  1. I will always love Tim Meadows for "I DID IT" and "Jingleheimer Junction"...."Shut Up,Umberto! "
  2. Well,I loved Seth on Update from the start, so I'm not judging his awkwardness. .lol. and I like Che too,he took some getting used to,but when I think of how Dennis Miller laughed at his own jokes also,I don't mind.
  3. You mean..Bill's on the market? ....sorry. ..too soon?
  4. have to confess. .after the Cha Cha sketch,I'm now I'm love with Mulaney.Didn't get him until last night.
  5. I don't get Mulaney,either. although I'm glad he's a Friend Of Pete Davidson.
  6. John is 6'2,Steve 6'0.John is fuller in the face than Steve. They sound nothing alike to me. Props to the makeup department, I guess.
  7. I can't help it; I just like Pete.He caught my attention when he joined the show, and I can't say why.Maybe its his goofiness. And yes,the fact he lost his Dad on 09-11.and yes,I have a family member who was diagnosed years ago with bipolar disorder, and that cousin has gone off and on meds for years. Mental illness is one of the last stigmatized diseases .If Pete was undergoing chemo for brain cancer, there wouldn't be all the judgements about how he looked worse one night compared to another. I'm rooting for him, and obviously the cast and staff and Lorne are too. ,
  8. I will say that this wouldn't be the first time that SNL has taken the moment to comment on the moment, as in bits of sketches taking shots at Belushi's "excesses" all those years ago,for example.Or just last week, mentioning Baldwin. I think Lorne has proven himself to be a talented and mature show runner since 1975(minus the five years he stepped away). And, with respect, saying Jost has "more to offer" than Davidson? Because Jost is a writer and WU anchor he's more important than Pete? Again, with respect, just trying to figure out that statement. Yes, I'm in Pete's corner. Addiction is a bitch and I think maybe Lorne sees a young man that he'd like to not eventually lose the way he did Belushi and Farley. Just my opinion, for what it's worth.
  9. Bear with me, haven't been on here in a while: . Cold Open: Great for the most part. Funny how DeNiro was such a terrible host but he can manage to do okay with small bits like this. Mikey and Alex are continuing to be the MVP's every week. I actually said "yay" when I saw them. Kinda over Kate now... Monologue:I've always liked Liev as an actor, but often I'm disappointed with 'actors" hosting(see DeNiro) but I really enjoyed him here and throughout the show.He was throughly committed and it showed. Incest Twins:Once again:Mikey and Alex are stars. Silly idea and I like silly ideas. I LOL'd several times. Unity:I usually don't like the non live bits but this was really good. Liev looked nice in the captain's hat. Ghost Encounters, part 50, As stated, kinda over Kate now, but she certainly works this character. Liev gets props for not losing it. Booty Kings:again, not fond of the video stuff usually, but this was fun, and Chris Redd never fails.. he's impressed me from the moment he joined SNL. WU:I guess I'm older now;because I've come to believe that comedy can some times cross a line and it's okay. Yes, Pete can be kind of "a dick" in his words.Taking into account the rapidly changing hair color(white, now blue) and the whole Ariana thing(which I lost interest in the moment I heard about it), I think he has the potential to become someone with a decent comedy career.I mean, I can't stand Adam Sandler, and just look....But I watched Pete Saturday night and I can't help but like him. I don't know what it is, but I just like the guy. And as someone else mentioned, the look on his face at the mention of his Dad......tough to see. The Poddys: Didn't know I needed this..but I liked it. Remember when podcasts were new and unusual? House Hunters:Sketch of the night. Liev and Leslie were really good together. New Neighbors: Again, love silly stuff, love Beck and Kyle has grown on me. Women's Bathroom: LIev was just right for this kind of weird little bit. Overall, I thought it was 90 percent successful. B+
  10. I read a comment on SNL'S FB page from someone speculating that Kenan could be passed the baton by Lorne one day and become exec producer. I actually kinda like that idea. He certainly knows what it takes to get the show on air and everyone there loves him. We shall see.
  11. I think Pete's kinda cute (cougar alert!) and I'm glad he's gotten clean. Aww...young love.
  12. For those wondering about Stormy Daniels and how far we have gone. .remember ..Monica Lewinsky appeared on the May 8,1999 episode, appearing in two cameos as herself..one with Hammonds Bill Clinton and the other in the ladies man sketch with Tim Meadows..
  13. Good for them. I might DVR to see them.
  14. My thing is: I like Pete, and if he's on the road to mental health I don't care what his teeth look like.
  15. Just got around to watching the show last night. .thanks bronchitis. ..but I think Charles Barkley is kind of charming, and I thought he was enjoyable. Was Kyle Mooney high? Holy God, that was terrible. Guess this is why the term " mileage varies" was created. And for an example of a truly awful host, i have two words : January Jones.
  16. When I watch Goodbye Radar now,,it's like Gary decided to not try to act young anymore. .his voice doesn't have the aw shucks quality, his body language is different,it's like a different character with Radars name. But the show never really was the same without him. Add to that the tone of the show changing. I think maybe one season after Radar leaving should have been enough.

  18. Gary was in the last reunion special, where the cast sat around on a recreated MASH set. That's a really nice thing to watch, because now William Christopher, Harry Morgan,Allan Arbus and David Ogden Stiers have left us.
  19. My understanding was it was a cap hed worn before he left for Korea, not as a boy.
  20. So sad. I often walk past my dogs lying on the floor and say "Gentlemen..." as they wag their tails. Thank you, sir.You were an elegant man in every sense.
  21. And..since I'm 57...I could be his ..grandmother. ...what's happening?
  22. that's troubling. I think shes funny, but more importantly..a good person. Hope her friends are there for her
  23. Jingleheimer Junction..I smile just thinking about it.."In and out and in and out..."
