  1. PREACH! Based on nothing much but some sort of instinctual feeling, I've felt the whole season that Christina's female match is Tyler. Not really sure why, and honestly, it may be an editing thing, because I think Tyler was the biggest bitch about Christina's arrival. I feel like there are some people in this cast who are so invsible. Girl Alex? For all we know girl Alex could have a very-Christina personality, but we've heard her talk like once. When Christina was on the AfterMatch she named Alex as her least favorite girl in the house...hmmm...
  2. I've thought that too, FineWashables - poor, beautiful Shelby (arguably the prettiest girl in the house) got a shit deal.
  3. I have officially lost all hope for the possibility of these people not being dumbshits. How in the world would you not send Brandon and Briana to the truth booth when you get an answer either way it goes?!?!?!?! UGH! Layton continues to be disturbing.
  4. I think it was the second or third episode. The first several truth booths included Brandon, actually. He and Jessica were never interested in each other, but he went on a date with her, and I don't remember the circumstances exactly, but I'm assuming it was after he could no longer pick Christina. FWIW, I don't see the mass appeal of Christina, either. I guess it was just Brandon and John who were into her, but they focused so much on that shit for the first half of the season, and I was always just like... Her?
  5. I generally don't judge these people for their decision to live this way, BUT I did find it poignant when - following the upsetting news of news of Nonie's pregnancy - Paul, the teenager who has spent his whole life in polygamy said, "I can't imagine having more than one wife and having so many kids." He seems to feel pretty strongly that his mom has been brainwashed. I'm curious about how often the kids socialize with people outside of the polygamy lifestyle and how Paul - someone who has spent his whole life in polygamy and arguably knows that lifestyle much more than he knows any alternative - has come to such a conclusion. I don't want to count it as proof that polygamy is unnatural, or however I might phrase what I mean by that (human instinct is against it?), but I do find it quite interesting. I think Carly said she and her husband won't have a plural marriage, and I think I remember at least one of the Kody Brown's daughters saying she was opposed to it as well, and I'm fascinated by the perspective - maybe even moreso from a male child.
  6. I'm kinda surprised Layton and Jessica aren't a match, because they both have crazy eyes. Maybe that's what draws Jessica to Layton... she recognizes a common species. She freaks me out, how she's always lurking around whenever Layton is talking to anyone, staring like a mad woman. She is one more reason to stay away from Layton. They are a package deal of insanity and poor temperment... I wish they'd matched and gotten the hell out of the house.
  7. Sure thing, peachmangosteen! This one here is not up-to-date, but it's the one I copied... I saved it on my ipad and I use a photo app called "doodle me" (I think?) to just mark on top of it ;) https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B1AgJR9CEAABuPX.jpg I have to say, I'm so happy to have found a handful of other people who are watching this mess!
  8. Brandon was the one I found most attractive when the season began... now he's second to dead last (Layton, obviously). "I'm the only one here with a degree!" You're also the only one there who has been pouting for 7 straight weeks and is refusing to play the game, not to mention is getting a little psycho at this point (Ryan Devlin basically told him to back off last night, which is the first time I've seen him intervene so explicitly). It seems like everyone in the house (besides Christina) hates Brandon, which probably says a lot about how pleasant it is to be around him... my guess is that his match is Tyler, because she's also apparently a bit insufferable, although I fully support peachmangosteen's Brandon/Bri reality show proposal! Ha! ANYWAYS - I'm finding Alex P. super hot these days, and myself super gross for becoming so invested in this shitshow. I actually took a screen shot of a homemade chart someone else posted on Twitter and have been using it to try to figure out if any matches are evident yet. It's looking pretty good for Dario and Ashley! Which is cool, because that sweet girl should stay away from Layton (who I really think is matched with Ellie, which sucks for her, but isn't the worst because I don't think she will give that monster any attention beyond the game.)
  9. Oh yeah, I'd love to see more drunken brain busting over spreadsheets and less of the same someone-walks-in-to-tell-Christina-and-Brandon-to-stop-boning footage.
  10. I agree that last year's cast seemed smarter. I remember thinking they seemed at least smart enough to try to use logic, and was confused by how they didn't seem to be doing that, so I asked Ryan Devlin on Twitter if there were restrictions on them, like say - are they banned from making a damn spreadsheet? He responded, saying they tried really hard to figure it out every night, but were usually drunk while doing so and didn't retain much of their work in their heads from day to day. Anyways, even among this current cast of dingdongs, there has to be at least one that is trying to use logic (my guess is John). I'm actually even more annoyed with them this season, with the whole "I'm a lifelong player but have inexplicably fallen deeply in love with this girl I just met" crap... just play the game, kids!
  11. Me! From almost immediately. I commented on the last ep that he was very creepy. He gives off seriously scary misogynistic vibes. I hope whoever his match is never actually contacts him after this show. I'm afraid it's gonna be sweet Ashley, which makes me even more weary. And me! I feel basically this same way, peachmangosteen, including the part where I'm afraid his match is Ashley. He said something once about how her being a virgin was appealling to him, and it grossed me out... he just gives me misogynistic and VIOLENT vibes, and I read a virgin-fetishism type of weirdness there, too. Ashley (anyone) deserves better than the type of guy who thinks a girl kept herself pure for him, and that's the kind of dude I feel Layton is. The way he was disgusted with Jenni's announcement of blowing Anthony (which was, actually, kinda gross to announce, but his commentary was a little too angry), and the way he obviously never took Scary Jessica seriously as anything more than a human fleshlight... yeah. Layton sucks. And I feel that it's likely his match is Ashley, or maybe Ellie, who I also just want better for, because she is the best thing about this season.
  12. I agree about Taylor being a standout. I've been obsessed with his audition since in aired. I didn't even like "Sweater Weather" that much until his version. I really look forward to his performances in the live shows.
  13. I'm surprised that Gavin is the one everyone thinks is unrecognizable. Bush was a big deal in the 90s - when I was in high school, I know they had 2 albums that I wore out on my "discman"... heh. Yes, that was a long time ago, but still... you guys know who Little Big Town is, but not Gavin Rossdale? Not that I ever really know who the country mentor is, or who Blake was before this show... I guess it does make sense how Blake has won so many times - there are a lot more country fans than I ever realize.
