I don't see the "heart eyes" and the chemistry. I know, I know, I'm in a minority here. But, I see her with far more sexual chemistry with D'avin or Alvis than with John. I totally get how those who see that chemistry want some steam. I just don't see it. To me, they have awesome "I love you forever/ Ride or Die" chemistry. It's just the same as I see with say Oliver & Thea on Arrow. Two BAMFs that can be partners kicking butt even when one of them is more "the boss" in the field but they'd do anything at all for eachother.

I just always took the characters at their word, right from episode 1, where they referred to eachother as siblings, not lovers. Maybe that's why I can't get past the idea that they're going to end up lovers. They're more like brother and sister and it's kind of incesty.

I agree. I never got any romantic vibe from D/J, they have non sexual chemistry while D/D have romantic chemistry imo. Dutch almost treats Johnny like a younger brother to be protected, while being open about how bad things are with Davin. I think that's why the writers always give the serious discussions to d/d, like the "abuse", talk. I've kind of noticed this since the first season. They writers would give d/j all the sweet best friend discussions and give d/d all the angst, fight and sometimes dark and serious discussions.

I like that tptb never gave in to fan wishes and kept on doing what they wanted.

Talking about relationships, I love Annela's parents. I hope they get reunited before the show ends

  2. This movie was so emotional, top three marvel movie definitely. That a movie like this with more than 20 main characters worked so well is miracle, and to top it off, Thanos was a great villain, marvels best villain imo.

Thor, Dr Strange, Gamora and Thanos stole the movie. My love for thor grew so much more. I always loved Gamora and Strange but they just became some of my favorite characters in the MCU. Dr Strange was so badass when he faced Thanos alone, best fight scene in the movie, visually stunning and so trippy, I can’t wait for his sequel now. Is it weird I find Benedict sexy as Strange? Zoe did an incredible job with Brolin, the movie wouldn’t have worked without these two.

The Guardians crack me up whenever they are on screen, Rocket and Drax especially. Quill is still Quill and I will always love him even though he messed up, but that was in character for him, like Tony he is very emotional.

I was a bit disappointed with Cap and the rest of the group from earth, they had little screen time. I know cap will get better focus in part two, the Russos said that the ones that did not have focus here will get more in the next one.

Spiderman was great, Tom broke my heart in this movie, he keep proving that he is the best Spiderman on screen. I saw some people on twitter saying he improvised that part, if so, that guy is going to do great in his career.

So I guess all the snapped death are coming back and one or two of the original will die, my guess is Tony and Clint. I hope none dies, I’m not part of the “stakes” crowd, they can go to hell with that “stakes” talks.

I also don’t think Gamora is gone, she is in the soul stone and can be freed. If they wanted her gone, the directors would have had Thanos stab her, but just throwing her down the cliff gives a wriggle room for her to be back. She’s coming back.

    Best lines;

Where, who and why is Gamora

Is it still the greatest movie on earth? “It never was!”, Tom’s delivery killed me.

The Kevin bacon being an avenger part

I am Steve Rogers. Steve was so earnest here, lol

The whole exchange between Thor and the guardians “this is a man”, “Rabit”, Quill making his voice deeper, Quill getting between Gamora and Thor.

Stop embarrassing me in front of the wizards

Strange and Stark combo was great too, two narcissist, so alike, yet so different.

Buck and Rocket were great too.

    Bring in next year Marvel.

  3. Such a great movie, I didn't want to leave this world, it was so engaging. This movie has the most developed supporting characters in any comic book film. Everything was near perfect, the world building, the cinematography, the score, the writing, the actors and their characters were perfect.

The hype for Killmonger was huge and I was expecting T'Challa to be over shadowed, but I was pleasantly surprised with T'Challa's growth and development in the movie. T'Challa is a rare kind of comicbook hero. He relies on the women in his life without thinking less if them and trusts them completely, he is not smug, proud or a play boy, admits his fault and is open to learning, he is compassionate and genuinely has a good heart. I completely fell in love with this character, he is my second favourite character after Shuri.

Shuri was so adorable, smart and brave. She didn't even hesitate to fight killmonger even though she knew she couldn't possibly take him down. She and M'baku were the funniest characters. Her relationship with her brother was so believable.

M'baku took me by surprise, his character wasn't even on my radar going into the movie, but he became my third favourite character. He was funny, sexy and more than anything his character was well developed. What struck me about him was that he started out as an antagonist, but when he had the perfect opportunity to become king, he didn't take it. He could have taken the flower without telling them about saving T'Challa, but he didn't, he is a man of honour.

