So, I was watching TV, and the show I was watching ended, and I suddenly remembered, "Hey, it's Saturday. Who won POV?" So, I go to JU, and I see Paul won POV, which seems okay (by okay, I mean normal -- I hate him quite a bit, so really not okay) but he also has an N by his name. So, Paulie has an N, Joze has an N, and Paul also has an N. So, I come here to find out what's going on...and my head explodes. I surmise this has something to do with the new competition. I hate it already, and I'm not even sure what it is.

Well, there was no way in which that didn't suck. So glad I spent half an hour voting for Tim last night only to learn that he was already out of the running because he forfeited the effing HOH comp. Presumably he knew the order in which HGs were eliminated and that they were eliminated 7 days apart -- he could have figured it out even if he didn't have it memorized. I hope Cass kicks his ass when she finds out about that. Anyway, much as I can't stand the brothers, they did win a lot of comps, so I guess I'm marginally pleased that they won over Kelsey (who I also can't stand). OMG, every single thing that came out of the mouths of those three tonight had me rolling my eyes and yelling shut up at the TV. I would have preferred to watch even more filler clips than listen to their "integrous" BS. BUT I was satisfied with the winners of the first 3 seasons, so overall this version of BB is still much more enjoyable for me than the US version, where I have hated almost all the winners.

Kelsey, please! That was a pathetic F2 justification. "My best lie? Was one that I got called out on, so then I decided it was better to play without lying." The Paxbros weren't much better: "We just didn't lie." What? They bragged in obnoxious Will/Boogie DR style just last episode about how they pretended to be disgusted that Cass wasn't throwing the HOH as promised but thought she was stupid for backing down. I hope, hope, hope that Cassandra's scenario plays out: Tim wins final HOH, votes out Kelsey, and wins over the smug brothers. And I plan to take Tim up on his offer to stay at his place in Australia because I voted for him (kidding!).
-
From what I heard it sounds like you're right. But I can't think of a good reason why K would vote Cass out over Tim. I can't think why the brothers would want Tim in F3 over Cass either. Surprising, stupid, and hypocritical (especially for P/N).
-
Yes, I have to agree. At the beginning of the season I would have said I didn't want an international to win, but I would rather see Tim win than Kelsey or the brothers. However, I am still hoping for a Cassandra win. Depending on how HOH and especially POV shake out this week, I think she has a pretty good chance of making it to F2 at least. The jury so far, even including Jared, seemed to have some admiration for her social game skills, Joel would vote for her, and Canada gets a jury vote (yay!), so I think she does have a shot at winning. And I've probably jinxed her by saying so. In any event, she will have a lot of fans when she gets out.

Well, the worst thing that could happen did. The brothers are HOH. For some reason, Cass is off by herself and Tim is in the HOH room with K/P/N like he is in the already-determined final 3 with them. Hopefully, it's another ruse by T&C. After tonight's show, I'd be surprised if it wasn't.
-
Tim seemed uncharacteristically dramatic this episode. I have to wonder if he was "inspired" by the screening of UnREAL to bring it. Why didn't Joel let C&T know in advance about his plan to make K/P/N think he was working with them?
-
I was hoping Threekshow had won themselves an opportunity to convince Kelsey to put up the brothers, but K is determined to come in second to a chest-thumping male(s). So that didn't happen, and Tim has saved himself. Yes, Cass is probably going this week now.
-
Tim won. Okay. That'll do.

That was one of two reasons she gave, as reported on JU. The other was to hide the fact that Joel is allied with her and Tim Anyhow, that still doesn't explain why Cass felt the need to follow the brothers to the washroom during the commercial break and assure them she wouldn't use the veto if she won it, when they wouldn't even be playing. Watching it again, all I can guess is that she wanted to try to influence them not put her up as a replacement if Tim or Nikki got themselves off the block. On the other hand, Cass did seem really irritated by the way P&N were questioning her before she even said what she would do. I also noticed when I re-watched the ep that Cass whispered to Joel just before she made her announcement, presumably to let him know what she what she was going to do.
-
Joel has to win this POV and use it. Not only will that make the last couple of weeks more enjoyable for me to watch, but Joel needs a recent comp win/big move on his resume. His HOH was weeks ago.
-
Kelsey won HOH.
-
What happened tonight? Cassandra was just screwing with the brothers (the mind-blowingly idiotic brothers!) when she used the veto, right? Cause if Tim had stayed on the block, Nikki would have still gone home. Or did she fear Joel might vote Tim out while she knew Tim would not vote Joel out? And if that was the case, why did she go out of her way to promise the brothers she wouldn't use the veto, knowing that would unnecessarily antagonize them when she did? And if she was just having fun with the brothers, was Joel in on it? Because otherwise she was just unnecessarily antagonizing him by ensuring he would go up in Tim's place. In other news, Jared is out! Yay!

