Then why put the max age at 30? Why not 22?

I'm old too and I've been loyal to this show since season 2. Keep us old folks happy with one token "oldie". How about it Nigel?

Some people still look young at 30.  I hope they don't lower the age to 22.  We already have too many 18-20 years old going through.  Then you give them a dance where they're supposed to be romantic and they're giggling during practice.

I've been watching since Season 1.  This show has been on so long that we have contestants saying that they've been watching this show since they were little kids and they've always dreamed of being on it.

When I said "why not 22?", I was being facetious. Certainly with age comes maturity for dance so I'm not on board with lowering the maximum age. I was just trying to make a point about Aleksandr being the better choice as a tap specialist contestant than Eddie. Someone up thread said Aleksandr is 30 now so he probably won't get the votes. That makes me sad.

I know you were.  I was just agreeing with you.  I would vote for somebody that's 30 but then again, I'm old.  Don't know if tweens would do the same.