Nakia was beautiful, badass and compassionate. She had similar ideology to killmonger, but she was moved more by compassion and doing the right thing while killmonger was mostly driven by anger, bitterness and vengeance. I also loved Nakia's relationship with T'Challa, Shuri and Ramonda.

Killmonger was great, Michael did a great job and he is the best marvel villain along with Loki. By the end of the movie I wished I could have seen an alternative timeline where king T'chaka took him back home and raised him with T'Challa.

Okoye was so badass. "For Wakanda? Absolutely." Such a great Line.

The Dora milajes were perfect, I loved watching them in action.

Ramonda was great and I loved watching her, Nakia and Shuri save T'Challa. That scene where they were calling on Bast and the ancestors to save T'Challa brought tears to my eyes, seeing these women on their knees trying g to save their loved one was so pure and symbolic of women holding the family together.

Every character was perfect including W'kabi. I can't wait to get back to this world in Infinity war.

Its getting harder now ranking MCU movies, I'll just say that this is one of the best of MCU movies.

  4. Great episode, better than last week. I love Ralph, I know its blasphemy, but I enjoy him more than Wally and I don't miss Wally. I love Wally, but, it took me by suprise that I don't miss him.

Westallen were great and I love Ralph development. I can't wait to find out who the waitress is.

  5. Loved this episode, started a little slow but finished with a bang. I can't wait to see how Barry gets out of this one. Sad to lose the old devoe, hello sexy devoe. Defoe's wife sure traded up. Dominic is played by the actor that played Caleb hapstall on how to get away with murder.

Glad iris and the flash writers shaded olicity and Barry put their gift in the return pile LMAO. And no, they didn't ruin iris character. Happy that the writers didn't turn iris into the bonnie Bennet of the arrowverse, the black friend that never gets mad at the white friend, is there for the white character, but nobody is there for her. Glad that iris spoke up, that's the iris I fell in love with.

I think team flash is really coming together, they really felt like a family. Loved that iris is always ready to make the tough call. Caitlin was also great in the way she outsmarted the woman who kidnapped her. Loved Harry's interaction with both iris and Caitlin.

Westallen were great as usual. Barry choosing not to run for Iris was sweet and Grant acted the hell out of that scene. Still like Ralph, he's hilarious. Cant wait for next episode.

  6. I've seen olicity fans on twitter that were happy with the double wedding but still agreed that Felicity could have waited a few seconds for Barry and iris to finish before interrupting. I'm surprised that olicity fans here can't even admit that the timing was wrong. I can still love a character and still admit when they are wrong, I love Barry, but I still roast him more than anyone on team flash.

Iris and Barry were used as plot device on this cross over, I'm used to Iris being treated this way, but was surprised that Barry would be sidelined on the flash part of the crossover. I guess that's what marriage is about, you share both the good and the ugly. Infact all team flash were sidelined, especially Wally and Cisco.

The cross over was good, loved the iris/Felicity team up. i really have to start watching legends, the show looks fun. Supergirl and Arrow just don't do it for me.

  7. Under whelming episode.

Starting to like Connor again and even Oliver who I hated.

    Michaels is Annalise junior,

poor asher, he never wanted any part in this.

Still mad at Laurel for starting all this, but I felt for her when she was bleeding.

Poor Annalise can't catch a break, *smh*

    Don't care about Nate

I still like watching bonnie and Frank do crazy stuffs, they entertain me with their psychotic behavior.

I wander how they will get out of this one.

I'd vote Lyla and Diggle for that.  They talk, they resolve their issues, they give each other space and independence, she doesn't have to keep propping him.  Barry and Iris still have too many things to resolve in their relationship.  Including being so naive that they think they're the gold standard.

But none of them is the a character. It had to be either Barry/iris, oliver/felicity or Kara/her love interest, of the three, westallen makes the most sense. Why would the cross over focus on them? It would make as much sense as the cross over focusing on Joe/Cecil.

  9. Great episode, one of the best of the series, Devote might even rival reverse flash as the best villain. I like devoe and his wife, their marriage makes them more interesting and humanizes them.

Is it me or are the writers deliberately drawing a parallel between westallen and devoe/wife? I think this might be important to the story moving forward.

  10. Worst episode of the series. For an episode centered on the women, the guys were the most interesting part of it. I don't know any woman that talks like this, "hastag feminism". I can't believe this episode was written by women. smh

Drunk Barry was funny and I just love Ralph, I hope he never leaves.

