So, Jessica Lowe, who plays Lindy Lissons, is in a new HBO show, Minx, as Bambi, a porn model who also works at the publisher’s office. The premise is that a publishing house of porno magazines in the 1970s decides to publish a feminist magazine using naked men as the draw.  The show is great, and Jessica is really adept at being the smart dumb blonde bimbo character. And if you watch the show you’ll see that is a compliment.  There’s a lot more layers to it but keeping the focus on a Gemstones cast member in another role. 

Highly recommend Minx!!!

I just had a good laugh... the actor who plays Keef is in a TV commercial for Hanes briefs.   The ad is very surreal - he starts off standing on the back of a camel in a fake desert, in just a pair of blue briefs and a short robe like boxers wear.   He seems to be channeling the Keef character, as he describes the comfort and coolness of his undies.    Look what I found on Youtube

There's a new Xmas movie being advertised called "Violent Night".   From the commercial it looks like Santa comes to kick ass and take names on some creeps.  In looking at the cast list, I see that Edi Patterson (Judy Gemstone) has a part in it.

Just saw Danny McBride in a commercial for Downy Unstopable Scent Beads.  Apparently, this debuted during the Super Bowl, but I just caught it on TV today.   Get those dollars, Danny.

Just found this series and was binge watching. Until someone in the episode forums mentioned how Cassidy Freeman/Amber was rocking a dress, I was sure that Elizabeth Banks was playing Amber! 😆
