  1. Derrick's lucky as hell he isn't playing, as pissy as he'll end up about it. I don't think Frankie would put him up as a replacement nom and if Derrick had won it, he would've been screwed using it or not using it. EIther way would've blown up his game.
  2. I want Donny to indicate either on the feeds or in a DR on Sunday that he thought Christine threw it. Christine was in the bathroom talking to Zach (I think, but I saw her talking to someone) about how "they" told her not to hand Caleb any bones and the feeds cut to fish. I imagine "they" means production. I want Victoria out this week if only because it will practically ensure the return of either Hayden or Nicole. If anyone else gets the boot I think Derrick could reel them right back into his little puppet cult.
  3. Donny lives for another week! Yay! And the dishes are being done for once too. Hell hath frozen over.
  4. That's where I was going with my post, though my frustration with Derrick running the game came through. I think it makes more sense on this point to be nominated than not at this point in the game because if you win BotB you can't be backdoored, and if you lose, you're still guaranteed to play veto. The fact that the losing HoH can end up backdoored is the one massive oversight of the dual HoH twist. That rule lead to a boring season and to two of the most catastrophic HoH weeks this season when it was Donny and Nicole - both were too afraid to nominate all the guys or work together in a way that allowed for Donny/Nicole to go after who they really wanted to since they didn't trust each other - then Nicole and Christine where Christine sent Nicole home, the only player left in house that would have had her back for whatever reason. Really, the losing HoH should've remained immune for the week, because then people wouldn't have been as freaked out about losing BotB. I really think if Grodner wanted to protect the "stronger players" who get booted early on because of the veto structure - and it's understandable from a business standpoint why production would want that if they think those players are entertaining - then there were better options to providing the opportunity to protect those players than this BotB nonsense: another separate immunity challenge, more players in the veto competitions, etc.
  5. Derrick is saying that they should draw straws as to who will go up on the block for those other three spots since he's covering Victoria this week. Like... I like Donny, I don't want to see him ganged up on, but really, the rest of the alliance needs to tell Derrick "go fuck yourself, I didn't come here to draw straws because you're too much of a wimp to make a decision. Put Victoria up with Donny or we'll be after you next week." Why are these people so fucking blind to this?! ETA: I feel like watching Derrick lead the detonators is like watching a bizzaro version of S6 where Maggie's alliance decimated Janelle's side early on and yet... they still can't see the forest for the trees.
  6. Typically, no one should really volunteer to be nominated so as useless as Cody has been, I can't blame him; I'm just waiting for the fallout when it happens. However, with the immunity granted by BotB, it theoretically makes more sense to be nominated than it even does to be HoH. I think if Zach really plans to throw BotB so Donny can remain on the block, then he's a fool. I'm hoping that Zach is outright lying about throwing BotB because he realizes it would be better to be on the block with Donny because Donny is only one in the house who truthfully has no incentive to throw the competition. I would be more suspicious of my place in the pecking order if I were in the detonators and I was going up against another member instead of Donny or Victoria. But, again, these people are fucking idiots.
  7. Hahaha, Caleb and Frankie said Cody should go up with Christine because he hasn't been on the block before. Let's see how Cody handles that one when it gets back to him!
  8. The problem I'm having is that I can't predict what anyone will do because most of them are terrible at the act of thinking logically. Eric Stein from BB8 said in an interview recently (I am paraphrasing a bit here) that it's harder to work with bad players than smart players because if you're relatively smart, you can suss out what the most logical options for someone else's game and you'll be able to predict their moves because they, like you, are operating logically. Stupid players don't do this. Stupid players are threats because they think flashy moves are awesome (and attention grabbing) and anyone with the ability to charm a stupid player will get these stupid players to do a "big move" which will propel the manipulator's game further and completely end the stupid person's game, if they are successful. Examples: Derrick getting Christine ti nominate Nicole this week, Brittany getting Devin to take her off of the block (I think that was one a pretty underrated move, intentional or not). I think Big Brother could benefit from an under 30 vs. over 30 season, kind of like Survivor had. I think that the show casts young players who end up barely playing and they end up just crossing their fingers hoping not to get booted.
  9. I think that if Zach goes up as a nominee on either side, he'll go absolutely ballistic. That should be enjoyable. The noms will likely be Donny/Victoria for Frankie, Zach/Caleb for Derrick.
  10. Rachel. Providing no game insight or substance to Big Brother since 2010. I'd say Derrick's fucked and will be exposed during his HoH but the HGs, sans Donny, are stupid.
  11. Don't you know? Nicole is trying to take the food out of his daughter's mouth!
  12. I felt the same at first but there have been other competitions where the info is dispersed in the middle of the night, even on seasons where the HGs aren't consistently up at all hours of the night. If Donny loses this HoH, it's his own fault.
