  1. I see how and why everything is going the way they are...David's return, Victoria and Charlotte turning the tables on Emily...but this storyline is very frustrating to watch. Victoria is not entitled to Revenge because she was never the one at a deficit. Emily's revenge was supposed to even the score. Victoria's actions now are the ones that will perpetuate the "cycle" that she was begging Emily to stop in the premiere. I hope David will run into Nolan at some point (ASAP!) so he can fill him in on everything that has happened. Finally, I am frankly tired of hearing Emily saying she has no one, she is alone, everyone she loves is dead...SHE HAS NOLAN. Nolan who values her life over his own. I don't know what else he can do to actually count as something/someone to Emily. And although I don't ride the ship, she has JACK too. Two extremely loyal, caring friends are worth way more than spoiled, selfish family members (yes Charlotte, I am looking at you).
  2. Anna talked about this on Afterbuzz and basically said the same. They commented on how cute Sadie's dance was, but it wasn't really a VW. I suspect Mark and some of the other pros took full advantage knowing Len would be away this past week so they were less likely to get called out on things like that. I disagree and I also disagreed with the Afterbuzz panel when they brought this up. I thought Sadie and Mark's Viennese Waltz was the best that night in balancing a good amount of technical content with creativity in portraying their movie. There was quite a bit of waltzing in both closed (at least 3 sections had dancing in ballroom hold) and open positions, port de bras, fleckrl (near the end where they are rotating in one spot), and some side-by-side processions you typically see in many V Waltzes.
  3. Sadie and Bethany have started "The Badie Show" on YouTube, talking about behind the scenes at DWTS:
  4. I don't watch Duck Dynasty, but I thought it was pretty obvious that the whole segment was a joke, especially with Willie finally approving of Sadie's robe at the end. LOL
  5. First sneak peek into Sadie and Mark's rehearsals! http://www.knoe.com/story/26492489/from-duck-calls-to-dancing-with-the-stars
  6. Sadie looks like a real cutie! Love her Southern accent too LOL Some Instagrams from Team Quack Attack: http://t.co/bSbTxVL5Hs http://instagram.com/p/ssc7GfzPDl/

  8. No one has mentioned...THERE WASN'T A SINGLE BALLROOM ROUTINE in the performance finale!!!!! :( So the show wants to make it THAT obvious that it's no longer about versatility anymore? I enjoyed all of the dancing, but really, Ricky gets to do Afro-Jazz, Jazz, and Contemporary and Jessica gets to do Broadway, Jazz, Contemporary? And while it's nice to have tap routines for a change and for Zack and Valerie to get to show off their style (since they don't get to all season), do tap dancers tapping well prove anything?
  9. Last season they had the top 6 each dance with the All Stars plus they put the contestants back into pairs, so that's nine dances plus solos. If they don't do that, then maybe they will have the mini group dances (one for the boys and one for the girls). If the Top 6 are paired up with each other as well, who do you think/who would you all like to see paired?
  10. Comfort was, and continues to be a fabulous hip hop dancer. Unfortunately, during her season, she wasn't a particularly versatile dancer, and I doubt that has changed since, which is why it puzzles me when from time to time people talk about her "growth." I think Comfort is loved now because we always see her do what she is best at doing (and I think that goes for all of the All-Stars). Will the contestants be dancing with each other as well as with All-Stars? Because if it is just All-Stars, there would only be six routines (and six 45-second solos) for a 2-hour show.
  11. I don't know why the judges (even Mary!) completely ignore Ryan every single time. What is their problem with him? The whole asking-people-to-vote-for-Ashleigh thing back in Season 6? Why would they even care about that? And why ask him back as an All-Star if they really don't care for him?
  12. This was a good episode. I loved almost every routine (although it helped that most of the contestants were in their own style). I love seeing well-done ballroom, so I was especially looking forward this week to seeing our remaining official ballroom dancer (Tanisha) and our secret ballroom dancer (Rudy) in their routines. (Ironically, it looks like these 2 got their dancer labels backwards in their partnership. LOL) Tanisha brings a maturity that I really appreciate and she matched really well with Ryan (who the judges completely glossed over yet again in their commentary). Loved her solo at the beginning (and her dress!) Whether or not one likes his personality or his performance style, Rudy definitely put his Latin ballroom training on full display and did it with a lot confidence and ease. It was kind of weird to hear Mary pretend that he got the style "in such a short time;" none of the other male contestants left would have danced that cha cha like Rudy did because they simply haven't had the training.
