  1. In The Flash crossover episode, when they cut to Wells "politely" smiling while Oliver was talking about the danger to his family and friends if his identity was revealed, it was like Wells was thinking "Great suggestion, Oliver! I will do that to you and/or Barry when it is the most inconvenient either for building relationships or completing missions....ehhhhh, the computer will tell me when I'm supposed to do it."
  2. I think she also said stronger as well as shorter, but I'm not going to rewatch this episode to find out! I agree we're supposed to be moving to the "it's a woman" section of our suspect list ... just in time for Cupid to show up/Law and Order chung chung sound/. I found the episode a little disjointed - the evil sidekick angle could have been better integrated into the plot, both to give the reveal more punch and to make Oliver's choice whether to let Roy go more of a struggle. I did laugh at the flashbacks, including Oliver being made and dropped kicked in the Hong Kong flashback - I'm not an international mercenary, but I too would be suspicious of a tall and scruffy blond man following me.
  3. He put in serious time at the arrow sharpening station. His recollection at the end had a lot of shiny edges and blurring - that usually means hallucination to me. Hopefully there will be a Team Arrow road trip to Vegas at some point! This episode was great - nice character beats from Felicity's past and present. Cooper was a bit hypocritical, yes? Pretty sure working for the NSA (too bad it wasn't Argus - can't underline enough that they're nefarious with a capital Evil) equals working for the man.
  4. He did say the plans would be the cornerstone for rebuilding Starling, but I don't think "weaponized drones and other shooty things" equals a prosperous and vibrant city in this show. I agree he probably isn't evil - maybe he's going to use the advanced research program to go after someone who did something to him (everyone needs a dark secret on this show afterall)? It's ambiguous enough that Oliver can justify any objections to Felicity's working at QC (he's clearly unhappy about it) - you know, when they next speak in season six ;) The "you never quit Argus" stuff will lead to interesting storylines for Lyla and Dig - it also makes me curious how Oliver managed to break away from them post-Hong Kong.
  5. The poor guy getting his face eaten by flambé walker - when people say sucking face is a great way to go, I don't think that's what they mean. Carol, man. When she was ironing the laundry in season one, I was like "you'll be the first to go, lady". Now I think she's indispensable, both for the survival of the group and for advancing the "what price will you pay to survive" aspects of the storytelling. Yes, Princess Bride!! Also, I think there is a good Dr. Seuss story in that line. No, it is not! When they sprinted by the bones in last year's season finale, I thought "you fools! You could make stock with those!", which are things this show makes you think!
  6. This is a pretty reasonable possibility. They haven't included road block footage on rare occasions because of time constraints - I'm not going to complain in this instance, if it means more pony and sheep time! However, I miss the departure time information. I forgot who posted this above, but I'm also waiting for a broken ox moment for the dentists. They haven`t been short with each other or with other teams, but they haven't been in the truly stressful situations that can bring out the worst in racers. Also, loved the Ponies! ads - I said "yaaaaaay!!!!" everytime I saw them.
  7. I thought it was mostly good but so frenetic! I can be optimistic about how some of the plot points and themes will progress over the season, like Oliver coming to terms with his humanity-identity (likely with Diggle finding balance with his various roles as an example), and maybe Ray representing the concept of an alternative life rather than a triangle point. And I'll remind myself that no one ever really dies on a comic book show or movie, no matter what articles and producers say! WRT Laurel, it would be interesting to see someone be tempted to lead a superhero life and struggle to develop the necessary skills and outlook, only to realize that there is a better way (such as being a good DA). But pipe dreams, I know. Chekhov's bed! A bed mentioned at one point must surely be used at a later point. And you know that houseplant will be used as a symbol of hope - it will get more longing looks than the salmon ladder.
