  1. Yes, I'm sure that team flash killing iris will lead to less angsty.

I re-watched the episode and lmao at Barry using the elevator to out run the speed wraiths, who would have thought that elevators are faster than speedsters.

  2. I also suspect that the relationship drama is just to leave the couples in a place where the next episode will make sense, they wanted to break them up so that music master or whatever his name is will teach Barry and kara a lesson about love.

Barry and Iris are not the kind of couple to do the usual cw drama with, its out of character for both Barry and iris who have known each other their whole lives and have been in love too long, its just not realistic. The writers had to make up this fake drama to pull it off. I just hope that this is the last time they do so, just let the couple be, they can introduce drama another way.

I'm actually glad Jessi is gone, I love Jessie, but we already have too much speedsters, I'm ready to see Barry take down savitar on his own without help from the team. Let's have smart Barry for once

  3. I was spoiled going into this episode, but nothing prepared me for how stupid that last scene was. It makes no sense any way you try to slice it.

"You were right, I proposed to you for the wrong reason. Even though I love you, I am going to embrace the future where you die and dump you, then move out so that the evil speedster that is running free will find it easier to capture and kill you in the future." Good job Barry. This has to be the most stupid reason for a breakup on TV.

The rest of the episode was pretty good. I hope Barry have finally learned his lesson and become the hero we can root for, and he can start that by getting back with iris as quickly as possible.

And it didn't escape me that savitar told Jessi that he have already lived all this, hmmm.

  4. Now about who savitar might be,

    50% chance its barry

    30% chance its wally

    10% chance its eddie

10% chance its someone we've not met.

I choose Barry as most likely, because of the following:

Savitar said its you or me, that means he's existence depends on Barry, as a matter of fact, he also said something like that to iris, so Iris needs to die and Barry have to watch her die to become savitar.

"From my perspective you are the villain". Barry created flash point, which savitar must feel was not a heroic thing to do.

The mention of flashpoint might not be a coincides, this season started with flash point and I feel like it was not properly concluded, and that the season's arc must be somehow related to it, so savitar might be Flashpoint's Barry or another version of Barry created as a result of flashpoint.

And finally, " your greatest enemy was not reverse flash or zoom, but me". I believe that Barry worst enemy is himself. He created most of his broblems, he constantly makes the wrong decisions, and I believe for him to become a great hero, he has to defeat himself.

  5. This is one of the best episodes this season, wrong directing choice and bad writing prevented it from being a perfect episode. The story was there, emotions were high, they had everything, then they ruined it. Anyways, I still enjoyed it.

This was a big wally episode, I loved that the gravity of his sister's life completely depending on him finally started weighing on him, until this episode he had not grasped how huge that was. And predictably, he started loosing it, and Barry being a dick to him left him vulnerable to saviter's manipulations. I don't blame wally for throwing the stone into the speed force, as far as he knows the remaining piece must be the reason savitar was not completely gone. But I do blame him for not informing the rest which have already figured out that the last piece was what was keeping savitar imprisoned.

I understand iris putting off the engagement, but I still understand why Barry did what he did, both were right.

I love Julian I hope he doesn't die.

While Caitlin's action ended up being a good thing, it doesn't make sense that Barry would go off on wally for not saying anything about seeing savitar and then say nothing about Caitlin keeping the stone, especially as far as they knew then, not getting rid of the whole stone was a bad thing.

Barry just standing there as wally screamed for help was terrible, I don't even blame Barry, I blame the director, they could at least made Barry try to pull wally out, but can't.

The person I feel for the most after this episode is Joe, he just lost a son, and may loose a daughter too, he must be really messed up.

  6. So, I see the continued tradition that anytime Barry and Iris have a big romantic moment, the 'sibling' argument rears its head. This is season 3 and this is still going on, when is it going to stop? season 10, when Bart Allen arrives? or maybe when one of them dies. OK.

I think that Barry's story about his great grand parents might be a foreshadowing, Barry may get lost in the speed force and have to fight his way back to Iris.

I also hope that Savitar is not someone we know, for once let the villain be a stranger to Barry.

  7. I never read any comicbook, but love comicbook movies and show, especially when they embrace the comicbook part, so I really enjoyed Grodd and Solover, their fight was over the top and entertaining.

What I did not enjoy was dumbing Barry down as always, their is no reason why Barry can't out run the female vibe's (forgot her name) blast, and why he couldn't stop Joe earlier.

