I actually thought Ramona had a lot tucked away - she seemed like a very smart business woman (although clueless in many other areas). Maybe she spent and spent and didn’t put much away.

On the other hand, maybe she is messing with Dorinda’s gin addled mind, which I would be happy to watch.

It wouldn't surprise me that Ramona has a lot tucked away, and even so is exploring a new occupation.  One doesn't want to begin spending their nest egg at too young an age.  She still has some earning years ahead before having to retire.  And like another poster said above, it gives her something to do with her time plus she's not 100% dependent on Bravo for income.  She has a lot of contacts so I think she'll probably do well obtaining listings and selling real estate.

I think Rick is a silver fox with a nice body.  But I'm sure that one of the reasons for her infatuation is his Fox News reporter status.  I think she likes that clout.  LIke a Juliana Hough thing -- she was way in love with her husband when he had a professional hockey career.  Once he wasn't, then there were problems being leaked about the state of their marriage.  I'd imagine when Rick is not bi-coastal reporter, Kelly will be less enamored.

I think Rick gets off on her volatility.  As long as the sex is good he'll stick around.   And the sex is probably better for him b/c he gets a rush off her unpredictability.

Well - that, and she's a decade and a half younger than he is.

Is he in anger management classes? He just looks like a jerk to me and a guy that needs to be in control of every situation. She's better than me...I would not see him or have anything to do with him if he had done all these things to me .I would do all child visitation via an attorney and maybe just texts. He's an asshat.

During last week's episode, in the scene where Gina is talking to her attorney, she said Matt has been going to anger management classes and that she believed it has made a big difference in him.  People make mistakes, and I understand the DV incident was just that -- one incident, not a pattern.  So I can understand why Gina wants to make nice and keep things civil so her children can enjoy the company of both parents whenever possible.  Also, it was big of Gina to invite his girlfriend.

Question...I never really read about the assault on Gina by Matt...was it a full blown beat down with injuries or did he just push her around? Both are bad but I was just wondering the full extent of the attack was. All I heard was that barged into her house and attacked her...he looks like a jerk...already has another young girlfriend. He'll probably cheat on her too.

Matt would probably not have been arrested but for Gina's visible facial injuries and other bruises at the time police responded to the DV call.

This statement bothers me. How about the other way around? Daddy beat up Mommy- who was also a constant presence in their lives while Daddy fucked around in LA during the week, pretending to “work”, instead of choosing to be with his family.

Guess what, Matt? You’re a fucking pig who set a shit example for your children. You chose your penis over your family and beat up your wife. Your kids will never understand and will never forgive you. They are just little kids who want and need stability and safety in their lives and you are the reason your lives have been turned upside down.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I was shocked that Sophie thinks it’s ok to think a woman needs a man to support her financially! Gobsmacked! Are we *still* not past that view?

Well, I believe Sophie knows her mother very well, and she has been along for the entire ride so far of Shannon's journey investing every penny she's worth to shill marginal low calorie meals and lemon-based dietary supplements, so maybe she's on to something there with knowing the new boyfriend will have to be psychologist in chief as well as financial supporter.  Not to even mention she's pissing away thousands every month renting that huge, expensive house.  I mean, how much longer will it be before Shannon has run through everything she has and is completely broke?

  7. I had to laugh at Emily's TH where she gleefully observes that she's relieved to not be the one crying and throwing things this time, and was happy to pass the torch.

Poor Brauny - she looked like one exposed raw nerve during the party and afterward.  It's got to suck.  She could sure use a doctor's help, no foolin'.  I cracked up, though, when Kelly sat down next to Brauny on the little couch outside at the party.  I get the feeling that there was a significant amount of conversation edited from the exchange between Kelly and Brauny that ended with Kelly saying "shake it off" and both of them laughing.  I got a kick out of Sean and Brauny on their walk home from the party, when Brauny says "Kelly was being real on the couch -- she wasn't being kind, she was being honest.  But I'll take that."

I love seeing Kelly's new house.  I enjoyed the Mezuza hanging scene.  Being married to a Jewish man, there are a lot of new things she'll be learning.  I was surprised to hear her say she learned how to make matzo ball soup and potato latkes.