I'd like to believe that the original intention/plan was to have Sif in the Valkyrie role. Basically Sif would be the Love Interest and fighting partner that helps Thor along with Loki. I mean the role is practically made for Lady Sif. However, once they realized Jamie Alexander was off the table it was rewritten to introduce a new character/LI. This of course makes me really sad because I've been waiting forever for Thor/Sif and for Sif to get a larger role (exactly like Valkyrie had) ?

Other than the lack of Lady Sif I really enjoyed this movie. They did a great job of writing to Helmsworth's strengths. He's not a great actor and, I personally think he stinks with the drama but, he's very charming and does comedy well.

I've never liked the Thor movies although I've always loved Loki and the Loki/Thor relationship. However, this movie was fantastic. The balance of humor and drama, the use of Hulk and Thor (especially Thor fighting at the beginning). The buddy comedy aspect of Thor/Hulk and Valkyrie was a great addition. As someone else mentioned I did get the feeling that the other Valkyrie who died saving 'Scrapper' was her lover.

I'm glad we also got a bigger role God Idris Elba/Heimdall, he's one of my favorite actors in the MCU.

I don't think they were ever going for Thor/sif. Jaimie said they asked for her shortly before filming and by then she couldn't reschedule, by then the Tessa has already been casted. I also think they would have done valkyrie whether sif was avaible or not, based on the casting annoucement of valkyrie. The casting described Tessa's character before she was announced to be playing Valkyrie as a superhero with the potential to appear in future MCU films, so this was not just a Thor thing. Sif might have ended up dead if Jaimie was available, at least this way she might appear later.

Another thing is that Chris and Taika wanted to distant this movie from the first two, so they got rid of most things from the first two. IMHO it worked, hulk/Banner and Valkyrie are huge upgrade from the warriors three and Sif.

Cate Blanchett was gorgeous and funny and terrifying all at the same time.  I am still amazed.

And I loved that it was a video of Nat saying "I need you" that got Bruce back (but it also just makes me even more annoyed with JW over the 'monster' conversation in AoU, because I really like the almost sweet, gentle romance-ish thing that Bruce and Nat have, but that beginning was terribly handled).

I've come to accept nat/banner, I was just frustrated that we were not getting nat/Clint. But now I'm over it. I also liked Thor/Jane, but Thor/Valkyrie has potential to be great. Never liked Thor/sif, people latched on to it because most hated jane/thor.

I have to say that Valkyrie is the best female character in the MCU. I loved that she's not the cliché badass female that is so serious and doesn't have fun. She's truely just one of the guys, she can play with hulk, kickass with Thor and almost out-snark Loki.

Please Taika, do another Thor movie.

  15. Best superhero movie this year and Second best marvel movie after avengers. The last time I had this such fun watching a movie was avengers and guardians of the galaxy. Thor was the first marvel movie I watched, I fell in love with Thor and he was my favourite. After watching iron man and the first avenger, he was still my favourite, but the winter soldier catapulted cap to my number one and the dark world knocked Thor down to one of my least favourite characters in the MCU. But after watching ragnarok, Thor is back to my number one. I remember why I love this character so much along with Loki.

One of the best things this movie did was making us fall in love with every character. Thor, Korg and Valkyrie stole the movie. Loki. Banner and hulk were better than they have ever been. Hela is the best superhero villain this year, Cate killed it as Hela.

    Best scenes were:

Thor fucking things up while the immigrant song was blasting at the beginning and at the end.

    The Thor and hulk fight

    Ride of the Valkyries

Valkyrie playing with hulk, this melted my heart

Loki and Thor in the elevator

Thor, Loki and Dr strange scene

    Ugh. Too many scenes to name. Funniest parts and lines;

    The snake story killed me

"You could have sent an email". " do you have a computer? "," no, what for?"

    "Your saviour is here".

Banner going splat in front of the gaint dog

And how can I ever forget, " hey big guy, suns getting low". I almost died laughing.

This movie is just awesome. I love it so much. I can't wait to see these characters again. Heard that Valkyrie is in infinity war, thank God. I hope Taika dose another Thor movie with this cast. I will check out his movies, I love his style.

I can't recommend this movie enough.

  16. So I see that Oliver, Connor and Nate continue to be boring, should have killed one of them and kept Wes alive. There's nothing that interests me about coliver or Connor's dad,  I can't believe that conner was one of my favourite characters in the first season.

