  1. I followed up the pilot with watching the first episode of the series Ransom for a Dead Man (1971).  This one stars Lee Grant.  Another great episode.  I really do enjoy looking at the old mansions they used in the series.  They are so gaudy and tacky looking.  I noticed they used the same tactic as in the pilot.  In that one they had Gene Barry leave the room and the camera showed he left his handkerchief on the phone.  Then we see him return to take the handkerchief with him.  In this one they showed Lee Grant leave the briefcase behind.  The camera stayed on it.  But she returned to grab it.  Of course it never matters since Columbo always catches them anyway.  I did laugh at Columbo with his lost pen outside the door of the mansion.  He has Lee Grant and then others helping him look for the pen.  I love when he does things like this.

  2. I just watched Prescription: Murder (1968 pilot). I have always enjoyed this one with Gene Barry. They use different music at the intro. Falk looks so much younger. I really appreciated the scenes between Falk and Barry in the office. They are describing Columbo very well.

  3. This show was not a good idea for Sheppie.  He has nowhere to hide.  The real Shep îs not attractive.

Priscilla is too mature for Shep.  Kylie was too sweet and innocent. I believe Peyton is closer to the type he normally dates.

I wonder if we see Bella again. Bella became more interesting to Shep by leaving.

  4. Jane thinks back to being terrified that her stepdad(?) tried to drown her.  Then she tells Lake she named her that because she loves water.  Huh?  Why would you love water if one of your bad memories was someone trying to drown you?

I guess they tried to wrap it up for us.  I was one of the few that did stick to the end to watch this.  But it really was a mess of a show.

  5. I was annoyed how they went out of their way to hide who was the killer. I was getting sick of them being so careful to say the shooter instead of Dahl's name when they were acting it out. Did that really add to the show? We already knew he was the bad guy. Also they all referred to him in the past tense.

  6. I have seen this case before.  I was hoping they had new info.  But it was the same stuff I had already seen.  Not sure if I originally saw it on Dateline or 48 Hours.

I thought introducing the fact the wife was having an affair just gave the husband more motive.  Not a smart move by the new lawyers.

I believe the couple just got married too young.  They had been dating for 7 years and they were only 21 and 22 when they got married.  Obviously neither was really ready to settle down with just one person.  Seth didn't want to break up with his wife and lose his father-in-law's influence with his new job.

  7. Roz Weston also played that Mikaela audio clip on ET Canada.  She was doing a lot of backtracking in her interview.  I found it interesting that Lindsay said she has bought a one way ticket to Australia and plans to go in the new year for a new adventure.  Interesting that she can go to Australia and leave her family in BC.  Won't her sisters be upset she is so far away?

Chris says he has to learn to love himself before he can love someone else.  Sounds like he had not seen Mikaela in 4 months when they saw each other on the After Show.

  8. Enough with the Hidden Idols.  We all know that the cameraman follows the person around that goes to hunt for them.  If the player understands to watch the camera person they can find the Idol.  The cameraman always points at where the idol is hidden.  I want to watch the original Survivor.  The over abundance of Hidden Idols has ruined the game.

  9. I just watched the finale.  OK I was spoiled about part of it.  But I loved that Lindsay was the one that turned Chris down.  I don't know if I have ever seen a Bachelor show before where the woman walked up and turned the Bachelor down.  Lindsay got to say Chris was not for her before he could say if she got the rose/ring.  I jumped up and applauded.  I loved it.

Mikaela did not see the show and know what we knew.  But I think she got a clue when Chris actually called her Lindsay while talking about his mom's reaction to the home town visits.  That was a huge No No.  Then Mikaela admitted to watching the show and seeing Chris interacting with Lindsay and saying he loved her.

Lindsay and Mikaela both deserve better than Chris.  I do not think he is ready to settle down with anyone.  I never did think he was anything special.

  10. I feel Chris was planning to pick Lindsay.  Then the hometown visit happened.  It knocked him off his plan.  He had been uncertain enough about the age difference with Lindsay.  Now his family is also mentioning the age difference and the geography problem.  I don't think Chris had a back up plan if it did not work with Lindsay.  He doesn't feel comfortable picking Lindsay anymore.  Mikaela is all obsessed with getting the ring.  I think Chris is scared and confused.  If it was possible for Chris to just stop the process and leave now.  I think he would take it.

I liked Chris' family.  They obviously love their son and want what is best for him.

I enjoy the After Show.  I will miss it.  They all obviously feel Chris wants Lindsay but it isn't going to work.  The chemistry is not there with Chris & Mikaela.  Even Mikaela realizes it.

The Women Tell All is going to be all about Shanti and Brittany.