All the scenes from the party that didn't include Brauny looked like everyone was able to get past the earlier dust-up and have a good time.  Shannon's dad, the randy old coot, looks good for 90.  The fans have been dying to see more scenes like the girls being tipsy, laughing and doing things like poking good natured fun at Shannon's huge portrait in the gym, and Gina and Emily lounging in the big soaker bathtub.

I have to give Brauny credit - girl knows how to own her bad behavior and make a proper apology.  Witnessing the several awkward exchanges between her and her kids on this episode alone, it looks to me that she has a long way to go to get up to speed on her Mom game.  What is keeping sad-gate alive, is Brauny's insistence that she's right about what Shannon said without considering the possibility she misinterpreted what she heard.  I believe Shannon is more justified in refusing to back down over being called a liar.

I understand the frustration of the fans who are losing interest in the HW shows not so much because of the interactions of the cast, but that these thin story lines are dragged out to absurd lengths and bog down everything when there are parties like Shannon's housewarming that can work to help the show/story lines keep moving along.

I truly think that if Bravo had footage of Shannon saying "sad", they would air it. Anytime a HW lies about something and they have footage showing the truth, they air it. Remember Ramona and all the lies at the Angel Ball they kept cutting back to last season on RHONY? So either Braunwyn is lying and Shannon never said it or Shannon said it off camera. I'm leaning more toward Shannon saying it because she is protesting a little too much. Either way, it's a stupid argument and I hope they let it go.

Unpopular opinion: I didn't think the "Lemonade boy" was that bad. She clearly didn't know his name. I wonder if Braunwyn had ever even met John's kids. She also didn't demand he go inside and get her husband, she asked him and I'm pretty sure she said please.

I hope this season starts getting fun soon.

Brauny:  Hey uh, Lemonade Boy, could you get my husband?

    Lemonade Boy:  Okay.

I will be at my table for one in liking Gina. I enjoyed her most of last season, and am really liking her this season. She seems to be self deprecating.

Misslindsey, I'll sit with you.  I think Gina has talked sense most of the time and I respect the fact that she picked herself up and got her shit together after, as she termed it, "the worst thing that's ever happened to me".

Being Shannon is head honcho now, does that give her the right to scream and yell like Vikie used to do?  Bring it down a few decimals Shannon.  You’re not all that.  You sound like a fish wife.

Shannon has really gotten wound up tight over this piddling issue of Brauny saying she called Gina's townhouse "sad".  I am liking her boyfriend after seeing him in action, how attentive he is when she's talking, sharing his observations about what she's said and yet not telling her what to do or think.  Seems like a grounded, intelligent guy and how did she get so lucky?  She should count her blessings and stop giving life to the stupid ravings of Brauny by considering the source.  I mean, why even GAF what Brauny thinks or says?  Shannon can maintain forever that she never said it without digging in her heels and getting herself all worked up over it, which is what makes me think the whole thing is probably producer driven.

Braunwyn’s calling of Shannon’s boyfriend’s son “Lemonade Boy” was a little rude, but I doubt she was introduced to him. Should she have said, “Hey you”?  Plus, she didn’t command him to find her husband, she asked him.

Kelly’s words to the same kid were worse, in my opinion, “Go bob for it, kid”.  Plus, Kelly’s sudden concern for the “children” is laughable.

I am no Braunwyn fan. I find her reactionary, insecure, too eager to please, and completely unaware of who she really is as a person. But something about her struggles makes me involuntarily sympathetic.  It has to be difficult to be sober for the first time in your life, and deal with the emotions you’ve been numbing since your early teens.

Not a Brauny fan either, but I find myself thinking the same thing.  Her trying to white-knuckle this all on her own must be hell.  I wish the show would have given Brauny the directive to check in to an inpatient clinic, drastically reduce the time she has to be on camera, and maybe change her platform on the show to one or two segments each episode highlighting and catching up with her progress until she can be back on the show as a regular.

