They didn't so much lock the threads as they created a megathread for all RHONY-related stuff. It was getting annoying having 20 slightly different variations of Bethenny vs. Carole clogging up the feed.

Not to mention the vitrol, bile, and circular arguing in the comments.

I'll be glad when the season is all said and done. I think I need a break from RHONY for a bit. Tempers are a bit too high right now.

This is why I'm glad I never visited the Real Housewives threads at Reddit. (The only thread I like over there anymore is Just Engaged. Call me a sap, but I love looking at sparkly engagement rings and hearing happy stories.) The mods here are good at shutting down vitriol against our boardmates when they rarely happen. I remember when I would feel bad after reading Yolonda's thread here. I realized I was feeling bad only because I didn't share in the vitriol directed at HER. It was rarely directed at me. When it was, I'd report it and the mods would remove the posts if warranted. But I just stopped going to the thread when I realized that everyone is entitled to their opinion about whatever housewife and as long as it wasn't directed at me or a board mate, it was fair game. It was my choice to feel upset if others didn't like Yo-yo.

Like you, I'll be happy when this season is over. Although, with all the extra curricular activity in the press and social media regarding these particular Housewives, I don't think it's quite over yet

My mother knows that I come by my affinity for swearing naturally, so while I refrain from the colorful in her presence, should the occasional f-bomb escape, she just looks the other way and whistles her way out of the room.

You're lucky. My mother will still pinch the back our arms if any of her 50+ year-old children uttered an expletive in her presence. Just like she did when we were young and one of us called the other a stupid head or ordered someone to shut up. That was the extent of her tolerance for trash mouth.

I called another driver a "dumb ass" once when my mom was in the car with me. She exercised great control and didn't pinch me until the car was safely stopped. I was 38-years-old. LOL. Bless her heart.

Nothing cleanses the soul like a solid, heartfelt, mo#%!er f*cker.  It's the hard k that brings it home.

My emphasis is usually on the 'f'.

Although the last time I broke my toe, I believe the emphasis was on the entire word 'mother'.  As in 'MOTHER f*cker'.

Speaking of mothers, I somehow feel I owe an apology to mine for this conversation. LOL

I'm looking forward to seeing Carole clap back at Andy. It's about time someone had the guts to do this. He is the worst moderator ever. Last year, he and Bethenny were co-moderators. This year, people weren't going to let that happen.

Not even Andy.  It's too early to tell, but just from the first part it seems as if Andy told Bethenny to just remain seated, zen and smile serenely while he does all the talking in her defense.

Not to say that he doesn't go after her in the following installments, just like we see that Bethenny doesn't remain seated OR zen as she jumps out of her seat and goes after Carole. That, I'm also looking forward to. Wonder what that's about?

  5. I hope she doesn't come back.  And not because I thought she was hard to watch but, for me, she redeemed herself by how she got herself into good condition, physically and mentally after she left. She seems to spend her time on quality projects and her family looks to be tighter than ever.

Since leaving the show, I hope she's done less angry mo#%!er f*cking and has found her happy place.

I will try to get a cronut, though I have a secret fear it's what we in Canada call a cruller, which is available day and night at every Tim Hortons across Canada. (I did see it on the Jim Gaffigan show -- it came individually wrapped in its own box! So fancy!)

For six bucks it should be!

I listened to the podcast from the beginning.   Anything about Bethenny supplying pills to Dennis or getting scripts for him is pure speculation on this guy's part, and he admits that. He prefaces the entire thing with an, "I think.."  he concludes with an "if".

If Bethenny was a pharma mule for Dennis, then, mention it ALL. And let the custody cards fall where they may. Poor Bryn.

If this is pure speculation, I hope Beth's attorneys ruin him.

Now we know what "other things" Carole is busy with.

    She's really busy creating identities.

Isn't Carole responsible for why Bravo doesn't allow comments on their blogs anymore? Wasn't she arguing with negative commentators using a name not her own?

After seeing her shitnanigans on Twitter yesterday and knowing that she changes her enemy's Wiki pages in her spare time, it sounds like something she would do.

Agree, and if Bethenny doesn't return, I would not be surprised to see Heather return as well.

I don't think Heather will ever come back. As loud and foul-mouthed as I found her to be, there's no denying that she's smart and I think her family and sanity means far too much for her to rejoin the circus. I respect her for that.