I rolled my eyes so much whenever they talk about Barry's humanity in relation to killing Grodd. I kept saying, ' He's a freaking Gorilla' out loud.

I love Cisco and the female vibe.

Unpopular opinion, I love HR, though I will miss Harry, Tom is so sexy to me, I love every character played by him.

I miss Julian, I really fell in love with his character, his seriousness cracks me up every time.

Wally and Jessi are very cute, but I wish Jessi will go back to earth two, too much speedsters.

  8. Okay, I ship Westallen and have always loved them, but I've never enjoyed them as much as I did this episode. The first scene between them was so natural, fun and sexy, it actually surprised me that Grant and Candice were that comfortable around each other.

Then the proposal made me feel some type of way, thats hands down the best westallen scene ever for me. The setting, the music, Grant, Candice, and finally the story Barry told were all great. I loved the story so much that I would watch a movie about it, I might have thought about Barry's grandparents more than necessary, lol. Well, kudos to the writers, director and actors, that was a beautiful scene.

  9. I know we were supposed to feel relief when Conner walked through the door, I did not care, I wish they would just elope and go get married off screen, coliver is so boring and does not make sense anyway you slice it. Thank God I still have Michaela/Asher, the only relationship that is realistic on this show.

Aww, Frank is back and the murder twins and their mother are reunited together again, lol. Not going to lie, it warmed my heart to see these crazy people together again.

Wes murder was one of the most brutal thing I have ever watched on TV.  I'm so pissed, but what really gets me is that it was all for nothing, nothing more than for shock value. Some stupid killer killed him, for what exactly? Laurel's dad is a racist or what? The writers were all just making it up as they go, they choose Wes because people were complaining about him, nothing more.

I like Laurel, but if this story line is anything to go by, it's going to be the Laurel show next season, that does not excite me in anyway, I wish Pete Nowalk cared about Michaela at all, they just keep shitting on her storyline, I wish Aja could get a better show where she can shine.

This season has been a huge letdown, it started so well but along the way it got so pointless. All the build up on Wes back-story to just kill him off, all the build up to who killed Wes for it to turn out to be Laurel's dad and a killer we care nothing about.

Laurel telling Connor to kill himself was homophobic because of the high suicide rates among LGBTQ people

what? how was that homophobic, she didn't tell him to kill himself because he was gay? I get a lot of people love Connor because he is a gay character and we don't have much of that on TV, but the length people go to defend him even when he is being despicable surprises me. Let any other character do half of what Conner dose and see people label him/her the worse. Wes with everything that has happened to him, get little sympathy from viewers, but most people make excuses for Connor and go out of their way trying to understand him while Wes, Michaela and Asher hardly get any of that.

It's not just that they killed Wes with what appears to be no real game plan, motivation or plot, it's that I now can no longer even offer a passable level of support for Annalise.  She loved Wes "like a son," but she not only threw him under the bus with the quickness, but she did it to save herself and that worthless piece of crap, Connor, who I personally wouldn't open a stick of gum for.  By episode's end, I officially can't stand him or Oliver and the worst thing that can happen to either of them is to be saddled with the scummy awefullness that is the other.

Thank you, this pissed me off.

  12. First, I have to call bullshit on Michaela's statement about being friends with Conner and their having each other backs, in three season I have not seen that, I wish the writers will stop forcing Michaela to be the black best friend to Conner, its not believable and its starting to piss me off.

The scene with Laurel blaming Conner was a great scene; I felt a little bad for Connor.

Oh I take it back, “all your sons are dead”, God I hate Connor, Annalise should have bitch slapped him like she did that pervert.  But, that was another great scene.

So, the son is Wes’ dad, I guess he doesn't age.

Yes, Oliver, we get that you love Conner, but he makes it easy for people to hate him. I found it funny that after Oliver complained about the group not caring enough about Conner that Asher's reaction was to start eating.

I hate that they are blaming everything on Wes, it’s not fair, the way they keep blaming him for Sam's murder is awful, he was saving Rebeca from a murderer. It’s like the writers decided to listen to Wes haters that blame Wes for everything. How could Annalise even do this to Wes? Laurel is right, no one would want to be remembered as a murderer.

I hope that meeting with Mahony Jr. is not going to put Michaela in danger next season.

