Brandi did a interview with a San Francisco radio station, http://www.iheart.com/show/139-The-Doghouse/?episode_id=27442393 . I am noting this because Brandi talked crap about Lisa and Kyle in this interview so if at a future point when they say something about her, which I prefer they not do on RHoBH, that it will be clear that it's not an out of nowhere, gratuitous comment about poor, defenseless Brandi who does not have a platform. By the way I disagree with Brandi's claim that she lacks a platform. The interview is from 19:15-27:52. Her theory is that Lisa Vanderpump is behind her not being brought back full-time. She was asked a leading question about if not kissing Andy Cohen's ass led to her not being on the show, she said it was possible and to ask Andy. She was asked if what happened between her and the Richards sisters, particularly Kyle, contributed to her not being brought back, she said no and that's when she brought up that she thinks Lisa was behind her not being brought back. She goes on to say that she dislikes Kyle immensely and expects Kyle to do well on Celebrity Apprentice because she's a great liar, very manipulative and has a lot of rich friends. Brandi also sent out a tweet saying the same thing a few days prior to her interview, see below. One of the interviewers said that he is a recovering addict and that Kim was the biggest liar of all because he thinks she was using. Brandi replies that Kim's situation is different and Kim was lying to herself more than anyone, you can't force anyone to get sober they have to want to do it themselves and that others were pointing it out and talking about her when it was not their business. She also made a comment that she's made before, she said she is not acting but being herself but at the same time she is featured a few minutes each week so we don't get the full picture. My response to that is that her behavior in other media like her podcast, interviews, Twitter, etc. does not contradict what we see on the show nor indicate that there are sides to her that went unseen. Brandi said that the owners sold the house, I take it the house she is referring to the house she had the housewarming for in season 5. She states that she was in temporary housing, presumably the apartment she moved to last summer but IIRC in a previous podcast she said that her kids like the apartment, don't want to keep moving and she plans to stay there and not move until she buys a house. Brandi mentioned having a new show, she did not go into detail but she invited Jill to film with her helping her decorate her new place. Brandi's hairdresser Mark is a mutual friend. Mark moved with Brandi to the new place. Jill invited Brandi to come visit her in the Hamptons this summer, she also invited Mark and Brandi's sons. Brandi quickly shot down the idea of bringing her kids and said it would be horrific.

Yeah that was a really weird claim on Brandi's part. I think that Brandi feels a need to put LeAnn and Scheana in their place and position herself as Eddie's numero uno and that is why she says things like Eddie slept with every cocktail waitress in LA. Of course Eddie cheated on Brandi but I think that she'd rather Scheana and LeAnn think that they were one of many conquests of his rather than he actually liked them and he wanted to have a relationship with them that went beyond sexual. Brandi was the same with Lisa Vanderpump and with that relationship you can see how crazy and strange Brandi is. I know the word crazy gets thrown around a lot but Brandi really is crazy IMO. A caveat, I think that Lisa V is shady and did some shady things regarding Brandi but at the same time Brandi wanted on the show and overlooked Lisa's shadiness, the same is true with Lisa overlooking Brandi's shadiness. Brandi swung back and forth between wanting to be numero uno with Lisa but at the same time resenting Lisa for her relationship with Scheana, her two-sidedness, and "mothering" her. Brandi glommed onto Lisa, then attacked her, then tried to get Lisa to take pity on her, attacked her again, obsessed over her and so forth. I bet a million bucks Eddie Cibrian experienced a similar, and probably much worse, roller coaster with Brandi. Brandi had Jill Zarin on her latest podcast. Brandi has moved for the eleventy-first time.

Excellent point except that I certainly don't appreciate Brandi more! IMO Brandi had to go because she ran her course, had become exhausting and toxic, and had alienated and menaced the other women to the point that they did not want to interact with her. The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills does not need Brandi Glanville herself but I do think that they benefit from having someone who can cause drama and be drama more effortlessly. Having said that, I don't know if I would want to be Brandi and have my crazy memorialized only to be cut after four seasons and not have a lot to show for it. I think that a distinction should be drawn between someone like Brandi versus someone like Tamara who seems to have done a better job at making hay while the sun shines, and making the sun shine last longer. ETA: Having said that, part deux, I don't think that her absence has caused a ratings free fall.

I consider the story of how you got your dog a rescue. IMO Lisa V. rescued Daddio (Giggy's dad) from a breeder, Harrison (the new Pom) from the SPCA and it seems like Pumpy was a rescue as well from a trainer or breeder. I don't consider Giggy a rescue, he was purchased from a breeder and when it turned out he had a medical condition Lisa chose not to put him down, kudos to her for that assuming that Giggy has a good quality of life, which some question, but I don't consider that a rescue any more than if I bought a non-rescue dog from a pet store and a few years later it got injured, I was given the option to have the dog euthanized but chose to have the dog treated and committed to giving it the proper care for the rest of its life. YMMV but I don't think I get to reclassify the dog from a dog I purchased to a dog I rescued.

Giggy was not a rescue he was from a breeder. He developed alopecia after Ken gifted him to Lisa and the breeder recommended that he be put down and they would give Lisa another dog. Lisa went against advice and did not put him down - she has the resources to care for him and it has worked out well (for her, not sure about Giggy) because Giggy.has become a celebrity in his own right. Lisa did rescue another alopecic Pomeranian not too long ago.

Brandi is saying that he is getting in the way of her using what she had already written. My guess is that he will allow her to use what she what she's written but he wants to be compensated for what was written on his watch and Brandi does not want to and decided to get around compensating him by writing new content. If he helped broker the deal then he is entitled to something from the upcoming book. I wonder if this is going to be Brandi's 2016-2017 legal drama. Yes I caught that, thanks for posting it!

