There was such venom when Dorinda told Sonja to shut up.

Dorinda has this way....this way she winks, clicks her tongue and finger guns ya....that is so venomous, so ugly.  It's a small gesture but it's also the deadness, or something in her eyes.  She's hard, man. Prison bitch hard. She did it to Lu at the After Cab Party and to Beth(?) last week. If anybody watches Below Deck Med, Hannah did the same thing to Conrad in a scene last night. It's just evil and dismissive.

She has this fake-shrink routine that's so incredibly offensive. Her diagnoses are all just euphemisms for negative moral judgments.

She diagnosed Aviva with Munchausen. Long before Kyle made it fashionable in Beverly Hills when referring to Yolanda.

Could it have been her sister?

"I could have gone on but then my sister @teresadifalco called. From Oregon."

It's definitely her sister-in-law. She left off the in-law part.

Just like in in this Vanity Fair article, she is John F Kennedy Jr's cousin. Again, she left the in-law part off. Or someone did.  I doubt she objected.

There are more than a few housewives boards/forums besides this one with the same variance in opinions. Too many for real housewives to monitor much less respond to.

But this is the best board.  One of hundreds but my very favorite and best.

See how easy that was, Carole.  The best.  Top of the heap. Better than all the rest.

  4. Speaking of best friends, Carole just #bestfriend (ed) Duff on Twitter.

That makes 3,26 #bestfriends for Carole. Something tells me 'best' doesn't mean the same to her as it does to me.

Except when I was in 8th grade, I ran with a fabulous circle of people. We were all good friends. But Cathy McCauley used to call me her "bestest, estest, better estest" friend.  Oh, to be 13 again. Or 7.  Or 45.

  5. LuAnn:  She forgives easily. Lots of energy, likes a good time.

Dorinda: Sorry, I got nothin'. I just think she's a black hole.?

Tinsley:  She seems good hearted and generous.

Carole:  I admire that she realized that she needed to take better care of herself and started to exercise and ultimately run the marathon.

Bethenny:  I like her personal style and that she gives to those less fortunate than she.

Sonja: She can laugh at herself. She just seems fun.

Ramona: she seems to have moved on from her divorce better than many people do. Shows inner strength and resolve.

As far as pictures go.... We're talking about the nineties.  I know it's hard to sometimes remember but people did not have cell phones with cameras and you just didn't whip one out to take a picture.  You had to have a real camera in your pocket or purse.  Given Carolyn and JFK jr's relationship with the press, cameras were not a priority when it came to personal interactions.

I disagree. Here's my boyfriend whipping it out. Hot! The Kennedys are famous for documenting their family outtings and shenanigans. And Carole was a journalist, it was her job to document things, dammit! She had one job to do.

Between all of 'em, not one pic?  Anyhooters, we've beaten this to death so I'll just hope Carole is reading this and posts an intimate picture of her and Carolyn on her Twitter just to spite me. ?

Maybe any personal photos are something that Carole just doesn't want out in the universe?

It's possible, but when Carole is willing to put out personal stories to the universe via Page Six about the last time she talked to her deceased best friend, couldn't she at least provide a intimate picture which would add a little warmth to the story?

Instead of another cobbled-together side-by-side shot?

No pictures of them together. None.

But not a single picture of them, casually on their beloved beach, together as couples, not a single picture showing any intimacy between these two women who were allegedly best friends. One of whom was also one of the most photographed women in the world, at that time.

When the book came out, the cover had two separate pictures on it. One of Carolyn and John, and one of Carole and Anthony. Both black and white, both beach scenes, implying they were taken on the same day? Hm. Suspicious.

It started being discussed, online, that there were no pictures of them in the book or anywhere else except for those posted above.  When it was reprinted, the cover had changed. No pictures at all, just four empty adirondack chairs. (I believe the UK version had five pictures on it. Again, no pictures of Carole and Carolyn.)