  13. Yes, I am All caught up.

So the writers felt it wasn't enough that I hate Oliver and Nate, now they had to go make me hate Conner too, okay. I liked him before, but mostly for his antagonistic relationship with Michaela, but now I just can't stand him and his passive aggressive behavior. Just like someone already said, I wish he would be revealed as the person who killed Wes so that he could get off the show and take Oliver with him, but since he was shown to be reviving Wes, I don't think he killed him. But am still hopeful that he is somehow involved so that he can stop claiming to be so innocent and stop blaming Wes and Annalise for everything.

I love Michaela, but I was disappointed she shut Asher down like she did, thankfully, she is now open to the idea that Conner could sell them out, Conner is just out for himself.

Asher, never change, my favorite character after Michaela and Annalise, I won't be opposed to you loosing your temper again and beating the asshole out of Conner again.

never liked Oliver and Nate, but I kinda liked them this episode.

I think It will be interesting if Laurel killed Wes. I like that the writers are starting to build on her relationship with Michaela.

Oh Bonnie, never change, she was just giving Conner this killer look when Asher was accusing Conner, I was thinking that Conner better watch his back or he may end up like Rebbecca, not that I would mind.

I love Frank, I really enjoy his character, its a shame that he is a better lawyer than Bonnie.

I miss badass Annalise too, thankfully, she might be making a comeback next episode. the season finale is going to be insane.

  14. Best episode this season.

I love HR, I know I'm in the minority. I just can't seem to hate any character being played by Tom on this show.

Wally is so adorable this episode, I enjoyed his scenes wit HR. I think there is a possibility he's the one to betray them.

Cisco and Caitlin's friendship is so heart-warming, glad that she was the one to help him.

Barry/Iris scenes were so beautiful, Grant and Candice do have a beautiful, unforced, natural chemistry. I think the second half of the season is going to focus on them, especially with Barry trying to change the future, I hope Iris also have a hand in saving herself. I am no worried, they are not killing Iris off permanently, I actually welcome that this might give her a long arc this season. If Iris gets lost in the future that would be great and create exiting possibilities for the writers to take the show.

I love how they writers used her job to help team flash find out about Julian.

Julian is a good addition to team flash, but I don't think he's done being Alchemy, though there is a foreshadowing that Cisco might end up being Alchemy too.

I have nothing against Barry trying to change the future, its not written yet, unlike the past which was already set, they are not the same thing. Its obvious that Barry will be the one with a fate worse than death, either from thinking Iris is dead, or being trapped in the speed-force or both.

I jut hope Joe is not the one to die.

The second half of the season is going to be interesting.

  15. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, I think its Marvel best origin film except for Iron-man. I loved every character

Strange arrogance was well portrayed by Benedict, and I love that the film didn't end with him completely humbled, he arrogance was still there though toned down. I think what I love most about this film and Strange is that he didn't defeat the villain with strength or even magic, at the end, he did it with just being clever. This is the same for everyone he fought, he's not even yet the great sorcerer supreme, we clearly see him struggle.

I fell in love with the ancient one, I've never seen that actress in anything before and she won me over with her performance. I love that she is flawed and also a bad ass.

Mordo's arc was convincing and I don't believe he will be a full fledged villain, rather an anti-hero.

Wong is one of my favourite, I lol when he started laughing after they defeated dormamu.

I love that the love interest was not really a love interest, but an ex, I;ll love to see more of her in the sequels

The villain was well used, understood his motivations and he served his purpose. What we got of him was enough, I didn't need to see more of him or him training under the ancient one. The actor did a great job too.

And the Cloak, I love it.

I can't wait to see Strange in Thor 3.

    Favourite quotes;

"you cannot win", " yes, but I can loose, again, again and again, and that makes you my slave".

    "Mr..".

    "Doctor"

    "Mr doctor"

    "its strange"

    "who am I to judge".

lol, Marvel never disappoints, I've loved all their films.

And Rachel McAddams was a doctor but she still didn't have a damn thing to do.

I don't know what else her character could do in this movie. Most of this movie is set in the mystical world, there is no room for a character like hers in it. She served her purpose as Strange's link to the real world, anything more and she would be shoehorned into the movie. Short of having everyone turn up injured at the hospital or have her go into the mystical world, there is nothing more they could have done with her.

I enjoyed her character and was pleasantly surprised they didn't get back together in this movie, and she have good chemistry with Strange.

