Well, Valley Ranch is air conditined, and AT&T Stadium is air conditioned. So they usually have rehearsal and performances in a temperature and humidity controlled environment. Most show group appearances are indoors, too. I personally felt for Kinzie. Even when I was in good shape, outdoor exertion in mid July was never something I could do because of asthma and being warm-natured.

I just don't understand why they aren't allowed to perform anymore. Their repertoire seems like it's innocent enough for military members if it's allowed on TV.

That's definitely Melissa. I did notice a few times where she was behind a few seconds on some of her arm motions. I wouldn't hold it against her, though, because it looks like it was WINDY that day and their hair kept blowing into their faces. She probably got temporarily disoriented.

It appears that the twerker was Angela. She can get away with it. I don't think she wanted to be on show group, honestly. The vets who fell...it looks like Victoria might be one and Jessica was definitely one

Judy was up out of a chair and demonstrating moves! This is interesting, even if the choreography is kind of blah. It reminds me of some of the choreography I had to do in high school colorguard because less than half of the girls could actually dance. I have to wonder if the dances have gotten harder since Judy stopped actually choreographing them or what.

Thanks for posting that. I didn't realize she was a LSU girl. She must have known Erica and Jacie. And it sounds like she was fairly accomplished as a dancer in her hometown. Kelli wasn't joking when she said that all these girls were the best where they came from and that they all have titles.

Wow. It looks like Megan C. and Kinzie get to lead the rows as they leave the field! I know it's not like being point of the triangle, but I'm surprised they put a rookie out in front like that. I wonder if Megan is going to be kind of like another Jenn K.

I believe that the reason her being a Mormon was even mentioned on the show was the fact that her intro before her freestyle was "I'm Madeline, I'm 18, from Farr West, Utah, and I'm a Mormon!" And apparently it made Charlotte gasp or bothered her deeply.

With as crude as Kitty was being in the most recent episode, I have to wonder if she's ever been coached/approached by anyone with the organization. I know Kelli's the EP for the show, but I can't imagine her being okay with any current DCC or any alum saying such nasty, outrageous things in public. For Kitty to always go on about how she was a DCC and is representing them, it seems like she'd get called out on how inappropriate she is.

-I also felt bad for Tiege. It looked like she was doing an actual ballet routine and Kitty just didn't like the style. (She's a Laker Girl now, btw.) -Not that surprised about Rose making it to TC, because she's tall and pretty and because people have bombed the interview before and made it on the squad. It probably has a lot to do with how well you recover from your blunder, too. -I always re-watch the episodes with my mom and she was squirming every time Neal McCoy was on. She said he's like "a dirty old man" about these girls. I told her that's probably a big part of their fanbase, though. Either way...he's gross. During deliberations- Kelli: What did we put for Kelsey's interview? Neal: Great eyes! Panel interviews- Madeline: If you wear it with grace and poise, it doesn't matter. Neal: If you're wearing it, it'll be with grace and poise!

That has to sting for her if she sees that commentary. I'm sure she's a nice girl, and she's obviously very fit, but something tells me that she wouldn't have actually made training camp without the fan vote. In that same video they were talking about Kat, Kristi Scales said "On our 60 yard wide, center hung digital board, skinny people look normal and normal people look fat. [Kat] will look perfect on there." I just think that Kat is soooo thin, to the point I would seriously worry if her body type happened to become the new standard.

I went back and looked just because you said this, and the low kicker at around 4:35-4:39 definitely is Breelan. And it sticks out because she was right next to Lacey (who kicked herself in the face last year). I remember someone in the media thread posted a video that Lacey's dad put on youtube, and if it's not a video of the same performance then that's how Breelan's kicks/jumps looked all the time, apparently.

I felt so bad for the way they kept saying they weren't sure about Kaitlyn's "look". She was gorgeous! And I'm probably in a minority, but I liked Colby's accent a lot. Not necessarily her personality, though. It makes sense that a bit of the pronunciation would seep into some words if you live somewhere for six years, but I'd think it would disappear if you'd been back in Texas for the better part of a year. Meh. I did feel a bit irked at next week's preview, though. Kitty saying "If you're 30, you better dance like you're 20!" What does that even mean?

I'm happy Elizabeth made it! I had seen some interviews of her as a Raiderette and she seems fun.

I'm with you on this. I think Jinelle has beautiful, doe-like eyes and a fantastic smile.

Mia was there. I wasn't surprised about it, honestly. She is clearly still deeply involved in the organization and I believe she's still an allstar, correct? I'm expecting that she'll get Judy's job or at least Megan Fox's job at some point in the future.

I'm 100% convinced that Pilcher and crazy Pam are lying to everyone and that there's still plenty of a world outside, and they jump through complicated, expensive hoops to maintain the illusion because they're insane, power-hungry, megalomaniacs who view people as Sims or dolls.

I watched it maybe 60 times (it's so short!) and I think it's Kinizie. We all know she is excellent at everything, so it's probably(hopefully) a minor muscle strain keeping her from being able to sit in the split.

Karen is really good, but I believe she is extremely short. I feel like Kelli may have an issue with that when she puts on the boots. I think she also just finished school, which seems to be a strike against some girls. Robin's video from auditions leads me to believe that she wouldn't need "diversity", because it appears she is fantastic as is. I'm rooting for her.

I had to look at the photos on Ultimate Cheerleaders to see the list of the rookie TCCs, and we know that Rose and Colby were cut at some point and there was speculation that Emily was cut. Comparing the list of rookie TCCs with this picture from Kelli's twitter we can see Kat, Kyndall, Taylor, Raylee, Kaleigh?, Kashara, Megan B, Claire?, Chantel, Stephanie, Amy T, Karen, Elizabeth, Simone, Holly, Megan C, Amy L, Madeline, Jaclyn?, Robin, Shelbi, Rose (cut), Selina?, and Courtney. So the ones who haven't been cut (that we know about) are everyone on the Ultimate Cheerleaders link except for Colby, Emily, and Rose. Which means there are 43 girls left after Rose's cut, but there could have been more that we don't know about yet.

I was really hoping that the news she wasn't auditioning was just false because she's such a hard worker and was really charismatic and beautiful. It probably was weight warning, because she was tiny already but they "didn't like her body in the uniform" for some insane reason and wanted her to get to something like 105lbs. Hopefully there isn't anyone arbitrarily called out for weight this season, but I'm sure at least one person will be.

Who was the guest choreographer? Not Stephanie, right? Was it a different picture? Her instagram is private, unfortunately. Any idea who was there practicing?

I was super impressed with the kickline aside from the few over to our left who were just a hot mess. Who ever said that the right side of the line looked like vets--you're right!

Wow! Holly and one other rookie. That's a mega-accomplishment and I'd say the two of them pretty much are "shoo-ins" as much as Kelli and Judy hate acknowledging that some girls are.