Instead of all these covers, why not just have one with a picture of the four of them who shared this spectacular friendship that the book was based on.

And when Carole memorialized Carolyn on Twitter last month for her birthday or whatever, why not one personal photograph and not something off of Google that any of us could have pulled. Curious.

  9. Looking for confirmation that Carole lived with her ghost writer sister-in-law in Oregon,  I came across this blog from 2012.

It talks about a lot of things we've discussed here lately. Her bad tweeting habits - her SIL banned her from tweeting way back in 2012, how her writing is truly a cluster, how thirsty she is. Hashtag overload. Check out the very last paragraph.

Bonus clip of the date with the 31-year-old, princess talk with Ramona.  And this:

    Quote

But why didn't I know Sonja when she had five houses, a yacht, and 75 in staff? I'm getting the bankrupt, tap water drinking, poop pill popping Sonja

She likes friends with the money, honey.  Perhaps that blind item about Tinsley not having any is true. Would explain so much.

Carole was right when she told Bethenny that she's the same girl she was 5 years ago, 10 years ago, 30 years ago.

Wait. Did I miss something in that Top Shelf? Where is it that she’s working for Cassandra?

From her IG, above:  "I'm on the committee to approve products at @violetgrey. I test lots of products but rarely approve. It must meet a strict criteria of effectiveness, easy to use, and solve a problem."

After perusing the Violet Grey site, seems like many of the problems Carole now solves are #richwhitegirlproblems

Seems like her deam job.  Lying around testing $795 face serums and feeling superior.

    Gotta hand it to WriterTesterGirl.

ETA:  I see @walnutqueen already answered.

It's the Reunion Part III clip at the topic this page.

Thanks, Anna. Carole doesn't know how to make it nice. Now that we know her true feelings for Tinsley, it's easy to see where during the season she's thrown her under the bus.  Pushing the Easily Pliable One to show Dorinda the text from Luann inviting Scott. Transparency, yo! More like bullshit, yo!

Carole is giving beauty secrets?  Yeah, o.k.  LMAO.  And on a committee no less.  Somebody must have owed her a big favor.

So she's working for Cassandra Grey, now. ?

I knew it. Mark my words, production deal coming in 3...2...1.

    Get it, girl.

Haha .. more like gardenlift. The kids were told to go into neighbors gardens and steal fruits and vegetables.  Maybe other things also .. I don’t remember.  I’m surprised she put that in the book.  They could have gone to the food pantry, as that was legal.  I just think Carole wanted everyone to know how close she was or thought she was, with Carolyn Kennedy, and hung out with John, Jr.  That’s water under the bridge, and she’s still talking about it.  Seems like she’s going more on knowing Carolyn and John, jr. than marrying the Prince.

    Thanks, G.

In my head, Carole and her 65 cousins and Grandma spent the summers in a house that looked like the house Carrie visited Aiden at on Sex in the City. 'Suffering in Suffern'.  Anybody remember that? Grandma DiFalco taught them how to gardenlift from the neighbours and shoplift from the corner mom and pop store. And they subsidized themselves, by selling weed. Am I close?

Looks like I'm going to the library today.

II agree with you 100%.  The book wasn’t what I thought it would be.  She talked a lot about her childhood, and I mean A LOT. Then she detailed her job at ABC when she started at the bottom fetching coffee, papers, etc., and her time in the Middle East as a correspondent.  I was really more interested in her love affair with the Prince, her wedding, who was there, how she was dressed, erc.  She skipped through that part quickly and gave very little information.  I expected a little more love story, but no.  She did go into detail about Carolyn Kennedy a lot, how close they were, where they went, what they did, and her going to the hospital when Anthony was in for treatments.  Quite a bit about the hospitals.   I got the feeling she and Carolyn didn’t have too much to do with the Kennedys, especially Caroline.  Actually, I thought the book should have been named “Carole and Carolyn”.  That’s my opinion.  Everyone sees differently.

Taking this over to Carole's thread. I've got a question
