I think that back when JillR was still pursuing the Duggars, she managed to snap a photo of Hunk standing behind JimBob at some fundie event.  I think JB was sitting down. Maybe it was a Duggar appearance somewhere, and I'm sure JillR directed Hunk to walk over and stand behind JB while she got the shot. (Wasn't Hunk wearing a name tag?). She may not have even owned a smartphone then. But however she took the photo she got it printed and slipped it in a frame for the bragging rights. Her pushy ways are well known, and IIRC the Rods even got to park their stinkbus RV on the Duggars' property at least once.

But it's been a few years since JillR became persona non grata after publicizing Jinger's (?) wedding invitation on social media after being told it was to be held in confidence. I suspect the Duggars dumped JillR before she decided they weren't all that great, lol.

Either she's been so busy over-furnishing her expanded home that she overlooked updating her collection of framed photos, or she's fine with leaving JB's picture there so she can lay on the oh-so-Christian smack talk if somebody sees it and. mentions the Duggars.

She really is the gift that keeps on giving. I'm just sorry for her kids.

Jeeves, you're right.  Someone on Reddit gave the link to the original large picture.  Had all the Rods standing behind Meech and JB (and a young Jennifer and Josie).  All the Rods had nametags.  Looks like Meech and JB were signing books.  Weirdly, there was a Ramsey Financial Freedom book displayed on the table also.  Jill must have taken the opportunity to get a picture with just her hubby and JimBob.  Same clothes in both pictures.

My favorite update is the dangling electrical outlet in the "kitchen"...

ETA: Oh! and the lamp on the kitchen table that is the twin to one of the nightstand lamps. Why couldn't she have matching lamps in the bedroom on the nightstands and put the other lamp in the kitchen???

Good eye!  All I can think is because the bedside table is so much shorter on the right, she needed to use the mismatched taller lamp there.  Now it is almost the same height as the lamp on the left.  If she had used the matched lamp, it would have been very noticeable that the tables are nowhere near the same height.

  3. One good thing for me out of the pandemic was it forced me to grow out my gray.  I had been coloring it for at least 15 years. Recently, I mentioned to my hairdresser that I had hesitated going gray because I was afraid it would have a yellowish tinge like my mom's gray hair.  The stylist asked me if my mom had smoked.  Bingo.  I had never thought of that.  I like my gray, and use a purple shampoo to keep it more silver.

  4. There is a five-year minimum sentence, so house arrest/probation in lieu is not possible.

She was salty because she planned to travel there from Franklin TN to attend the sentencing hearing.  Early May is her husband's birthday.

But then she put her lawyer hat on and explained that this is part of the due process for any defendant so she is resigned to it.

  5. Emily D Baker covered this last night.  The defense applied for a 30-day continuance.  She couldn't believe it; as she said, they've known since early February that the sentencing is scheduled for April 5.  But as she continued to read the application to the Court, she saw that the prosecution didn't object, so she thinks the Court will grant the continuance request.  She thinks the Court doesn't want to ruffle the appellate court's feathers.

  6. One more thing.  She says that David is a convert so that makes him automatically lower ranking within their church.  This syncs with what Sadie Carpenter, the leaving eden podcaster said about their dynamic.  Since David won't be accepted within their ranks, it makes Jill try harder.

The OP said her father thinks there was hanky panky pre-wedding with Jill and David.  Because no one can figure out why she married him.

  7. It makes great reading.  The OP really dislikes David.  Here is a question and her reply:

Does David control the home or is it Jill?

Difficult Q.  Jill controls it but the tone changes drastically when David gets home.  It feels very much so like Jill changes from a somewhat "normal" loving mom to a "look at me, husband!  I have perfect obedient children!" Mom when he gets home.  That's when most of the "discipline" happens.

In the Duggar Friends topic there is a discussion about the Rods and their attachment to the KJV Bible.  I have a question for our Bible scholars.  Has anyone read, or does anyone have an opinion on the Lamsa translation.  I have a copy because one of my father's customers, a sweet old Assyrian man, who I liked very much as a child, was a personal friend of Lamsa.  Lamsa apparently was fluent in Aramaic, and he shows some samples of words that look so close, it is very interesting.  Example, "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle" is translated "rope" instead of "camel", and the words look almost identical.  I know his translation has caused a lot of heat and controversy, but I am interested to get some historical perspective, mainly because I received this as a gift.

I'm no scholar, so can't answer to that, but having it be rope makes so much more sense.  Rope vs thread would be the kind of poetic imagery that was commonly used.  Camel makes no sense!

Jeremy WAS at a Ram's playoff game a couple or so of weeks ago in SoFi stadium - he had an Instagram story of it. It must have been the wild card game - Rams vs. Arizona Cardinals. I think tickets were still available for that game days before it, because I got an email about it. And I think you're right that there was no sign of Jinger there with him. If he ends up at the Super Bowl...

That's right - he was at a game.  Pretty sure it was the last regular season game, when the 49ers won in overtime.  I remember he was there because I saw something in his stories.  There was a big deal made in media about how many 49er fans traveled to SoFi stadium.  I thought, ''Good, he was at a game when the Rams lost."  I can't be certain Jinger wasn't there.

Still salty that the 49ers lost Sunday.  I heard a stat that with Kyle Shanahan as coach or offensive coordinator, his teams have had 59 points scored against them in the fourth quarter or overtime, with zero points scored by his team.  That is brutal.

  10. CC Suarez on Youtube debunks mlm promoters.  Her latest video includes Jill!  It starts at about 10:45.

Before she shows Jill shilling Plexus from the car, Chelsea (CC) says:  "Guys, I just said that I'm going to try not to comment on people's makeup or their clothes.  You all sending me this lady is just baiting me and it's rude!  I'm going to shut my mouth now."

So many comments from people saying their worlds have collided with a Fundie and anti-mlm content.

The thumbnail is also hilarious because you can tell it's Jill but CC has exaggerated her features.

  11. According to WOACB, the gas gauge on the plane JD was flying was broken.  He thought he had more fuel.  Abbie and Grace were the passengers on the flight and she no longer wants to fly with him.

Take with a huge Morton salt container, considering the source.  In any case, I would never go up in the air with any of the Duggar pilots.
