Looks like Dec. 1-7 on that page, so maybe a week delay?

Oh, sure, if I'm thankful for anything this holiday season, it's a murderous moobster who can't find his towels, his unrecognizable douchebag son and a talking tree. Merry Christmas!

  2. Jason's gotta be 40 minimum at this point.

For some reason I recall that when OG James Franco Franco had his shrine of creepy obsessive Jason clippings pinned up in his lair, there was something (a mug shot, perhaps?) that showed Jason's birthdate as being in 1969.

Of course, I remember Jason as a newborn onscreen in 1981, but yeah, soaps.

  3. If ABC was smart (heh, just cracked myself up!) they would look at talent from Web soap operas. That's where Martha Byrne went after leaving ATWT. Who does that Winterthorne series that Kirsten Storm is on? Just saying, there are other avenues they could explore for BTS talent instead of recycling thru all the same people who fucked up their last shows and got fired.

I've always thought they should seek out the Prospect Park AMC/OLTL writers.  They were good.

  4. Bonus points if they let the actors write their thought bubbles.

And I just got a little giddy at the hilarity that would ensue if they let BryDog write his own thought bubbles.

    Wouldn't they be blank, though?

  5. I need the scrolling text though! that would make all this hilarious, at least. "Sorry, we were too lazy to think up another reason", "Please just accept Helena as an explanation" , "Look, don't blame us, Tony Geary demanded this" etc etc.

It could be like "Pop-Up Videos."  Little bubbles by the characters' heads.  "Yeah, we know this makes no fucking sense that he would actually say this dialogue.  Just go with it."

  6. we don't know any of that, because she hasn't had an opportunity to do any of that. Since she told her boss the morning after that she slept with Dante, I'm willing to bet she'd get a bit talkative about the baby-making process.

Plus she told Dillon how she wished she could have Dante's baby so she could be tied to him forever.

  7. I anticipate rage blackouts from some of you (in addition to the bi-polar poor storytelling) re: Epiphany to Sonny:  "I've never seen you hurt any of your children."  Was she not working the night/weeks Dante was in the hospital after getting shot in the chest, or when Patrick was operating on Michael's brain?! UGH.

She was working the day Dante was shot -- I remember there was a hilarious scene where she dropped a bedpan or something on the floor when she learned that Dante was yet another of Sonny's umpteen children.

  8. I still have a dubbel zout rage blackout whenever I try to watch this show on Hulu and see them use Roger Howarth -- and an unflattering gif of him at that -- as the bumper for the show. Rage!!

At least they finally changed it to a Franco shot of him. It was still a shot of freaking Todd Manning up until a couple of months ago.

  9. It's interesting that Valerie is just now, six months after she showed up, finally getting a personality that is more than Weepy McSobberson with the dead mom. It would have been far more interesting if she'd actually had that at the time Dante slept with her.

  10. I think Darby was actually a temporary fill-in while Annie was off doing something else, and then Annie later came back. I could be wrong, but I kind of recall that on Darby's first day, she had a sex scene with Sonny on his desk in his office (Annie's Amelia hadn't had sex with him prior to that point, so I remember thinking that it was strange that it had worked out that way).

  11. I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but...totally on Nina's side.  She's not obligated to take care of the illegitimate daughter her husband sired while married to her nor buy that apartment given her history there (revenge lists, faking paralysis, attempting rape, etc.) nor do Kiki and Nina have to get along given their history just to placate a SERIAL KILLER.

This push on Franco/Nina/Kiki as a family guh-rosses me out.

They have to buy that apartment so Frank can recycle that set!

  12. No, I meant the west coast. I know NYC got the show, but I was thinking maybe something was pre-empted because of him during the west coast airings.

Here in L.A., a couple of times during his visit we had 15 or 20-minute chunks preempted in the middle of the show depending on what he was doing at the time, but never a full preemption.