And wow, Patti Stanger, look at you! She's lost a lot of weight.

I wasn't sure where to post this but the bottom line is, I wonder what the turning point was for people who were Beth fans to just being done with her.

I wasn't ever a fan but I knew there was no going back for me after Scary Island.

Kelly was clearly having a breakdown of some sort at dinner. After she was gone, Bethenny started jumping up and down and laughing and high-fiving the other women screaming that she was right - that Kelly was crazy.  Told them that she'd always known that something was wrong with her. It was just cruel. Beyond.

That said, I can have compassion for what Beth's going through now, I just don't like her and can't imagine I ever will.

I hope someone will ask the same question about Carole someday  My answer will be: again, never a fan but today was the day that Carole lost me completely and forever. I'm surprised she was able to keep her hatefulness so under wraps until after she was off the show. Her cruelty by retweeting and commenting about Bethenny, so soon after her loss is beyond the pale.

I've never disliked a hw more, from start to finish, than Dorinda. But she lost me, believe it or not, because of her facial expressions during the Clip! Clip! scene. Her face just screamed, Psycho. My tolerance is low, I know.  LOL.

Well, she did retweet them with accompanying shady remarks.  So she co-signed them.  I hardly believe anything on line anymore.

Yep, she co-signed them.  What a little ball o' hate that one is. She's positively seething and it's eating her from the inside out - it shows all over her face.

I don't know why I'm surprised. She's being more un-cool than I ever imagined she could be.  And the bar was set pretty low to begin with.

That really is gross that she's going after her while BF is mourning/dealing with a very sad turn of events. So unnecessary.

ETA - curiosity got the best of me and I looked her up on Twitter... Glad to see people responding appropriately. She really needs to get a hobby. ;)

Whoa.  I just looked, too. She's getting nailed. Her fans' blinders are finally coming off.

To be fair, I believe this is a photo accompanying Carole's first journalism piece post RHoNY, for Esquire ("Ho Fo a Day").

Originally meant to be an in-depth investigation into sex trafficking, Carole put her own spin on the piece by choosing to stand, half naked, in a window in the Red Light district alongside one of her best girls (Christiane Amanpour) just to see what "ha'pens".  Fighting off the ravages of humidity and camel toe -- and in between random screams of "Get off my jock!" -- what happened was......precisely nothing: she was ignored. Amanpour, however. was offered a Kingdom for the pleasure of two private minutes listening to her speak in her authoritative but oddly soothing voice (that unique sound of hers, somewhere between a Werther's tucked in the back of her mouth and Downton diction). Amanpour (or "Missy Chrissy", as the john was told to call her) parlayed that two minutes into a six month hardcore investigation that blew up the Dark Net, once and forever.

Carole sold her lingerie on Posh.

You had me fooled until the "ravages of humidity and cameltoe" part. LOL. It's early, I need my coffee.

it may have been hard to hear with the three stooges screeching, that she and Jill had texted back and forth since the funeral, which with their relationship is huge.

This. If it's true that she and Jill are texting, then Bethenny didn't just go to the funeral and Shiva for publicity and then cut ties. Sometimes, even my life and those of my close friends gets so busy that the only way we can communicate with each other is via text. And I'm not nearly as busy as Bethenny or Jill.  So if texting each other a couple times a month is their way of rekindling their friendship, I get it.

I wonder if Jill contacted Bethenny after Dennis died.

caroleradziwill: I was going through old photos and came upon this beautiful soul. Best friend. Best smile. Best girl. 1966-1999 #cbk ✨?✨

Carole is implying that this is from her personal photo album. It is actually one of the pictures Bruce Weber took for an article on Caroline Bessette for Vanity Fair.

Now technically, if Carole cut out the picture from Vanity Fair, and put in her her "scrapbook" I guess she's not lying when she said she chuckleheadswas looking at old photos

Carole is the Supreme "Single White Female"

One picture, Carole.  Just one and I promise that I will never question the deepest friendship in the history of friendships, ever again.

In the clip, above, from "Ghost Hunter" or "Ghost Watcher" or "Ghost Writer", whatever, she said she and Carolyn had matching gold, friendship rings.  She and Heather also have matching gold friendship rings!  She has a lot of best friends. But only 10 fingers. See the dilemma?
