  1. After a successful career as a Major League Baseball pitcher, Canada’s new Bachelor, Chris Leroux, is ready to step up to the plate and settle down with a family of his own. The 33-year-old is at a crossroads, having recently retired from pro baseball, and is looking for someone to share his life with who is genuine, honest and loves to laugh.

Born in Montreal, Quebec, Chris moved to Mississauga, Ontario with his parents and brother when he was three-years-old. He grew up with strong family values and an ingrained passion for sports. Chris’ dad introduced him to baseball when he was young, and with his family’s encouragement and support, he set his sights on the big leagues. With a lot of hard work and perseverance, Chris fulfilled his dream, playing for the New York Yankees, Florida Marlins and Pittsburgh Pirates throughout his incredible career.

Chris’ success is matched by his kindness, loyalty, stunning good looks and sense of humour, and after travelling and living everywhere from Tokyo to Los Angeles for baseball, Chris (along with his dog Cash) is now ready to put down roots in Toronto.

A laidback guy with diverse interests that range from surfing to vintage cars to playing the piano, Chris is always ready to try something new.  He is looking for someone with an adventurous spirit to share those passions with as he enters this next chapter of his life.

Canadians will fall in love with this endearing, humble, jokester as he looks for his soul mate on this season of The Bachelor Canada, coming this fall.

  2. Dateline sure left out a lot.  I was curious what the younger son's sentence was.

I kept wondering what Colin's fiancé's parents thought.  Did they agree with their daughter standing by a guy who was on trial for murder?

I believe Tucci was in on the murder.  Maybe he just had a better lawyer.  He seemed to lie about everything.  He said Laura always wore heels.  But she wasn't wearing heels in either of the videos of her in the store.  I guess she didn't wear heels when shopping for her murder kit.

I thought it was amusing that the younger son was wearing PJ pants for his hike in the woods.  Is that really what you wear to walk in the woods?  Also when your mom asks you to dispose of garbage do you usually go deep in the forest and throw it in the water?  Why not deposit it in a dumpster?  So many things with their stories that made no sense.

  3. I just shake my head at how often they ignore the kid.  I know the daughter is annoying.  But the adults seem to forget where she is all the time.  I thought they were trying to save her life.  But most of the time they turn away from her to have a silly conversation.  Of course the child was going to call her Daddy.  We all saw that coming.

  4. This is a train wreck and I can't get out of the way.  The show has so many errors.  It does not make sense most of the time.  They hot wire a car.  Later she starts the car with a key.  Where did this key come from?  The mistakes are what makes me keep laughing.

  5. Christen was really impressed with Tickle Monster being a doctor.  She brought up the fact he was a doctor several times.  I bet she would not have bothered to leave Jack Stone's side if Tickle Monster was an accountant.

Please send Corrine far away from the Bachelor Nation.  I never want to see or hear about her again.

  6. I have watched the first 4 episodes of season 19.  They definitely did better recasting Sykes' replacement than Nelson's.  The new pup Paddy is adorable.  But I don't care for Winter.  I am trying to warm up to him but it isn't working.

I enjoyed seeing Ben back in episode 3.  That probably made it even more obvious to me that Winter isn't fitting in.  I am sure some fans enjoy the new guy.  I have warmed up to all the replacements during the years.  But this time it is a no go for me.  I don't care that much for Cam either.

  7. The paint expert needed a chair that didn't swivel.  He was moving back and forth and it was distracting.  He also had a very wrinkled suit.

I wish they had done a better job of explaining the timeline.  They had me mixed up on that.

  8. I always prefer the Jessica episodes.  I can think of a couple where she just introduced them that I will still watch.  They are: Class Act with Barry Newman.  I believe they hoped this might be a spin-off.  The other is Murder in a Minor Key with Shaun Cassidy.

  9. I didn't know this case so it was nice to hear a new one.  I suspected the husband Dave was guilty.  I thought the background with the sheet of plywood below the plant looked odd.  They did try to trick us with the orange pants but normal shirt.

I was freaked by all the bad moustaches in this episode.  Dave's was annoying but there were other men with the same creepy 'stache.  I guess it is the style in that area.

We were laughing every time they showed that same photo of JR.  I kept thinking that surely they could have found one more photo of him without the shades and cigarette.  I was surprised when we actually saw him in court.

I guess I can understand the wife giving Dave the alibi the first time.  She wanted to believe he was outside walking around.  She truly believed he would never kill anyone at that time.  But the second time she had to know.  That was probably the moment she really realized what danger she was in married to him.

  10. I really love this show.  The second season has been delightful.  Too bad the casting of Ben is so off.  I still think of him more as a robot with no real feelings.  He just appears so pale and shiny like he isn't a real person.

Rhys is such fun to watch.  He entertains me.  I can't believe I am enjoying the addition of Tessa.  I have to admit I wouldn't have minded if Sophie died.
