Deanna's Sex, Lies, and Videotape leave her with one dim witted son. Nice utopia you got there, pinko.

Since National Lampoon's Mid-Atlantic Vacation came about thanks to Eugene's (Eddie's?) golden ticket to Washingtonworld, Rick Grimeswold could show the mullet his gratitude with a heartfelt throttling next week.

"You have to remember that as far as Carl knows every girl who reaches 12 has died so far. One minute with a live one is like a miracle." When Carl was a child, he spake as a child, he understood as a child, he thought as a child : but when he became a man, he put away childish things...stabbed Abe and took Rosita like a Viking.

A minute in tree trunk heaven is all it takes for Carl to drop his allegiance to CDB?!

Was Aiden confessing to abandoning a fellow ASZer whom he later attempted to avenge by beating a dead hors--walker? I'll play PeePants advocate. There is a kernal of truth in his pleas to Deanna since Rick has no ostensible qualms over staging a violent coup. Sure he lacks the will go the Dale route, but Rick has been a duplicate of Shane for awhile now.
  6. Why Saul turns on Mike: Remember in BB when Mike presses for Jesse's whereabouts and Saul's reaction?
  7. I wouldn't say Mike took on WW. Held him at arm's length--sure. Maybe Mike's parking attendant job is an attempt to be a law-abiding citizen for his granddaughter to know, and not some angle into Alberqurque's underworld. If so, his infallibility may not be assured.
  8. "But a police interview room should be brightly lit, not dark as a dungeon." I take it to be noir-like nod, an interrogation under the hot lamp. Although it was probably just a lapse in production.
  9. No outrage about a hairless cat so traumatized that it freely urinates in the elevator? Doesn't anyone feel for the bedbugs in the carpeting, beside the itching each morning?
  10. Shouldn't Kaylee have been five years younger than Breaking? Was that comedian Joe DeRosa playing veterinarian/pill mill proprietor? A good episode, but I'm concerned that the show's viewers will depart if things don't pick up soon.
  11. Some random thoughts: If only the children of Woodbury could see Michonne now. Was Eugene's mullet a casualty of the storm?

I will miss Beth--and not just for the shallow reasons. It was an interesting wrinkle, her character's emotional detachment introduced with her boyfriend's death, which was called back tonight with the no-tears vigil at Carol's bedside.

Carol's same day surgery was a success, but some viewers' patience may have died.

Young female characters like Maggie, Tara, et cetera?
  15. Ugh, shades of the Mich./Guv brawl. It might as well be a western saloon scene.

Noah needs to die for forgetting that limp until the end.

Carol's gonna need a whole hardware aisle of screws and brackets to hold her bones together, not to mention a year to recover from that.

Beth can bore holes into me with her eyes, I wouldn't complain on the off chance Emily Kinney might see something redeemable in me--other than my staggering masculine allure and unimaginable successs... Sing on! Sing on, my flaxen songbird, before the time when I too must stare at Lizzie's flowers. What does irk me is the possibility of artless torch-passing from Carol to Beth. Where else does Carol's character have to go from here on but to die? A romance would seem outright pandering to the fan faction who buzzed about its possibilty since the Sophia days. I'd dislike for Carol to meet an ignoble demise but would respect that writing decision for its faithfulness to the premise that these characters are still at the mercy of chance.
  19. Because of the the callback to withering Jim, bitten in season 1, maybe Rick's shovel work was a nod to Jim's prescience, when he unsettled Shane and others by inexplicably digging several graves.
  20. Clutching the sword, Michonne didn't roll her eyes back into her head and intone, "There can be only one," so this isn't The Quickening.
  21. "Who Bart ?????" Bart or Bert, I forget what Gareth called the nihilistic Terminite in the baseball hat whom Tyreese tenderized in the cabin while Carol plucked at the Terminus morsels.
  22. Tonight we mourn the loss of a truly compelling character. Bart, you were taken from us far too soon. But seriously, I had hoped Gareth would be a more worthy adversary. Has the fine art of villainous duplicity been lost in the post apocalypse? Gabe had better be planting some seeds of dissension among these avenging angels soon.
  23. Roburnt marinated his leg in tears for his dinner guests. How considerate!
  24. They should make a papoose out of Eugene's mullet to keep little Judith swaddled tight and quiet, otherwise she'll be the Z-magnet Carl was back in the Lori days.
