    Is being "sick" code for producers to mean we don't need you in this scene so stay out? Brynn has been sick a couple of times, then Ubah and I believe Jenna.

    I don't necessarily doubt the legitimacy of any of them being sick since new covid strains have been going around, but I do have questions. Namely, if Brynn was sick and quarantining, then why was someone there filming her? And where was Brynn staying where she could be filmed, since she supposedly isn't allowed to film in her apartment?

    But it was just odd that she was making such a big deal about her lifeline to her family that requires her to be on 24/7 call because they are worried about her. It sounds like as a 40-something women she has to “check in” with her extended family at all hours of the night? Even if it’s a time zone difference, are they really calling her at 3 am her time to be like—just checking you’re still alive, Ubah?!

    In fairness, as a child Ubah was separated from her mother and sisters for several years due to war in Somalia and only reunited with them once they were all in Canada when she was a teenager. I wouldn't be surprised if there's some residual trauma from all that informing her reaction to phonegate and the thought that she might not be able to reach her family.

    I've really come around on Jessel through the course of the season. I found her annoying at first, but now that I know that she's making a list and checking it twice, I kind of can't wait for her reunion performance. Will there be poster board? A Power Point presentation? A list of grievances annotated with dates and times?

    Ubah taking Erin's sunglasses and fighting with her was the worse thing it ever happened in Erin's life? She must have had a charmed life. And I don’t believe her.

    What? You don't believe the person who got on the phone and relayed a version of the story where she gave Ubah the phone back within 2 minutes when there's video evidence of that not being the case?

    Love that Erin left in a huff after Ubah revealed something Erin said about one of the others in private after the whole drama Erin made about Jenna flying down on her own. She is a textbook example of someone who can dish it out but can't take it.

  4. Erin: "I'm chill."

    I'm 💀

    And now she's going to claim in her confessional that she's "intimidated" and "scared" of Ubah? Interesting given that in the group footage she started the fight by trying to lay down the law with her by telling her not to say her name when she's not around. Didn't seem very scared or intimidated in the moment.

    Brynn did not say that the fertility clinic told her to start calling old boyfriends right then and there!!! There was a form that asked for a name, so Brynn herself said she texted someone. But she never said the clinic made her call someone right then. It was such an egregious lie on her part to call Brynn out for an egregious lie.

    Brynn was also clearly doing a bit to enhance the story when she said that she started scrolling through her contacts. It's what people do when they're trying to entertain their audience, which I wouldn't expect Erin, who provides guests with neither food nor heat and calls it a party, to understand.

    Why did they bring Mary back?

    So we can study her a bit more before she returns to her home planet? I can think of no other reason.

    "You'll kill people with your nasty tequila"  that's the line of the season already.

    Funny that Lisa said they didn't leave off on a bad note and then proceeded to read a series of very mean texts that Mary sent her.

    Erm, how much without carne? And beans?

    Note to Carly: You do know that every penny that comes into Kelly's does not go directly into your pocket, right? Right?

    No difference. At Kelly's the price isn't determined by the cost of the ingredients, but by how much Carly feels you owe her for giving you some of her attention.

    I had assumed that Jenna remembered that she had a conflict but didn't remember exactly what it was, which is why she called it an "event." But I also like the theory that she was using "event" as code for "different filming obligation." I also buy the theory that Brynn -- and to a lesser extent, Sai -- has an underlying annoyance that Jenna may have a better contract/higher salary, which explains why she's always comparing herself to Jenna in terms of how Jenna is able to "get away with" things.

    I'm going to offer another theory: Brynn is extremely insecure because she's a pretender and worried about being exposed and this manifests itself as

    1. Acting like certain things are beneath her (the "I would never be caught dead at [redacted] business" from the first episode) in order to sell the persona she wants to adopt for herself;

    2 (a) Fixating on any perceived difference in how she's treated versus how someone else is treated (the underlying fear being, "Am I being treated different because they know I'm not one of them");

    2 (b) Trying to get everyone else to fixate on how someone else is supposedly treated differently so that that person will be the "outsider" so that she isn't playing that role herself, and attention will be deflected away from her so that she's not getting too much scrutiny.

    I've seen articles which claim that she's either the richest of the cast or the second richest after Jenna, but based on what we've seen I find that very suspect. I'm fully prepared to be proven wrong as the season goes on and Brynn demonstrates that she lives a lifestyle on par with her castmates, but as of right now I think that either she's one of those people who is wealthy on paper but not in cash (like how Elizabeth Holmes was considered a billionaire based on her ownership of Tharanos before that house of cards collapsed) or that she's not even wealthy on paper but has managed to bluff her way to this point regardless.

    On every housewife show, there’s always one villan.  Jessel is this shows villan.  Actually, she was very nice on WWHL.  Guess it’s her job to be the Bitch.

    She's sure earning that paycheck then.

    Fascinating how Sasha can hallucinate the exact same clothing that Cody is wearing that day.  Psychic ability?

    Lol, I was coming to post this. I know times are rough, but wardrobe couldn't have given him two T shirts for this episode?

    • Has Erin never hosted people before? Why is she so surprised that they want things like food and heat?
    • Jessel is such an a-hole (while being completely oblivious that she's acting like an a-hole) that I'm halfway convinced that she's been possessed by the spirit of Ramona
    • I'm guessing that Jenna didn't actually have a 6:30 call (because if that was scheduled and you didn't want to disrupt everyone else's sleep, wouldn't you mention that to Erin from the beginning?), but was just using that as an excuse because she was feeling overwhelmed and needed a quiet place to recharge. Still, she shouldn't have tried to sneak out.