It was almost painful to see the 17-year old daughter and the teenage son with real problems themselves.  The daughter looked like she's been ill or something with those obvious dark circles around her eyes.  The son is obviously embarking on a lifestyle that will require some mature coping skills.  Plus if he's going to dress as a woman then he needs some intensive coaching on how to move like one or he's just going to look like a clown.

Sure, everything’s great in the beginning, especially if you have a “ yes” man .. until it isn’t.  Rick is giving up his life in N.Y.C. where he’s been working for Fox for years.  When he can’t keep up with Kelly after awhile, who knows.  What was wrong with the last husband?

Kelly and Mike needled each other to death constantly and could never seem to give it a rest.  I believe it was Kelly who called it quits but I could be wrong about that.  She was usually the worse offender of the two.

IIRC, Gina showed Tamra the text, who told her he was fishing for a threesome, and Tamra then told Braunwyn, who is making a thing out of it. GIna admits being weirded out by it, but she's not the one bringing it up or dwelling on it.

Gina's not even upset about whether or not Shannon said her house is sad, with Shannon or Braunwyn, so I don't get why she's so hell bent on getting Shannon to admit to saying it when she allegedly said she'd deny it, and no one else cares. jmo.

Thank you for pointing these things out -- seems like those facts get lost in all the snipes going back and forth.

LOL - many of those little boutiques in Newport and Corona del Mar don't stock sizes larger than a 6.  My daughter and I went window shopping one day and stepped into one place where the only sizes there were 0-4.  After leaving, we both wondered if there were really that many women size 0-4 shopping there, or if it was some kind of money laundering front (we make each other laugh being cynical like that).

Why is Bronte trying to get everyone to go to AA meetings with her.  Is that a thing?  I mean, especially thinking that GIna is going to go with her and then they’ll get coffee - when they are barely getting along?

I think as to Gina, because Brauny wants to make up with her she extended the invitation to go to AA together.  At Shannon's housewarming, after Brauny told Gina she was 30-days sober, Gina said "well I'm 3 days sober" or something similar.  Plus not long before filming started, Gina was charged with a DUI and it's possible part of her sentence included attending a certain number of AA meetings.

"Clinical level MORON".....  I love it! Could one of you lovely people please explain to me why BrownWind (loooovvee that moniker!) is soooo pissed off at Gina?? I must have missed something somewhere in this miasma.

OTOH, thought Shannon's "lemon" party was soooo cute, too bad the shit hit the fan.  And her DAD.... Lort. Kelly calling him " BIG DICKDADDY"....

    Wow.

I DO know some old coots who would be soo happy to be called that by ANY. OLD. BODY.  They're kinda sad, really.

It's one thing to have hubby in on her girl-on-girl events, but him hustling his own action crossed the line.  Or maybe because she didn't dig that text from him to Gina was being shown around and discussed.  I know I would be disgruntled as hell if any man of mine sent a text like that to another woman.

I went back to the first episode and re-watched some of it.  I can't find where Shannon said it, but in my mind, I thought I heard her say it at one time.  Maybe I'm remembering Emily claiming that Shannon said it.  Oh my, I'm so confused!  Shannon did walk through Gina's house saying things like "that's great," and "nice," but the look on her face was saying 'this is sad.'  It's as if she had to force those compliments out of herself.

And I found it just as gross when Shannon said that her Dad closes down the bars with 25 year olds.  Ick.   It makes you wonder what Shannon has said about her Dad that led them to believe that he's a "big dick daddy."  That's gross too.

I laughed when Kelly said that.  It's typical Kelly -- and Dad looked like he was totally enjoying her there paying rapt attention to him with her arm around his shoulders.  I thought it was one of the more fun moments of this episode.

What?! No one mentioned the spot-on imitations of Shannon done by Emily and Kelly (and Shane in the back seat 🤣) on the way to the housewarming party!? I was rolling! The hand gestures! They knew exactly what she'd say and how she'd say it. And then Bravo with the montage of the hand movements! Best part of the episode! Shannon was probably livid watching it, but I thought it was hysterical.

Brawnwyn is full of shit. I don’t buy that she’s an addict and I believe it’s all for a storyline.

I don’t think that Sean was implying threesome but I do understand why Gina felt uncomfortable getting that text. It was creepy with the wink and too familiar, given that they don’t have that type of friendship.

