New summer promo. Liz is immature and jealous re: Britt, Maxie says she's getting married (NO!), and there's a quick glimpse of Robin, although I can't tell if that's old or new footage (there's a bunch of old stuff in there).
It's new Robin footage, as her hair is KMc's new, shorter cut.

Memo to Ron: Your attempt to suddenly reinvent Cancosore as some kind of comedic Nick and Nora Charles mystery-solving duo isn't going to make me find them any less repulsive, especially considering RoHo's continuing insistence on portraying his character like a developmentally challenged teenage boy and Cujo, well, still being Pod Cujo, although with her signature screech intact.

Yeah, they have a link to a clip on the ABC site of "classic Sonny/Carly moments" and then it asks under that, "Which Carly is your favorite?" Yeah, it's probably a bit insensitive, but since I'm a bitch who would gladly take either SJB (preferably) or TB back in a heartbeat, I guess it didn't bother me that much, LOL.They realky put that on the GH fb page? Seriously? Wow...kind of a slap in the face to the current Carly, imo.

I hope the next time LW finds out at the last minute SJB and/or TB are coming back, its because she's been fired and replaced.
It's kind of interesting that the GH Facebook account currently has a post up asking people to name which Carly is their favorite.

LW is aware if the Cranco backlash but thinks viewers should move forward and be positive and accept the story as it unfolds. She admits the difficulty viewers have accepting the couple is because no love story is told, they just fell into bed.
Sorry, LW, but I'm just not ever going to be positive or accept this craptacular excuse for a story/romance. No way am I drinking Cartini's Kool-Aid on this one, and the more they try to force the issue, the more vehemently resistant I am about it. It's insulting to me as a viewer. Show fucked up with the Franco/Cancosore stuff, pure and simple, and Cartini's doubling down on the issue and their stubborn refusal to admit they made a gigantic mistake makes me want to punch a wall.

I don't want the show to end at all -- it's been a part of my life for far too long. But I do wish that the overrated and destructive Cartini would be kicked to the curb. Sadly, with the state of soaps these days I don't foresee ever getting that (and since the same people always get fired/rehired again with no new blood ever being brought in, there's no guarantee of anyone else doing a better job). I expect Cartini to be crapping all over the show until the lights are turned off, and that's depressing and makes it harder and harder for me to watch.

I want Sonny to truly pay for something, anything, in a way that actually has long-term ramifications -- not just going off his meds and acting like a psychotic child for a couple of weeks while his family coddles him and tries to get him to take his meds again. I'll take jail, being permanently disowned by Michael, anything. Even if he just went to jail for a few months and somehow got out on a technicality, that would probably go such a long way toward audience goodwill. It's comical that doctors such as Steven Lars Webber and Matt Hunter are in jail, yet bottom feeder Sonny skates every single time. I don't care one whit if he has claustrophobia -- that would actually make the story more compelling.
I want Franco to be GONE. He serves absolutely no purpose other than holding Carly's purse, and the canvas would be so improved without his presence (especially since the cast could use a bit of a thinning out in general).

I've stayed with this show out of habit for decades, but I'm rapidly inching closer to the barge than ever.
I'm not here for the wasted potential of AJ and yet another dead Q, on the anniversary show, no less, and at the hands of that pond scum, Sonny. I'm so angry, and I'm starting to wonder exactly I am watching a show that is so poorly written that it makes me so angry.
I'm not here for Sonny the midget moobster getting away with shooting yet another unarmed man in the chest, and acting like he is superior to ANY other form of human life on the planet when he is the. lowest.
I'm not here for Roger Howarth, an actor I've always greatly admired, piling on the ham and cheese to cringeworthy levels and wasted on an aimless, useless and worthless character who, as a recast, has virtually nothing to do with the original concept of the character and just can't be salvaged no matter what changed parentage/brain tumor crap RC piles onto his story. Add surgically attaching him to the ass of Laura Wright's horrendous Carly (just as was done with his previous incarnation, Ron's distorted version of Todd Manning), and I officially can't enjoy him on any level whatsoever.
I'm not here for hours of screen time being spent on the death of some comatose woman I've never seen before in my life, who happened to once be married to some guy who is exactly like John McBain in a lab coat, being avenged by some shirtless guy with the acting ability of a block of wood.
I think the only thing keeping me watching at this point is loyalty to those actors whose performances I do enjoy (i.e., DZ, Finola, JT, NLG). I hated Guza, but even he never pissed me off this much.
