In Master Plan, Shawn could have said he and Angela broke up some time after he moved to NYC and he hasn't been in love since. No need to have this convoluted story, sort of rewrite history by saying she left him (when the viewers know she went to Europe for year), have her come back to ask his advice on having kids with her husband and then give her blessing for him to date Katy. But I guess this adds a dramatic element? I'm interested to see the reaction of BMW fans after it airs. I did feel that M. Jacobs over-hyped the whole thing and was pretty let down at the end of the taping.

They travel but dont really perform show group specific routines at least on the last two big trips. In London it was the normal stuff and they hosted cheer clinics on the most recent USO tour. I guess travel is the real perk not the routines.

Kaleigh is a yoga instructor right? She is supposed to be super flexible. I would be shocked if her kicks were low given her profession. I do think that whole crew looks older (30s) not that being 30 is a bad thing but there is a stark difference between 18 yr old Holly and say Colby. Of the three (Kat, Colby, Kaleigh) Kaleigh is by far the stand out. However, I am interested in seeing Kat post make over. Instead of teaching stanky leg, Ms. Keys should be taking her girls aside and teaching them Thunderstruck just sayin' ...

Yes, all those girls should be on YT learning Thunderstruck right now. I would be HOPPING mad if I were a GL (or just a veteran) and had a TCC come in and know none of Thunderstruck. If I, pink317, know it.. you TCCs better know at least some of it. I am always flabbergasted when the TCCs cant do any of Thunderstruck. There are so many YT videos out there and its not like the dance changes!

I agree the entire process is a bit dramatic and drawn out. However, I do not see anything wrong with the gap between finals and TC. It gives TCCs time to move their entire lives to Dallas, gives returning vets (and staff) a break, and there is a holiday in between.

I went and watched it. Around :50 you can see her -not mess up per say- but she kind of shuffles through the hip roll and the shoulder shimmy but maybe she just doesnt projecting well esp in comparison to Jenn K and Lacey who are doing big movements. She plays it off well though, smiling the whole time. But, it also seems like Lacey messed up. Jenn has her hands down in front of her groin area while doing the hip roll (as does Ashley) and Lacey has her hands cross her body. It goes by very fast but its jarring because not all 3 of them are doing the same thing.

ITA, IMHO quite a few girls are "slumming it" being DCC but its their choice and I respect it. Samantha auditioned for Juilliard for goodness sakes. I'm sure Melissa has been dancing professionally and competitively since birth. DCC are lucky to have some of these ladies and not the other way around despite what K&J might insinuate.

Being a DCC really only means something in Dallas where the girls are 'famous'. Claims to fame come a dime a dozen in CA. I wasn't talking about fans. I'm interested in seeing what she does in CA because being a DCC does not hold that much value here.

Wow, agree to disagree! I think this is one of the most respectful boards I've ever been on! You should see some other boards. Here, when people say 'agree to disagree', the topic is usually dropped which is rare on the internet! I've experienced this personally when I wasn't feeling TNS racing Taylor and or Melissa being chosen as mentor. Never seen anyone disrespected for their opinion and every one posts what they feel without abandon but maybe I'm one of the mean ones lol. I don't understand comments about the the girls spare time as if folks know them personally? Social media has conditioned ppl to think "pics or it didn't happen" but not everyone post every minute of their lives. Some are busy living and not posting. No one can comment on dance training coasting etc based on social media! Sorry Teresa. It's on instagram. I still feel bad for them and will not be told not to lol. They are humans with feelings and I am sure didn't think they brought a poor to game to finals. Obviously they got out auditioned and are kicking themselves or feeling confused but hindsight is 20/20. We are hard just like the judges but they are not robots and are probably very sad. Loss is loss.

The lower vets I follow are all over the moon! Haven't seen anything from upper vets. Nothing from the usually vocal alumni.

A few minutes before voting closed Colby was in the lead for the fan vote but then again Vivian was the clear leader last year and someone how Loren was declared the winner so who knows? So 20 vets max, minimum 16 rookies. This is going to be another MTT7 where half the squad members were rookies. Still shocked a singer and tumbler were cut when the team was light on vets. Gonna sting for a while.

I looked up Holly Powell and she is awesome. A rookie SG member for sure. I sometimes wonder why girls of that caliber settle for DCC - they should be at Julliard or pursuing a serious dance company.