Best part of this episode was these four kickass women working their magic. I would totally watch a show that is just the four of them with Frank and bonnie doing illegal stuff for them and Asher being the comic relief.

Yeah, I'm not going to waste my time speculating what's going to happen, I was wrong the past three seasons, I'm just along for the ride.

Figure the only reason Eddie was a "temporary" love interest was that he killed himself to save Iris and everyone else.  The idea that Iris has grieved and ultimately came to return Barry's feelings still works fine.

People seem to forget that the future newspaper was still showing iris west-allen even after iris chose Eddie. We learnt that the future change as events change in the present. So far as show cannon showed, the only thing that prevented iris from being married to Barry was her death. So I took it that she chose Eddie at the time, but it didn't end well for them.

And it's not just about Eddie dying, eobard thawne was still existing when iris choose Eddie and thawne was not a defendant of Eddie and iris, just Eddie. So whether Eddie died or not, iris was always going to marry Barry.

  18. Great start to the season. I loved every character on screen, everyones storyline was compelling from barry to iris, cisco and caitlin.

Grant is a great actor he did good with crazy barry and candice was perfect in her role too, these two together are magic. Yes the resolution to crazy barry was cheesy but that is what the show has always been, cheesy, so it was ok with me. I loved cisco and iris scenes too, they play off each other well.

Joe shaving Barry was one of my favourites in this episode. Of course the Barry/Iris we got were my favourites too. The westallen scene in the field was shot beautifully and I'm glad that the westallen chemistry is still strong and maybe even better.

The thinker looks like a good villain and I'm glad we are done with speedsters as villains. Barry stopped the samurai alone without help, looking forward to more of that.

This season has the potential to be the best yet with the lighter tone and smarter Barry.

  19. Bryce is really the devil. please someone tell me he didn't get away with it. I hope the season ends with him in jail or someone takes him out so next season's mystery would be who shoot him.

With the exception of Bryce, I never felt any of this kids were irredeemable, I don't even blame most of them for Hannah. I know a lot of people hated Courtney, but i understood how scared she was and felt she still needed redemption, but in this episode, I couldn't stand her. she is almost irredeemable to me now and I hate her with passion, yes even more than i dislike Marcus. this episode was really messed up.

I do think Tony was trying to get the point across that they were all responsible and that they all killed Hannah in a way.

I am sorry, Hannah's death is not on all of them, not Jessica, not Alex, not Sherri, not Zack and definitely not Clay. I hate that this show is trying to put this on Clay of all people. its not upto clay to help someone that didn't want it. She told him to leave, he left and she had the guts to ask him why he left? i'm back to hating Hannah, that she's dead doesn't mean I have to agree with everything she did. Hannah was a smart girl, she knew what this would do to Clay and she did it and put him on this tape, made him guilty and almost suicidal. she wants everyone to suffer like she did.

Hannah is right about one thing, she doesn't deserve Clay, she would have taken him down with her, no teenager has to deal with another teenager with mental issues, Hannah needed help, and none of these kids were qualified or in good head-space to help her. I know no parent would want that burden on their teenage child. So I'm mad at Hannah and Tony for blaming Clay. Thank God that Clay dodged that bullet, Hannah was a handful.

I really felt for Clay and Jessica here, glad that Justin finally told the truth. poor Clay, poor Jessica and poor Jeff who I miss so much.

I'm totally fine with you putting Jessica higher on the list for several reasons. As you said, her rape was a terrible thing and no one deserves to be raped, but her rape also doesn't negate the things she said and did to Hannah both before and after she was raped. She wasn't a very good friend to Hannah outside of their initial friendship with Alex at Monet's. She didn't seem to show any remorse for sneaking around behind Hannah's back to be with Alex and she then took her anger at Alex about the list out on Hannah. Alex at least seemed sorry about what had happened and took some responsibility for his part in Hannah's unhappiness. I know Jess had her own shit to deal with after the rape, but even before that happened she seemed fine with all the choices she had made.

Seriously? Jessica did nothing to Hannah that make her deserve her tape. she hid her relationship with Jeff, slapped her, which she later apologized for. she doesn't want to be friends with her again, how is that bad? no one owes anybody their friendship. then compare what she did to Hannah who saw her being raped and did nothing. if it was the other way round, everyone would never forgive Jessica and we know Hannah would make a tape about Jessica not helping her. most of these kids did what they did out of fear, Hannah was scared too, thats why she never helped Jessica. so if we are going to blame all of them then lets blame Hannah too, what she did was worse than what Jessica did. I guess since she's dead we should absolve her and crucify the rest.