Brandi did an interview with an Australian radio team from 38:45-48:05. I think that the most interesting part comes at 46:20 where she says she had to fire her book agent, aka gaygent. According to her this has caused a delay in the release of her third book because he will not allow her to use the content of what she already written. Regarding her wine it is not yet a success but it is doing well where it is available, it's in seven states, but it is slow process getting in stores but she expects to make big money down the road.

Both Brandi and LeAnn are emotionally arrested, nutty and narcissistic. IMO both Brandi and LeAnn are evenly matched when it comes to bad and nutty behavior and questionable character, actually I think Brandi is worse but I know plenty who think LeAnn is worse. Both Brandi and LeAnn have people who are obsessed with them as fans and detractors, but among LeAnn's detractors are ones who document and replay LeAnn's crazy acts and transgressions, Brandi's detractors aren't as invested in that particular way. Is the cake tacky and creepy,* yes but so was Brandi tweeting a picture of a young guy sitting on a child's bed with the accompanying statement that she's going to have sex on Batman (or whatever) sheets but Brandi's crazy and weird acts don't have the same shelf life as LeAnn's. * Not that the cake wasn't tacky and creepy but the message/theme was not two little boys sitting in the vicinity of their father and stepmother having sex, rather the cake was of Eddie's favorite things and there were other add-ons like his favorite sports team and things like that.

IMO Kim went after Taylor as much if not more than Taylor went after Kim. The one time Taylor went after Kim, LVP put her up to it - for the record I don't give Taylor a pass for doing Lisa's bidding. I can see why Taylor wasn't all that pleased with Kim if one minute she's all "I get nervous!" when asked what she witnessed, but then ostensibly a few minutes later she's trying to call out Taylor. Also IIRC that night in New York may have been one of those filmings where the Kim's bad side was on display but her bad behavior ended up on the cutting room floor. I do think Taylor liked flaunting in Kim and Lisa's face that she and Queen Bee Kyle hit it off. At the time of the season two reunion Taylor and Lisa were getting along, but their previous bad blood had to be addressed. I think bringing up the snarky Giggy Twitter account is one of the more benign explanations from Taylor regarding why she didn't get along with Lisa. Overall Taylor tried to explain it away that she did not get Lisa's British humor. What I find odious and downright perverse was how Taylor was willing to use her marriage for a plotline knowing how volatile it was.* However it should be noted that Taylor's initial "character sketch" was that she and her gay BFF were business partners but apparently that footage was not very interesting and the producers took an interest in Taylor and Russell's marriage. I think Russell was violent towards Taylor and that is not acceptable, but yeah I am pretty sure that his and hers alcohol use played a role in quite a few of their altercations, and that Taylor minimized her role and tried to craft the image that she was a timid little mouse whose husband abused her for arbitrary reasons. Given how Kim, Lisa and Brandi were able to attain and maintain their popularity for a significant period of time, I put them way ahead of Taylor when it comes to their skills in grifting and/or manipulating. ETA: * It was also perverse of Russell to go along with the Armstrong marriage plotline. Additional perversities were Taylor's active involvement with an organization that serves abuse victims, and Russell involvement with substance abuse centers. They were a very strange pair.

I always felt Reality TV Taylor was one of the least canny housewives, yeah she tried to play "the game" but it usually blew up in her face - I suspect that Taylor comes across better in person than on TV. To be sure Taylor is a fervid social climber, and does have skills in that area, but I don't fault her for being able to make rich and influential friends because she knows how to stroke their egos. Russell had a history of domestic abuse and other violence that preceded Taylor. Pre-Taylor, he had also gotten in hot water re his business and/or other financial dealings. Taylor's history pre-Russell is pretty clean, her biggest crime was getting that lip implant. ;-) Some deem Taylor's name changes as suspicious but they were legal name changes which is not easily doable if you have a criminal history and / or credit malfeasance, and Taylor's name changes were straightforward court filings. I don't doubt think that Russell was physically violent towards Taylor, and I believe that Russell was unhinged enough to go after Taylor for no good reason, but I am pretty sure that alcohol on both sides, Taylor's emotional volatility and/or her assholery also played a role in a good chunk of their altercations I think Taylor is a villain in that she can be an asshole, disingenuous, opportunistic, and has screwed up values, but I don't think that she had/has what it takes to be the big, bad grifter extraordinaire that she's been accused of being.

Harvey Levin has acknowledged being gay but not in a splashy way, or perhaps he is not enough of a celebrity for his announcement to make a splash. For me the problem is that low-life Brandi did not know he was already out and thought that she was breaking news by outing him on Twitter. The interesting thing is that TMZ seemed (IMO) somewhat biased in Brandi's favor when it came to the Krupa lawsuit.

Brandi outed Harvey Levin except he's not exactly in the closet but the Truth Cannon did not know that and felt compelled to tweet that he should #be honest #own it.

It is odd that Brandi's new "#badassbitch" attorney's name has not appeared yet, there have been two articles fed to TMZ that address the approach being taken by the defense in Krupa v. Glanville, yet the attorney's name does not appear. I would think that the reason any attorney would take her broke ass on as a client would be for the publicity. I wouldn't be surprised if the #badassbitch representing Brandi is Brandi herself, one of her Twitter superfans or the cousin of a superfan who hasn't passed the bar. Re Andy's recent comment, my genuine question to Andy is if he likes Brandi so much and thinks she's such great TV, why doesn't he ink a development deal with her and pitch a show to Bravo. Heck it's not like you have to have a lot of skin in the game, Bravo may greenlight a limited run show like Kandi's Ski Trip. If I had to guess Brandi has value as a WWHL guest and he wants to maintain that relationship but she really isn't a proven ratings grabber when it comes to being a cast member on a reality TV show.