Nikki.

A very eventful night and morning. (Of course, when I go to the live feeds just now, there's nothing going on.) Bros got themselves off the block in some kind of "what would you do for POV" challenge. Nick has a badly shaved head. Jared threw the POV and it sounds like Kelsey may have chosen a trip. Cass is furious at them and is considering putting Jared on the block. Kelsey and Jared were lobbying hard for Cass not to do that. Stand firm, Cass! Do it!
-
Cass (technically her Dad) won HOH.
-
Apparently Ramsey has left the house and the game. ETA: Will this mean that Canada gets a jury vote?
-
Hardly a surprise, but the brothers have nominated Maddy and Ramsey. Guess Phil still has a Bro-ner on for Jared. You wasted your vote, Canada.
-
I don't know why, but Nick is fairly popular on Jokers Updates fan polls, although still consistently below Nikki, Tim, Cass and Joel (as well as a couple of evicted players like Mitch and Loveita). I don't watch the feeds much, so maybe he is more interesting/likeable there than he has seemed on the broadcast. And Phil, who is a few slots below Nick in polls generally, may have benefitted from his popularity. Just guessing.
-
I can not stand Jared! And watching the "cult of Jared" (thanks, Otto) fall over themselves to help him win is driving me insane. It's even worse than BBUS S16 because at least Derrick the cop was actively manipulating his cast to throw themselves on the sword for him. Jared is oblivious to how these morons want to take him to the end. He wanted to blindside the knucklehead brothers last week, for crying out loud! So I don't know who to vote for HOH, Based on Joker's polls, I assume Nikki and probably either Tim or Cassandra will be the two finalists. Who will put Jared up and is there a possible majority of the others left to vote him out if he is nominated again?
-
I'm starting to feel that way too. I didn't mind Tim and Nikki at first, but I'm over them. And the junior high mentality of most of these people (the catty girls, the boys lining up behind the "cool guy"). At this point, I don't even care who gets back in. She and Maddy will just go after each other -- yawn. My only hope for this season is a Mitch/Joel/Ramsay revenge of the nerds alliance taking over the game. http://eedition.toronto.24hrs.ca/epaper/viewer.aspx# Sorry, link not working - just shows most recent edition. The article was in Thursdays edition if you are interested.

Can someone explain to me why everyone in this show has apparently decided their mission in the game to help Jared win? Why didn't Joel put him up against Kelsey or Raul, as he is the actual linchpin in that three-person alliance? Why did both Mitch and Phil express that they hoped with Kelsey gone that they would become Jared's main ally? The hell? Does Jared fart Skittles or something? He is not a strategic thinker, nor is he especially a comp-beast, and he is flat-out boring. Vote this dimwit (okay, pretty dimwit) out already! He is one who is going to steal your hundred thousand dollars, Maddy! And I hate that the only person who agrees with me is Dallas. I hope Loveita comes back too, even though I have had issues with her, cause I doubt Kelsey will turn on Magic Jared.
-
So apparently Kelsey and Raul were nominated and then Dallas won POV. Kelsey was trying to appear all cool about it but was rocking back and forth and twitching her fingers. Jared was trying to appear like he cared, but didn't seem all that put out really. These feeds may be free but they are too infuriating to watch. The sound is garbled, except for the REALLY LOUD COMMERCIALS that interrupt every few minutes. The BBUS "fish" seem like a meditative alternative by comparison.

Nikki, the shrieker, is one of the stunt-cast ringers (from BBUK) and is not representative of BBCan contestants, past or present. But BBCan contestants are not exactly like the US contestants either overall. The whole tone of the Canadian version is less nasty than the US version. Last year's BBUS wasn't too bad (except for Austin), but think of some of the few years before that, like the misogynist bro-liances of seasons 16 and 12 and the racists in season 15. From your keyboard to the god of reality shows' ears! I think (and hope) she may be gone next time anybody gets HOH. She is clueless, and it's starting to affect the game (her having won 2 of the 3 HOHs). I don't like Dallas particularly, but I don't blame him for not using Veto as he repeatedly bragged he would. Loveita no doubt would have put up his ally, Maddy (cause there aren't a lot of girls left and heaven forbid she would put up a boy - they might come after her!) Please let sour Christine go home tomorrow and not the very amusing Cassandra. Normally, I root for older players, but I don't even know why Christine is there. She doesn't seem to be having any fun.
-
I like Mitch and Sharry. They seem like the grown-ups in the house. Am intrigued by Maddy, Joel and (wouldn't have thought I'd say this a week ago) Nikki, Tim and Cassandra.. Might come to like Kelsey? (I was impressed by her HOH comp performance) Indifferent to brothers, Raul, Jared, Ramsay, Christine. Loveita lost me the first week by immediately targeting four women. Dallas seems like a tool.
