Technically, the last word should only have two letters, but I used the colloquial three.  Sorry for the confusion.

Oops, missed an N.  And a couple of Ts.

Edited by Demented Daisy

Okay, the "aww" is out, so ... One word left - and the last few letters sadly didn't help for some reason.. oh wait I might have it.... (I'm thinking that this is from "The Curious Case of Dean Winchester" which is why it's taking me so long...)

Ah, screw it... I'm gonna go for it... here goes... (Guessing on the people, too, so they could be wrong)..

Maid: Ready for housekeeping, sir?

(Older) Dean: Born ready.

Maid: You're just like my grandfather. He hits on anything that moves, too. You're adorable.

(Older) Dean: And dangerous.

Maid: Aww.

Sorry for the delay. Dinner intervened, and I wanted to find a nice in theme quote. Unfortunately many of my favorite adorable moments are more visual, so the quotes don't necessarily translate. I sort of found one - the episode is suspect, but I love this whole scene. Sadly it was too long, so here's the first - and most relevant - part.

Hint: this does come from a dreaded episode, and one of the words is intentionally baby-talk.

Huh.  Still don't remember it, but I'll solve -- is it okay if I don't know who said what?  Sorry if I'm wrong.

Dean:  Well, buddy, I got to say, man... you, uh... you don't suck.

Garth:  Thank you.  That's the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me.  Well...

Dean:  Oh.  Yeah.  All right, that's....  Thank you.  Take care.  Wow.

Sam:  Aww, you made a fwiend.

  • Love 1

That's it! And good job, since you got the players right also. Also there was hugging involved here to up the "aww" factor... And since you don't recall it, and I'm annoying that way, here's the rest of the scene after the above, just because I like it so much...

Sam: Look, man... when I was all dosed up, I... I said some crap.

Dean: Oh, you mean she wasn't your soulmate?

Sam: Shut up. I mean, I do need you watching my back. Obviously.

Dean: Yeah, when, uh, crazy groupies attack.

Sam: You know what I mean.

Dean: You know, I got to say, man... for a whack-job, you really pulled it together.

Sam: (smirking) That's the nicest thing anyone's said to me. (He gets more serious) Look don't be too impressed, man. It's still a Denver scramble up here. I just know my way around the plate now.

Dean: I'm just saying. It's stupid to think that you need me around all the time. You're a grown up.

Sam: Right.

Dean: You're a hike-in-the-desert, hippie-douche grown up.

Sam: Dude, I was camping. You camp.

Dean: Yeah, whatever. Hippie. (Imagine typical Dean way of saying this half under his breath here.)

They get in the car.

Sam: You know what though? Seriously? It might be nice.

Dean: What?

Sam: I mean, you basically have been looking out for me your whole life. Now you finally get to take care of yourself. About time, huh?

Dean: Yeah.

Though both Sam and Dean sort of know this isn't likely to happen, so it's sort of a bittersweet hope on their faces. They drive away.

I just found it so old-school Sam and Dean. I really miss this type of stuff lately.

Sorry for the sharing indulgence. Even though the episode is bad, if you own the DVDs, I suggest checking that last scene out every once in a while. It's a great one in my opinion, and representative of why I have such a fondness for that season.

Okay shut up me, stop obsessing... (yeah good luck there) ... You're up!

Heh. On the big puzzles, I go straight for the C. This one wasn't quite big enough, so I threw the H first. Sometimes that let's me feel out a C potential. Not quite convinced yet here on a bouncy C's helpfulness, so I'll go with what I think will net me at least a pair, then shift to one of my other indicator and perennial favorite letters, so...

A lollygagging L?

Ooh, interesting. Not where I thought the Ls would be at all, so instead of a kicky K (Bouncy Cs sometimes other special friend) I'll go with a...

yellow-bellied Y (sucker) *

* Trivia note - I learned from my job, "Yellow bellied sap sucker" is an actual critter. It leaves signs which look like insect damage and so that shows up regularly in my line of work as "what insect did this?" Not always easy to convince some people that, nope, a yellow bellied sap sucker did it (I'm sure it sounds like I'm being a smart-ass).
