Looks like standard horror movie creepy imagery.

I don't think I've ever seen this episode. I intentionally skipped the ones with the brother who dies. I didn't realize there was another subplot about Harriet in it.
No, we're talking about 2 different episodes. I think the Laura on the Mountain one is an all-time classic, but I could see it being a bit hard to take.

Caroline choosing to wait outside during her baby's last moments.
Pa gets so sanctimonious when he starts spouting the Lord's Prayer. Same thing in "Blizzard" where he gets all bible-y.

Another thing they would not be doing today. But ML liked that "mysterious, disappearing old man" plot point.

Worse than last week. There was only one act I really liked.
- Warrior Squad - I barely paid attention. They're ok, but we've seen it before.
- Trigg Watson - the trick was ok, but way too long and the delivery is hokey. I thought he was going to get buzzed by Simon.
- Summer Rios - I went in rooting for her, but the song choice and mix were not in her favor.
- Phil Wright & Parent Jam - kiddie nonsense. Howie was right to buzz them.
- Philip Bowen - there may be such a thing as too much enthusiasm.
- Mzansi Youth Choir - they were ok. Very likable. Good chance of going through.
- Justin Jackson - he was ok. The jump roping was gimmicky, and talented enough not to need gimmicks.
- MOS - I enjoyed their audition, and I like the concept, but I got bored in the middle.
- Barry Brewer Jr. - likeable, good delivery. What was missing? Oh, the jokes. Material wasn't there.
- Herwan Legaillard - I actually liked his act. Strange combo, but he works it.
- Putri Ariani - this goes against everything I thought I believed in, but I absolutely loved it. Great song choice, great performance, great production value. Obviously going through tonight and good chance of winning the whole thing.
@rr2911 called it, Putri and Mzansi going through. Outside chance for Barry Brewer and Summer Rios. Anyone else would really surprise me.

“Caroline Goes To A Depressing Camp And Swaps Babies.”
This is bottom tier for me. If this one's on, I'll watch something else. I'll watch the orangutan one before this.

The one where Harriet is judging Rev. Oleson for having a romance and the head priest is Patty Duke's father and he used to go out with Harriet? That one's ok. I've only seen it a few times.
As opposed to "Laura goes up the mountain with Ernest Borgnine" which is on right now, and I've seen 300 times.

The rest of that episode was ehh though.
The story is fairly mediocre, but the WAY over the top Irish stereotype of Nels' girlfriend gets me every time!

reasons, it looks well done
The filming/cinematography looks pretty good. I've read a few good reviews today, could it really be possible? Or am I going to be fooled for the 10th time by this franchise?

LOL! I don't know how I missed this! Bad minds think alike!

I can skip the Blind Painter one, the Albert has a pen-pal in a wheelchair one, and the message in a bottle one.
I'm always down for the Nels has an Irish girlfriend one.

That was a glowing review! We'll find out how true it is.

It pisses me off that they aren't releasing them early on AMC+. Absolutely the worst of the streaming services.

You look like you've lost weight.

I was born in the colonies, and I aint entering this crap. And I'm definitely NOT going to the movie house premiere in either New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, or Austin!

No. I really can't think of a single "must see" moment. The Mumurations audition was ok, but their second performance was about the same. And yes, you can't help but compare them to the Mayyas.

No surprises tonight. I'm actually happy for Ahren, I hope this leads to a career for him.

Well, even with a slow start, and some real clunkers, it was a definite improvement over last week.
- Chioma & the Atlanta Drum Academy - they're ok. More energy than talent.
- Sharpe Family Singers - whoever said "cruise ship" was right. They can sing, but it's so saccharine. I could see them playing in Disneyland. Wrong song choice.
- Three G - I'm usually bored with this kind of act, but I actually watched and paid attention to their entire act. I wonder if that falling during the auditions was just a schtick.
- Erica Coffelt - look, she seems nice. But this isn't even cruise ship, it's office talent show at best.
- Alfie Andrew - I don't like him at all.
- Ahren Belisle - he has some genuinely funny material. The timing was off in spots, but I understand the limitations.
- Dani Kerr - not interested.
- Ryland Petty - seems like a nice kid, and the dad stuff was nice, but I lost interest and we've seen versions of this trick many times before.
- Andrew Stanton - that was different! The eye trick was tough to watch, but the act was interesting.
- Steel Panther - I really couldn't understand most of the words, and neither could the closed-caption bot. They're ok, but I don't really want to see them in the finals.
- Murmuration - the end message was a little on the nose, but the actual act is mesmerizing in parts. Obviously going to the finals.
Other than Murmuration, it's a tough call.
Maybe: Drum Academy, Three G, Alfie, Ahren, Ryland
Unlikely: Dani, Andrew Stanton, Steel Panther
Nope: Sharpe Family, Erica
I was wrong about the dog act last week. If Erica goes through, I'm not making any more predictions.

I might watch last year’s. I was just so tired of the show going off the rails. I’m still not in the right head space for that.
I would bet good money that this year's Kardashian and apparently spider baby incarnation will go flying off the rails.

I was relieved when they eliminated the woman with the long blonde hair and impossible name. She constantly had her hands in her hair and then right back in the food. Blecch.
Toneata. I wonder if she made up that spelling. Or even that name. I won't miss her or Kermit, but Terri had the most personality out of the rest of them, so it'll be a little duller without her.

Watching a clip of Etherio cutting up some vegetables, it seems obvious that he has experience with a knife, maybe even doing prep work in a kitchen. Unless the lessons are just that great, which I doubt.

Last season was actually one of the best, IMO. This season looks like it'll be more like the season before it, which was one of the worst, again IMO.
I don't know where they're going with this split season thing. Maybe an attempt to drum up some suspense with a cliffhanger?

Charles was auto-eliminated this week, also for health ('health') reasons.
Very strange. I don't recall losing two contestants this way before. I'm still thinking Covid, but 🤷♂️

S18.E16: Qualifiers 3 / S18.E17: Qualifiers 3 Results
in America's Got Talent
I didn't even watch it, I may fast-forward through it this weekend. Slightly surprised at the order of elimination, but not at all surprised by the results.
