How many times can they say the word "believe?"

I remember Dana mentioning Dex a lot in his 1995 special. Condolences to his family and friends.
I remember that too. Very sad.

I liked it. Definitely the best WD content in years. The writing isn't as filled with clichés, and they wisely let other people carry the acting load.
The last 2 seasons of Fear aren't worth the paper they're printed on, unless there's another TP shortage.

Just got tickets for Alanis morrissette and Joan Jett. I know I’m old because I’m more excited for Joan Jett. Not that Alanis is for the youngsters any more.
I'd totally see Joan Jett and leave during the middle of Alanis.

Six years ago on this day, my father passed away after a ravaging illness.
But THEN - one year ago today, my granddaughter was born.
So today has both sucked, and been great.
Me, I’m trying to lean into the great.
And that, my friend, is the cycle of life.

Or come to think of it, just how the fuck did they manage not to shoot Troy at the gas station? I mean there were at least 50 armed guys with guns trained on him, many of them in cover with all his guys out in the open, and if the shooting started, you'd make sure you shot him first wouldn't you?
They covered that by saying "they didn't care if they lived or died!" which means they would live for some reason.
1 hour ago, BasilSeal said:OK, my bad there. looks like my powers of prediction didn't work this time which is embarrassing because this show is nothing if not predictable. In my defence it's clear that the theme here is building a better future for one's children, and there needs to be some sort of continuation for Maddison, which is kind of difficult when both her kids are dead so a lost grandchild seemed like the obvious get out clause. looks like they're going with the Bootleg Alicias tribute band instead though.
Don't feel bad, none of us had Alicia's Angels on our scorecards. With Troy's daughter, that's 4 new characters added with a week left to the show.

Yes, it's cold enough year round in Georgia (or Texas) even though no one else seems cold. We know it's cold because there is some white powder on the ground only in this small section of river bed. Which is cold enough to freeze walkers in the mud, even though it doesn't appear that cold maybe 3 miles away. In Georgia. <cough>

I just read a review that absolutely skewered the episode. It was way more entertaining.

OMG, that was just terrible. Bad dialogue, bad acting. Only one double-episode left, but it'll be a struggle to get through that.

There are comments here, but not a lot. I've never met anyone IRL who has seen this, and I live in Queens.
I haven't heard anything about a Season 4.

The show is kind of losing its luster for me. This was my least favorite episode so far. I could see from 100 miles that the cousin and the rehab center guy were trouble. How often is Gabi going to yell "we can't give up on them!"?
The cat-and-mouse game in the basement is getting tiresome. Something needs to happen.
At least there were finally consequences for the dubious police work.

Does anyone give a damn whether Dove lives or dies? She's barely a character. Talk about low stakes. I didn't get what she meant either when she told June she left Padre to get away from June. Huh? You're with June.
Not me. She was in one episode previously that I recall, and I couldn't care less about this petulant teen. Bad writing, her persona was very uneven.

I almost didn't watch this because I'm not a big Dwight fan, but I thought it was a decent episode, watchibility-wise. The throwback to Negan stuff was cool. That said, with 3 episodes left, it was fairly unnecessary. The whole point was to bring Dwight back for the inevitable war with Troy, which will likely result in Troy dying and maybe Madison too. The big reveal about Troy's daughter won't be that interesting. Anyway, we're almost done here.
Unrelated: I'm a structural engineer, and this show is always - "unlikely" - particularly when it comes to roofs.

I like this team way better than the Tampa team, and Chauncey is probably the best designer out of all of them.

i think Alicia is actually the mother of his child.
When he stated that Madison knew the mother of his child I immediately thought of Alicia, because honestly, who else could it be?

And have they ever explained why she needs the oxygen tank? If they did I must have missed it.
She was injured in the fire at the stadium. I knew as soon as she came back that the oxygen thing would be a plot point, to be used when they needed it.

Speaking of which, I guess that whole "nuclear winter" thing is over now huh?
Yep. It all blew away, which is something that apparently happens. <cough>
4 minutes ago, iMonrey said:We saw Alicia die, right?
IIRC, we never actually saw her die, which in this world means she could technically still be alive. Or something. <cough>

This is becoming dreadful. Madison really can't act.
Seriously. She growled at one point. Almost laughable.
6 hours ago, Iguessnot said:Troy apparently has a child and blames Madison for the death of the mother. Anybody recall anything?
Not at all, but after the Otto arc I stopped watching. I vaguely recall the whole thing.
I go on and on, but this show is just awful, especially compared to the vastly superior Daryl Dixon show. Only 4 episodes left, I can't imagine where they're going with this.
Are we never seeing Daniel and Luciana again? Do we care?

S08.E11: Fighting Like You / S08.E12: The Road Ahead
in Fear The Walking Dead
Yep, not much to add. It ended just as boring as it's been for years. I really hope this is the last we see of these people.