I don't see it as shock value. It was plot driven. I am always impressed with a show that is willing to "go there" and kill off a main character. The ripples of this will be long and deep. The thing to remember is these are anti-heroes.  Just like we cheering for Walt to get away with his deeds on Breaking Bad, love Omar ripping and running and Stringerbell doing everything he did, we love watching  characters like this. I am excited to see what comes next. I doubt Frank is let back into Annalise's good graces anytime soon, but he'll be back in Philly and in contact with Bonnie. The fact that we had Wes's back story is why his death has meaning. If he was just another student in AK's class we wouldn't care one bit.

No, it was for shock value, when show runners don't even know who to kill by the seventh episode, its shock value and lack of good planning. I read the producer's interview. And I call bullshit on the risk taking, hey choose Wes because most people were complaining about him, and felt that he won't be missed, They will never kill Conner off.

I appreciate this viewpoint, but I'm afraid I still think Barry and Iris have all the chemistry of a pile of wet leaves

It's okay, chemistry is subjective, it will always be different to different people.

This is why I think its counter productive for writers to listen to viewers when it comes to which couple they should develop in a show, because, even when some vocal fan base cry chemistry/no chemistry, they can never satisfy everyone. they should just write for the pair they like and want to pursue and try their best to do it justice, so that even people that don't like the pairing can at least understand them.

But were it not for Wes' Rebecca obsession, Sam and Rebecca probably would not have been killed

Being obsessed with someone is not a crime, and Rebeca was being framed for murder. No, Wes' obsession, did not get Rebeca and Sam killed. Bonnie killed her to shut her up and Sam got what he deserved. I might be remembering this wrong, but I thought they wanted to turn themselves in, but Annalise convinced them not to, that she would protect them.

  21. Another thing; the show made oliver a regular just to kill off Wes and replace him with him. If they make Annalise start caring for him as a son, I will break something. To think we still have to deal with useless Nate and annoying Oliver, while Wes is dead.

I hope the show doesn't go there with Michaela/Laurel, I once thought of the possibility, but no, I love Michaela/Asher

Annalise/Bonnie, thought about it before, but big no.

I can't wait to find out who killed Wes, I don't think its going to be suicide, making his death a murder, gives them more story.

At least my baby Michaela is alive and I can't wait to get more of her back story. If Michaela was the one who was murdered, I would not have watched an extra episode, the same why I never watched an extra episode after detective Carter was killed off on person of interest.

Man. I think Wes' death hits so hard because you think about his three years on the show and how brutal his entire history was. His mother literally killed herself to protect him which inadvertently sends him into Annalise's arms which leads to a dead girlfriend and a generally miserable experience until his death.

And now the Mahoney storyline can gain even more weight if they did end up killing him as there's something brutally realistic about a rich, white family completely destroying a poor, black family.

I hope Laurel goes on the warpath.

This is why I'm so mad they killed Wes, it was all for shock value. I don't even think the writers really thought about the massage its sending that in a story where characters like Frank and Bonnie gets away with murder, a character like Wes who have been through so much was killed off and wasted like that. I would not have been this pissed if we didn't explore his back story with his mother. And I don't get it when people blame Wes for killing Annalise's husband, it was an accident that happened because he was protecting a girl from a murderer. Rebeca annoyed me as much as anyone, but at the end of the day, a young girl was murdered and it dose not make Wes a bad guy that deserves to be killed for caring about what happened to her.

I have to defend Wally on this point. Yes, they said they didn't want to know about their FP lives, but the minute Barry found out that Alchemy was giving back people from FP their powers, going after them one by one, he should have told Wally. It was only a matter of time before Alchemy would go after Wally (especially since he went after The Rival, Wally's main enemy in FP). If Barry had told them they'd have had more time to come up with and execute a plan instead of this last ditch plan they went with now.

Wanting to help people in the way you feel you were meant to is not the same as wanting to be called a hero. Wanting to be a hero is not the same as wanting to be called a hero (I missed the first few minutes, so maybe I missed something he said?). Wally has always felt that void, that need, as if there was something missing. I think that he was also Kid Flash in the original timeline (the real original timeline, the one Eobard changed to the timeline we've come to know) and has always felt somehow that that speed was missing. If the Speedforce is really something that transcends time itself, I think it makes sense that you feel the loss of it even in another timeline.

I agree and its no surprise that Wally has always been the guy in love with speed, even before he knew Barry was the flash. It makes sense for him to crave that speed especially when Jessi who was hit by the particle accelerator with him has super speed, to top it off, he kept getting these dreams of him as kid flash.
