  1. I cannot get that 2014 BCA halftime performance video to play. It keeps stopping and saying "unresponsive". I can only find far away shots of it on Youtube.
  2. I don't know why, but I am also fascinated with these "unique" groups and watching the inside look to their lives. Like the shows Sister Wives, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and I used to watch GIrls next door also. If all that didn't warp my mind I don't know what will....LOL! I know most of these reality show "celebrities" are not your normal ladies. I still watch the shows. I guess I wonder if people really live that way, or if it is a facade. I am 48 and from northern Indiana. I am interested in the behind the scenes of the DCC since I was co-captain of our drill team in high school and loved learning and teaching dance routines. I never did make my college team or try for anything else. I do enjoy doing dance aerobics, jazzercise or anything similar to that. It is fun and doesn't feel like a work out. I am also a recent breast cancer survivor and dance fitness is helping me get my strength back.
  3. Too funny!!! And yes, I didn't know they had a technique coach either. Don't they understand we want to know all about the team? LOL
  4. Thank you for that, I was also wondering why all the winners were from Texas. That does make sense that other states would not be as interested in appearing at a Cowboys game.
  5. I think that was the most lackluster team "reveal" they have ever had. Kelli usually finds a fun way to announce they have made the team, but not this year. It just seemed they couldn't make up their minds this season and were out of time to decide. Caila and Breelan are still not my favorites, hopefully they will do well. Ashley is very cute, but I agree her style is not exactly DCC style yet. I hope she is not a one year wonder. Loved the ending of the show when they showed all 10 rookies. At the Meet the Team event I did see Lacey, Erica and Melissa in show group. Not sure if other rookies made that. I am sure there are a few rivalries and girls that don't get along well. It does seem like a sorority atmosphere. Overall they seem to have wonderful experiences together.
  6. I was replaying the episode and at one point they showed a close-up of Vivian and she frowned and moved her head back and forth like she was dodging a bee or talking to herself. That was strange, I wonder why they showed that. I used to like her last year, but not this time around. Maybe it is the editing, or just seeing more of her is not a good thing.
  7. I think the producers finally listened to us, we wanted to see more dancing and get to know the other TCC that we hadn't seen yet. Hello Victoria! That was a very interesting clip in this week's show. I would also like to see one on Mary, Lacey, etc. But at least it is progress. Glad to see Vivian go. If everyone who felt they "deserved" a spot on the team, got on the team, they would have 500 dancers...Haha! I am still not sold on Caila and Breelan. Either they have connections with someone, or they just haven't shown us their best dance clips on the episodes so far.
  8. I hope they keep Alexandra, even though as Judy said before - she has bad feet. Her feet just seem to turn the wrong way at times. I was watching previous seasons on CMT and saw Jackie Bob in training camp and she had struggles also. Just look how far Jackie Bob has come, she became one of the strongest DCC ever. I believe Alexandra can be just as great. I have only seen the online version of this episode (since someone in my family cancelled the DVR from recording it by mistake...AHHHH - that made me crazy. LOL!) but when I saw side by side comparison of Vivian in the uniform last year and this time, I sure didn't see much difference in her thighs. Wasn't that the main issue last season? The grandma comment the former DCC made about Chandler was cruel. Chandler must be so embarrassed seeing that playback. And I agree that Melissa R. has not brought added value like I thought she might have. I can't stand the editing of the meetings in Kelli's office. They didn't explain why the vets came in with them. They must still pair a TCC with a vet like in past seasons, but the editing never showed them waiting with them in the studio each week as in past seasons. They chop up the footage so much it is frustrating. If they would just take some tips from us since we know best. Hee hee!
  9. Do you think that Melissa would have chosen Christina to be in her private dance help session, except she must have known she was on the chopping block? That could explain the sudden "appearance" of Chandler. Melissa seemed to be rooting for Christina and she was one who could have really used the mentoring session.. Yes, I agree I would rather see more of the rookies instead of promos for Belk, etc. In order to figure out who the rookie candidates are I am constantly replaying the moments on my DVR when the girls are sitting on the floor waiting for their name to be called into Kelli's office. I am pushing the back up button and then play and pause then cursing because I paused it just half a second too late....AHHHH! So frustrating. I am sure my family thinks I have lost my mind. I also think the vets should get makeovers as well. Something doesn't set well with me when I see Loren. It just seems like she is thinking about doing really terrible things while smiling on the outside. Creepy.
  10. MrsEVH, yes Hannah was cut for weight. They told her they wouldn't have enough time for her to loose it. Which is odd since they are giving the others time and even offered a special prepared food/meal program for Veronica to go on right away. Probably as mentioned here, Hannah is being made an example to other vets that yes they are in risk of being cut. Hannah took the news gracefully. She kept smiling and seemed kind of embarrassed was all. The editing is just crazy. They cut back and forth too quickly when showing practices. We can't see enough of the vets performing really to see who is weak or having issues. At the beginning of the episode I saw Nicole B. with her belly pushed out again. She must just stand that way and not have a weight issue since they didn't call her into the office. They also didn't show her at the uniform fitting that I saw. What was with Kelly commenting that Megan had a "thutt"? (not enough curve to distinguish her butt from her thighs) That was not right! She is lean and muscular. I would kill to have her body. Sorry to see her go. Hopefully she can get back on the Tampa Bay Bucs squad in the future.
  11. I am so glad you brought up about the uniform Kellyann3! I completely agree. It is very outdated. You hate to mention it though since it seems to be coveted by so many people. I hope they have a redesign soon. I love the uniforms of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers cheerleaders and Miami Dolphins cheerleaders as well. They change them often and come up with very flattering and fun designs.
  12. I was surprised they didn't call in more veterans about weight issues. They could have brought them all in at once like they did last season. However since Chelsea spoke out against that last season, they may have wanted to avoid that whole situation from happening again. They do have crazy expectations for the girls being able to fit into their uniform. Did anyone else notice Nicole Bulcher's belly sticking way out in this episode? It was shown a couple times. First at around 19 minutes in (on my DVR), if you pause right after they show rookie Ashley's face, you will see a camera angle of many girls torsos. I believe it is Nicole, she has the only tight curl hairdo on the team, right? Her belly is pushed way out. Maybe it was just a bad angle or two torsos appeared as one, but it was bad. Also in a later scene when they are walking arm in arm down the floor doing kicks, she also appears heavier than others. Could it be my expectations for their figure are also too extreme? Maybe I have seen this show too many times.
