It is unfortunate that Kaya is leaving the show ( as regular). Her chemistry with Elsbeth was amazing, it will be tough to find a replacement. As far as I understood, the actress wanted to leave the show, although with showbiz you can never know what is going on behind the scenes. The whole darkish turn of the show was a surprise for me. But it is welcome, cause, how to say this in English, it gives a bit more character insight and development for Elsbeth, who till now was just the eccentric tad loony bright lawyer. But she is still human after all.

They should asked AI to choose the cast! Or even AI won't be able to cast without offending anyone?

yep.... the LAPD culture the show used to be about... a bazillion of seasons ago.. :( He is like a young T-1000. He was even running like one. I was actually surprised his leg did not regenerate by itself!

Just judging from engagement on this site, and probably other TV fan gatherings we are in the minority. Yep, it seems Chenford is really popular. I don't mind them, I am quite ok with them, what frustrates me is how the writers treat the audience with this "drop by drop" torture like if we are in the 90s or something.

I am trying hard to ignore how unrealistic this show is... I do, I really do but, well sometimes it breaks me! Why Seth didn't just shoot the guy instead of warning Nolan? Or warn Nolan *and* then shoot the guy? Why that bad guy wanted to kill the fugitive and his wife? Why the show was so cruel with Seth and literally crippled him? I am not gonna miss him, but the dude needs help not bullets. What this show says to its viewers? that pathological liars deserve to get shot and handicapped? Then what people who tell a hitman where to kill his target deserve? Cause Bailey is actually responsible for two deaths, but hey, she doesnt lie, well not as much as poor Seth. Even the nice fugitive was spared, but not Seth! Seth is the devil, Seth is the devil! The writers are having an "internet is bad" season. First the idiot that posted stupidities in the department's social media causing riots, then the Zuzu entity, now the juvenile influencers from hell. Also, at this point, I do not care about Lucy and Tim anymore. Oh and Lucy, your protege Tamara? an idiot. A complete idiot.

If you are a decent writer you can achieve both.

The writing is not good and tries to transform Dark Winds to a mainstream cop show full with cliches. That 360 shot of the two Border Patrol ladies in the previous episode was ridiculous. As was the whole train sequence in this episode. We can see cops running around with their guns in a bazillion other shows. Here you have the chance to tell a story in a unique setting and you waste it with cliche bs. The show, the characters and the actors deserve much better.

S02.E18: I Know What You Did Thirty-Three Summers Ago

If I remember well, there was a L&O SVU episode inspired by the headlines, that had to do with Trump. It was never aired. -

Wow, that shooting was so Law and Order. I did not expect that. I like that she show questions how to defeat corruption today. Of course shooting it (literally) it is not the answer, but what can desperate people do? Sometimes they just loose it. -
I absolutely dislike this kind of episodes. So I do not intent to watch it. Could a brave person who did watch it let me know if something important happened during this episode? Like...ermm Bailey going to prison for assisting a hitman killing two people? Thank you in advance! p.s. does Lucy still wants to work undercover? is there a specific number of public TV appearances required to do so?

First of all "Bravo!" To add that there are also more suspects with strong motive, the relatives of the other people that died in that "accident", plus the Vine's widow. The whole FBI thing only happened to put Joe and Emma's relationship in peril. Which is silly, since I am pretty much sure Emma suspected Joe from the moment Vines disappeared or when found dead.

Are police so incompetent in the books as well or this is only in the TV adaptation? I still cannot get how Chee didn't get the professor and I am trying hard to understand why Bernadette trusted any of her colleagues since it was more than obvious most of them, if not all, they were corrupted. The only realistic situation this season is the family drama between Emma and Joe. I do not believe I am writing this, but even season 2 was better. And I disliked season 2. I think the writers cared more about the vision-episode than the rest of the story. Btw, from all these American series I have watched, I remember that the wife cannot be forced to testify against her husband, or something similar. So Emma didn't have to say anything to the FBI lady. Right?

I wouldn't mind having more Brady and Benson episodes. I like the chemistry and the balance Brady brings as she manages to tame Benson a bit :)
