This is kind of a funny aside, but when Heather & Terry were finishing dinner after the kids were gone I couldn't help but notice that they left the best part of the artichoke (the heart) untouched at the table. Here you go, to get to the heart first turn the choke over and cut off the stem as close to bottom as you can then turn back over and remove any remaining leaves with a claw like hand grab.Next scoop out the thistles with a spoon, cut remaking heart into about four pieces and enjoy.