ITA - he respected her wishes by doing what she told him to do, which was to get out and leave her alone. It was not his responsibility to read her mind and know that part of her wanted him to stay. He tried to stay and find out what was wrong but she kept telling him to leave and she was going to keep telling him to leave no matter what he said. I understand why he wants to imagine that if he had just found the right words, he could have saved her but the reality is that even if he had given her that speech, she wouldn't have stopped telling him to leave long enough to hear what he was trying to say. I hope that he is able to forgive himself for not knowing the perfect thing to say in that moment. That's a pretty big burden for someone to carry.

I agree too, which is why I am mad Hannah included him on the tape.

ITA.   I have to wonder the sense that Justin is more to blame or Justin should have done something to stop it....is because he's male or because Hannah died, but Justin is still here or another reason.

Justin didn't bust in the door after Bryce locked him out to stop him.  True.  Hannah sat there while it was happening.  Watched.  Listened.  You could say Justin knew what was probably happening.   Hannah knew for sure.   She didn't do anything or say anything.   One could say she is in shock and afraid.   Sure.   I could make the case the same was true for Justin and he might have even more to lose if he stopped Bryce.

And Justin didn't tell Jessica after what happened.   True.  Neither did Hannah and Hannah knew 100% what happened.  She knew Jessica was conscious.  She knew she told Bryce to stop.   She didn't tell her that she was there and saw it either.   Instead she made a tape for a dozen people to listen to about what happened to Jessica, but never told Jessica.

Justin should have done more to stop it.  Hannah should have done a lot more to stop it.   Both clearly have a ton of regret about that.  The one person who should have done a lot less is of course Bryce.

This. I think its because Hannah is dead and the story is told from her point of view, therefore viewers are bound to empathize with her and absolve her of her faults. for me, she is no different from Justin. I cant seem to empathize with Hannah because of the tapes. it takes a special kind of messed up somebody to plan their suicide, make tapes for people that wronged her and some innocent people too and leave nothing for her parents. that is the biggest fuck-you ever.

  21. Oh God, why Jeff? one of the few people i like. This really hit me hard, what a waste of a young life.

I don't really blame Sherri, Jeff was not far behind her, even if she made the call it wouldn't have stopped what happen, I get why she was sacred. I still don't get why this tape was made for Sherri, Hannah could have reported what happened and she was there, was she blaming Sherri for not coming forward even though they but were guilty of that? and she is twice guilty because she didn't come forward with what happened to Jessica either. What exactly is Hannah's end game? mass suicide?

Good episode. Two things concerning Jessica getting raped. One. What was stopping Hannah from saying anything. This really bothered me. Even if she was too scared to stop the rape from happening she could have at least told Jessica after wards instead of on tape for everybody to hear.  This just made me feel like Hannah wasn't much better than Justin in that regard.

she isn't, what she did is not different from what Justin did, they were too scared that they didn't help a girl in need, bunch of cowards and to think that she blamed Justin not stopping the rape as part of why she killed herself while he did nothing too, SMH.

This episode really bothered me.  I don't understand how Hannah could have witnessed what happened to Jessica, not done anything about it (either during or after), and then dedicated her SECOND TAPE to blaming Jessica for her death!  Yes, Jessica was a shitty friend and did some shitty things to Hannah in the beginning, but what she was did was NOTHING compared to what happened to Jessica (partly because of Hannah's own inaction).

Thank you!  at this point I care more about Jessica and Clay than I care about Hannah. the only thing Jessica did was to blame her for her breakup with Alex and slapped her, which she later apologized for. Hannah saw a girl being raped and did nothing, then she outed her on a tape for everyone to hear about. just imagine if Hannah was the one that was raped and Jessica saw it and didn't do anything, we all know how that tape would sound like. What Hannah and Justine did here is worse than what most of this kids did to her.

  23. Still don't like Hannah. I am yet to be convinced that Hannah killed herself because of what the already mentioned people did to her. So far, she've confronted everyone that hurt her. Tyler, Justin, Jessica and Courtney. Jessica even apologized here for slapping her.

It seems that something terrible later happened to her and that's why she killed herself, but she decided that if she was going to die, that everyone who hurt her in the past would suffer even though she confronted some of them. I think Hannah loved seeing herself as a victim and her ultimate end game is that she wants these people to kill themselves too. I hate this character.
