  1. I’m surprised Piper and Paul are competing this season, I thought for sure they would retire. I think they’ll have a hard time beating the Italians, I am very interested in what Madi & Evan do this season, they’re definitely the top Montreal team.

Dave of TSL is saying Green/Parsons are training with Tanith & Charlie now, that’s pretty spicy.

I’m very glad Peng/Jin are sticking around but I’m still hoping there are some young Chinese teams in the wings somewhere, it’s like their pairs program has fallen off a cliff.

  2. Were they suppose to eliminate 1 or 2, do we know? Because I, too, can’t believe they couldn’t agree to save Alexis. I can understand if they were only suppose to eliminate one and they can’t agree so presumably they’ll eliminate two next week.

Luther Brown’s hip hop was the only routine I didn’t love this week, all the others were good but Carter’s hip hop and Alexis’s jazz were my favorites.

Loved the group routine even though Beau and Essence were merely after thoughts in it.

So big Kudos to Comfort, still killing it as an all star at 30. Despite having not seen most of the seasons after season 7, I knew all of the all stars except the hip hop guy that won season 16 and Ezra. The guy that choreographed Carter’s hip hop was a choreographer on Come Dance with Me like Robert. He had to step in one week when a contestant’s dad got injured and he was awesome!

  3. Lots of thoughts:

Why have Carter and Alexis had contemporary twice in four weeks? No's 90s hip-hop, I'm pissed.

I have zero issue with Waverly going home, I just don't think he's been very strong. I totally understand where everyone is coming from with Beau, his solo was terrible, but most of the solos were meh for me. I only liked Essence, Carter, and Alexis.

I thought most of these routines were a miss this week, what a waste of a good theme. What on earth did they put on Anna, terrible costume. I thought the choreography was weak, too.  I don't want to see any of the girls go but I'm also not attached to any of them.

Robert was a gem as a choreographer on Come Dance With Me on CBS this year. No surprise his routine was the standout.

It was mostly commentary free but I do remember getting some commentary. They had Ted and they had those two guys who were insulting Meghan Duhamel. I think Ted replaced them after that incident. It's all kind of blurring together for me now but I'm pretty sure that happened on Peacock.

I didn’t use Peacock for Worlds, I watched the world feed with a VPN, I was so pissed when Peacock took all their skating down after the Olympics with no warning and no explanation.

I never thought we’d see her on TV again either… and yes, she’s absolutely stunning.

Pretty sure she’s a pageant girl.

Thoroughly enjoyed the first episode, I only know survivor people so I’m annoyed at all the Love Island people taking all the confessionals 😂

I’m glad they’re changing up partnerships each week, that should be fun. Some of people seem super out of their element, like  the Aska chick, but she pulled through. Honey, leave the fake eyelashes at home.

I don’t understand Eddie’s death on several levels. Why did he lead them away from the trailer? Did he realize they maybe would follow him through the rip and get Dustin and be loose on the world?

    I hadn’t thought of that angle 🤔that’s a good theory…

  7. Tonight is one of those nights I would’ve preferred both guys go home. I thought all the girls killed it. I would’ve sent Carter home over Thiago but they both have the same problem, they don’t really connect with their partners. I think outside of Keaton the guys are WEAK. Poor Ralyn, probably wishes she hadn’t went on and on about a crush on Keaton, who still has to be the odds on favorite to win.

I think the audience voting would’ve worked better if they either did:

    1. What they did in season 1 where the judges pick the bottom and then the studio audience could vote on who to save.
    2. They had the audience rank the dancers and use a point system.

I think either of those would’ve been far more effective.

And geez, the judging was really all over the place tonight. I don’t mind dissension, it’s not interesting when they just echo each other but Jojo was varying quite wildly from the other two.

  8. I think Kennedy and Justin deserved the win, they were strong all competition. I didn’t love having a repeat dance instead of two new ones. If they were going to repeat a dance, they should’ve had to repeat their lowest scoring routine and try to improve it.

All in all, I really enjoyed the show and I hope they bring it back with some tweaks. I haven’t looked at ratings but based on the lack of buzz, I don’t expect it to be back. But if it does what tweaks what want to see?

I like the show out but I’d still like to see some choreographed solos instead.
I’d like to see the kids do a group routine every week.

Everything else I pretty much liked, the choreographers, the themes, the host, even the judges.

  9. I would've preferred  Waverly and Jordan have gone, I don't find either one of them interesting and their routine was by far my least favorite. I agree that Waverly is probably getting through on his Julliard training and I think Jordan is getting by because she was a Rockette.

One thing I am looking forward to seeing is that extra jump that the male partner will do (a la Charlie White). Isn't it going to be required?

Either partner can do it but yes it’s required for the free dance.

I don’t want a judge whose expertise is “yeah, you were on the beat and you looked good.” I can do that much.

You have way more confidence in her than I do, I don’t even expect her to know if someone is on the beat.

I do not miss Mary or Nigel so I’m cool with them moving on, but I cannot believe they couldn’t get a choreographer/former contestant/dwts pro, hell I’d take a dance teacher from a local studio. Why not return to S1-S4 format when they had a rotating third judge? There has to be tons of people begging to a chance and some exposure and we get Leah Remini. I’m just so confused.

  12. Just watched the latest episode and Trisha was the harsh judge at the beginning and she was the first to give out a 10. I thought Conner and Nadya were the last obvious team to go home, next week should definitely be interesting. I feel like both Camryn?/Adriana and Mia?/Crystal (I still don’t know everyone’s names) have been consistently good the entire competition but they haven’t had a real standout routine like the other teams have so this week will really be tough.

Loved the Argentine tango and the mime routine this week. I’m really hoping at some point they dance twice. And I still want to see a group routine with the kids.

  13. I agree that I don’t love the newer Challengers on All-Stars. I’m surprised they can’t get more old heads, maybe once they have Challenge USA, they’ll have more people to pull from. I’m so sick of the “Treehouse” can Jonna, Nia, Beth, and Kellyanne please get it together?

  14. I’m really enjoying this show. I’ve never heard of the two judges other than Jenna Dewan, or the host. I’d love to see the kids dance together at some point in a group number. They had one for the parents but not again. Even the show out is fun (too short), I’d also like to see some choreographed solos.

Interesting that he hasn't talked to Rafe since the Olympics.

That is strange considering he was planning to go to Worlds.
