  1. The Root funeral, man that was sad. I'm still convinced the last shot of the series is a shot of Reese and Finch's graves revealing their real names with a hoard of former numbers gathered around.

I would have loved if this season included more past numbers all working together to defeat Samaritan because that was an optimistic ending in the "they are all going to die" reality that's coming. If they brought  Harper (thank you Reese, totally forgot her name) back, they have to have Zoe, right???? If not I'll just fan hawk that she's the one watching Bear and she and Reese have resumed their FWB status.

Only two left, sigh. I'm sad but I realized during the wedding episode, much like Shaw, I'm over the case of the week numbers. Would have liked a longer final season to see more of them actually fighting back but I'm just glad they do have a proper ending.

  2.  I'm not even sure Root was a lesbian, I don't see her, or Shaw, being one define themselves or others. She and Shaw just clicked, the fact that they were both women was irrelevant IMO. The character shouldn't be defined by her most superfluous characteristics. Root was and still is all about The Machine, has been since the S1 finale. Her  death so the Machine could use her voice and fight back, that's all she ever wanted. The Shaw stuff was a nice bonus.

I can't quite process everything but it was fantastic!

  3. Maybe if he would have been more of a prominent villain I would have enjoyed "the voice's" demise a bit more. That should have been wrapped up last season not at the end of the series.

Seriously, if this random character (if you could even call him that) gets a conclusion, they better at least mention Zoe before all is said and done. I know the actress is busy, so if getting her back on wasn't possible, they can refer to her helping, or something.

But glad the team is back together, if only for a short time. If you want a happy ending, this should be your series finale.

  4. I didn't really like this one until the last 10 min. None of the wedding stuff made sense and logic was thrown out the window in favor of fan service, which was ok but not with less than 10 episodes left. (And if they felt the need to go the fan service route, at least put Zoe in!) Perhaps if there was a season 6 I would have liked it more but the A plot was very meh.

  5. I may or may not have literally squealed in delight upon seeing the back of that head. I'm not sure how they'll use him to defeat Samaritan, but I can't wait to find out!!

Oh and Reese thanking Fusco was a check mark on his road to heroic death. Break up with Dr Boring, check. Sincerely thank Lionel, check...

  6. Watched all three episodes last night and this was definitely the weakest of the three. It wasn't terrible for the most part but kind of lacked anything of significance. But thank goodness Reese and Iris are over. She was a completely useless character and despite dialogue suggesting "she got Reese better than anyone" they failed spectacularly at showing it. I still maintain the pairing was a CBS directive because they sure dropped her as soon as they could once it was apparent that this was the final season.

One last thought, I HATE the trope that a "normal" life is the only way to true happiness and fulfillment. I really wish Reese would have told Iris that not only does he need to be himself, but he wants to be.  He lives to save people and loves taking out the trash. There can be happiness there, and he's far from alone. He's got his own weird family. It's not normal, but it's where he seems happy. About time he embraced that. It's going to end with him dying, but there's no tragedy going out a bad ass hero.

  7. I'm 99.999999% sure Reese dies (the .0000001% is we think he does but is revealed to be alive in the last scene ala TDKR)

    75% sure Root dies too.

50/50 on Harold. Honestly I'd be fine if the final scene is a shot of Reese and his graves revealing their actual names, but I like sad, morbid endings. But I could see him deciding to be with Grace if Reese dies.

I'm sure Fusco and Shaw make it. We already had Shaw "die" and Fusco carring on the mission would be a nice ending.

But honestly as long as it doesn't end with Reese and Iris living "happily ever after" I'll be fine with anything.

  8. I am assuming that we will finally see the so far unseen bad guy Figgis next season when they eventually take him down. What are the chances that it will be former SNL and Lazy Sunday partner Chris Parnell considering that Figgis is his character's name on Archer?

Probably zero since Chris was already on the show twice as Jeffery Hoitzman (sp?) Unless that the as his cover alias but he seemed too pathetic to be a mob king.

  9. Oh dang! I'm going to have to watch this again because I was laughing too hard, and probably missed a lot. Amy's rage at the "boiled rags" got the biggest literal LOL because I love angry Amy. Great last three episodes, and I'm going to miss this show until fall.

  10. No legitimate adoption agency would approve them. It's all talk. They need to be vetted by a social worker, health histories, including psychological, investigated. And does MEchelle realize they don't just hand you a newborn baby? Most, especially in cases of international adoption are over a year old. The only way it's going to happen is if they find someone privately or somehow pass a home and psychological evaluation and adopt internationally, and that likely would be a child with special needs. They are not parenting the kids they have. I can't see them properly caring for a special needs child. These two just the more narcissistic people I have ever seen.

  11. Is Baby Brown Towel Jana's new buddy? Part of being a new parent is the lack of sleep. Bin and Jessa need to care for their own child.

    .

Seriously. It's just them and one baby. Not a house full of kids with Ben having to go to work. Then I could understand having someone come help keep the house up/make meals. They literally have nothing else to do but care for this blessing.

I'm sure the name will come next week so they can sell it to People for one last paycheck. Because after that really there is nothing to sell them. Unless they get divorced or something shocking. Baby #2 won't pay out nearly as much of anything. Need to milk this poor baby for all they can.

  12. If you watch the video on People, it says that Michelle (pfft, yeah right!) and Jana are staying with the new parents so Ben and Jessa can sleep at night. How lovely for Jana to wake up at 3am to care for yet another person's infant.

    #FreeJana

So is Jessa pumping? But even then she'll still need to pump a few times a night to establish her supply.

I'm surprised they aren't asking Jana to take medication that will make her lactate so she can also feed the Towelette. Ben and Jessa don't have jobs that require them to be well rested.

  13. So all those pics released days after the birth that were clearly in the hospital were really just from that one day? So they basically mislead everyone into thinking she was still there while people who don't even like Jessa expressed concern for her well being. All for money. These people just are the worst. I will no longer give any of them the benefit of the doubt. Money is all they are about. I think the Bible they love so much has something to say about that...

  14. I didn't like Matt's personality much but he was honest and a good sport, so I can't snark too much. I'm glad he's done though, it was getting boring. And honestly he kind of looked relieved. That was the least creepy he ever looked when they were all talking.
