep...gonna watch it today.