I look at the text this way:  If Sean's only concern was whether or not Gina got home all right, maybe he could have used language saying that in the text?  Instead, he says (paraphrasing) "my wife is asleep now that I got her back to the condo (winky emoji); it was fun spending time with you (smiley emoji)".  To me, the subtext seemed pretty obvious he was angling for an invitation.  How was it only about checking up on her safety when not one word about getting home safe was even mentioned?

Why do all these people throw money away renting?  I thought Shannon bought her house, not rent.  Excluding Bethenny Frankel’s luck and timing with her alcohol business have any other housewives parlayed their housewives notoriety into a successful product? Perhaps Shannon would be better off getting a financial advisor for the million plus from the divorce settlement.  I wonder how long she will get the $30,000 per month.

She never did get the $30K a month.  The judge ordered it as temporary support until the issues could be ironed out, but instead Shannon said she would settle for $22K per month, I think just to save him from having any more konniption fits.

I see it as a money suck because it is just another skin care product, the market is saturated with them from just the HW's alone!  I had posted earlier about her food line and that she should concentrate on that, new foods, desserts, some aspect because it was a success and there are more marketing opportunities with that than skin care (especially thru the pandemic and how many people are gaining weight) along with all the food delivery services that you cook yourself.  She could make a Blue Apron sort of thing, anything other than a high end bottle of lemon juice for your face.

I wish I had all the money these HW's have put in to products that went nowhere.

In the photo of the two products, they both say "dietary supplement" on the label.

First time poster, but long time Real Housewives watcher!  I live in Newport and I think this season is going to be good for one reason - most of these ladies are living (way) above their means and that always makes for an interesting watch!

Let's talk about the new girl - I'll call her "The Exaggerator" :  In her first episode she says (repeatedly) she was married to a Billionaire, Bernt Bodal.  A quick google search will tell you he's worth about $200M, he's rich but no billionaire.  She says that she was tired of being a Billionaire's wife (she cried on the couch for 3 yrs and he now has a child w/another woman) um, okay something isn't adding up.  Sounds like she got dumped but got the beach house in the divorce.  Kelly says she owns mansions and private jets, not so fast.  The beach house sold for $4M last (that's expensive) but its not $6-$7M.  This girl is so full of it.  Just sayin'  Don't even get me started on her fake music business.  Maybe she'll figure out the dog rescue and be the entrepreneur she's always wanted to be.  And maybe tuck in the girlies, it's a bit much how they're always showing.

Braunwyn, Brauwyn, Braunwyn is so hard to believe.  She did drink a lot last year but "My name is Braunwyn and I'm an alcoholic" was a lot on the first episode.  If so, I wish her the very best.  What's even harder to believe is her renting a 8,000 sq foot house that looks styled out to the hilt.  She really is playing up "I'm a rich b**ch" this season.  We'll see how long until she downgrades.  Her husband seems very bi-sexual so that is probably confusing their relationship.  She is going to be really annoying this season.  I just hope they are done having kids.

Shannon seems happy and is doing much better- I'm puling for her she's been through a lot.

Kelly overstating her sex life is cringe... her husband is selling his $800k one bedroom apt in New York and she is renting a house for $5k.  So when she said on the reunion that she's flying around in private jets & made it sounds like her new guy is loaded is interesting.

Gina is boring so I'll skip her for now (I fast forward her scenes).

I'd like to know what neighborhood in Newport Kelly, Shannon and Kelly moved to.  Hard to tell from the videos - Dover Shores, Cliff Haven maybe?  I don't think it's Crystal Cove.  Any locals know or want to take a guess?

Looked a lot like Balboa to me.

Why make a point to mention that Browny was now asleep? It seemed innocent enough, but could have been read a different way. He was sussing out Gina and waiting on her reply. From his perspective... who knows what could have happened? 🤷‍♀️

When Gina showed the actual text, it was pretty obvious to me that Sean was putting out the bait by mentioning the wife is asleep.  Not buying that it was just a friendly gesture making sure Gina got home all right.  He was looking to score -- no doubt in my mind.