  13. That makes her a vindictive, gossipy asshole. Not a bully.
  14. How is Christine a bully exactly? I don't like her, but the "bully" label seems inaccurate. "Dimwitted ass" might be a better moniker.
  15. Oh Donny, you're actually making sense. BotB could really last until the last 6 are in the house, as the dethroned HoH would be available to replace a vetoed nominee. But don't give production ideas!
  16. Didn't the HGs in previous seasons have to be up by a certain time? I would think that TPTB would want the hamsters up by at least 11AM-12PM EST.
  17. I read somewhere that Donny promised Derrick that he would put up whomever Derrick wanted up if Donny won HoH after this week and Derrick told him not to worry about it. At first I was like "DONNY WUT ARE YOU DOING?!" but after thinking about it, I would love it only if Donny said in his nomination speech "These are the people Derrick wanted me to put on the block and I told him I would do it since he saved me" and maybe finally causing people to freak the fuck out re: Derrick.
  18. Christine's an ass, but she's not on the level that Gina Marie, Amanda, Aaryn, and Jeremy were last year. Hell, Frankie's a lot worse than Christine IMO. I cannot believe that Derrick and Cody walked away from the Jocasta boot completely unscathed. Derrick is lucky everyone in the house have massive flaws in their ability to play this game. He's not a bad player at all, but the Zach save is not a move he should have gotten away with.
  19. Christine is one of the worst and most oblivious players I've seen in a long time. And honestly, if Derrick is smart enough, he'll keep Nicole over Donny because Christine putting Nicole up squashes any chance of Christine winning or working with anyone else. It sounding lately like Donny would definitely go after Derrick. I don't think Nicole would target Derrick unless Hayden came back, especially if she won HoH this week. She'd immediately go after Christine/Frankie again.
  20. Thank goodness Donny not only sees through Derrick but is communicating it to Nicole, who needed to hear it. I don't know what she's going to do with this information, but Donny's hit the nail on the head: he's royally screwed at the moment and there's no longer a point to keeping his own suspicions about Derrick/Cody to himself. At least least now we do have a little potential if Donny or Hayden return to the game to give Derrick/Cody a tiny challenge. *sigh* Maybe Nicole can stumble into fracturing the house a little bit more if she takes Donny seriously.
  21. Derrick just said that the BotB might have been made potentially easier for Frankie because he had to work alone which allowed him to figure out how to move about easier since Caleb sat out. Gee, a competition like that just now, first time Frankie is on the block. Go figure. Ugh.
  22. Well, at least Derrick isn't buying Frankie's story 100%. Derrick's meh to me, I don't like him, don't hate him either, but he's the only one who saw through that conversation (if only because Derrick possibly stood there thinking "holy shit, I really can't come clean about my job before I leave the house now!") However, if Derrick can get Frankie out next week, I won't be mad.
  23. Oh Frankie, this is really slimy, even for Big Brother. He sounds like he's on the verge of tears admitting he's a Youtuber and brother to Ariana Grande. He's totally highlighting a pair of meaningless lies to deflect from what Zach/Cody were mad about. Wow.
  24. The best play to have "kept the numbers" would have been to get Caleb/Zach/Derrick/Cody all nominated, making two of those four immune after the BotB and then getting Donny backdoored. But apparently, they're no longer interested in keeping the numbers after figuring math out 48 hours ago. Let's see how long this lasts. As a viewer I'm thrilled with the nominations. I would've liked Derrick and Cody up, but apparently that's just not going to happen. Either of Caleb or Frankie going is fine with me. If Nicole really wants a shot to go further and Caleb does throw BotB, she should try to get Cody backdoored if one of Caleb/Frankie get vetoed. He'd have the votes to stay (the only way Cody leaves is if he's up against Derrick), but if Cody went on the block he'd unravel and might expose Derrick's game. She needs to leave Christine alone, I think Christine has an idea that she's being played by Cody/Derrick based on that conversation with Nicole last night, but there's not a lot of wiggle room for Christine right now; she's very lucky she won HoH alongside Nicole.
  25. I imagine Christine will put up Donny and Victoria, but who will Nicole nominate? I'd like to think she would definitely put up a combo of Frankie/Zach/Cody, outside chance of Caleb. Derrick is likely safe unless there is some massive bus throwing, which Cody is very capable of doing. I'm having a hard time getting a read on Christine's true motives. Her DRs on the show indicate she has wanted to take a swing at Zach and in tonight's post-DE conversation Nicole, Christine seemed genuine in feeling like she was manipulated by others in the house but she was likely covering her ass with Nicole. I think Christine's best move might be to put Zach/Caleb up to win BotB and kiss Nicole's ass for the rest of the week. And if Z/Caleb end up losing BotB... one of them goes. Kind of a win-win.
