Suing for $500 balance. D. says he took in three suits but only wanted one altered as a test, and instead p. altered all three suits and ruined them. P. brought all three suits to court. D. claims he brought in three suits to get a deal, and claims he can't get the pants on. D. tries on the suits and models them for Judge M, and they look great in my opinion. D. says pants are too tapered, the jacket is too short and shows his tiny crotch. His jacket he wore to court is almost as short, and shows his miniscule crotch too. I hate that bright blue suit, the color glows in the dark. There's maybe an inch in the length of the jackets. D. doesn't have the actual suit receipts from the manufacturer. $1670 to defendant. How can Judge M give d. that amount of money for suits that he has no receipts for? Case 2-A Phoney Baloney-P. suing d. for cell pnone plan p. paid for, d. was caught dating his ex-wife, so she shut the phone off. P. suing for $1310. D. is suing p. for $399 for who knows what. P. is suing for the user charges by d., and a leased iPhone for his daughter, who had to return the iPhone at the end of the lease. D. wants his phone number from her account back, not happening. She also paid for some items to help d. start his lawn service. P. only turned the two phones off for d. and his daughter when they didn't pay the bills, and they were warned. P. gets $780, and property back. D. case dismissed. Case 3-Bilking a Biker-P./Harley owner suing d./mechanic for $5,000 back for repairs on the bike. P. says everytime the bike needed work it cost more. D. just explained why everything wore out on the bike, and I understood nothing of it. Other Harley dealerships did the same repairs the d.'s shop recommended. P. loses. p. 146, no discussion, at least I don't think there was. CrazyInAlabama May 13 Share May 13 (edited) 13 May--“My Neighbors Spy on Me” 11/ 28/2019, Season 23 / Episode 54 Cases-Nosy Neighbors - Holding On To Security - Not Caring Enough Case 1-Nosy Neighbors-P. says neighbors spy on him, and call him a terrorist, and wants $5,000 for wall repairs. D's say wall is cracked because of age, say they don't care about neighbor, and he harassess them. P. claims d.s have harassed him from the first day he moved in. He says he was jogging, and Diana chases him with her dog, with dog on a leash, but admits dog never touched him. Another day p. says husband chased him with the dog too. Decision is made to build a joint cinder block wall on the property line, and p. is suing for damages to the wall from D. husband taking the mortar between the blocks so he could spy on plaintiff. THe picture shows missing mortar, and cracked cinder blocks, repointing the mortar would fix the fence. My sympathies are with the defendants, because p. sounds like a paranoid PITA. D. husband says the wall settled since 2014, so the cracks happened. THe next year d.s received a lawyer's letter threatening to sue them because p. is blaming everything on the contractor d. hired to build the wall. Judge M tells d's to watch Youtube videos to see how to repoint the wall, and do it themselves. Why would white supremacists move to Little Manila like the p. says of the defendants? Plaintiff case dismissed because it's ridiculous. Case 2-Holding Onto Security-P. suing d. /landlord for return of her $3,000 security deposit. D. says plaintiff and her kids destroyed the apartment, and he's suing for damages above the $3,000 security deposits. $2354. As always, Judge M demands the landlord prove he could enter the apartment. She's suing for one month rent back $1500, and $1500 security. After moveout she left furniture on the porch, and some furniture inside the rental after she moved out. Landlord says his property manager/sister received a text saying 'we moved out from p.' Landlord will now get slammed by the judge, but since the show pays the award, landlord won't lose a penny. There are huge stickers on the fridge that won't come off without removing the paint from the doors. (My guess, d. will have to give the rent back, and maybe the security). Plaintiff husband apparently has no knowledge of anything. P. wife knows nothing about the horribly stained rugs. The carpets look like garbage. P. wife's video is awful marks on the wall. Apparently they played pinata with the hanging porch light, and trashed the one in the back yard. P. gets $750 rent back, plus $474, $1,224 to despicable plaintiffs. Case 3-Not Caring Enough-P. suing d. for her Husky getting a large hole in her paw while at d.s doggy daycare. $4,000 for vet bills. D. says dog had a small cut, not a big hole. Plaintiff says the hole took seven stitches to close, and the entire leg is bandaged. Because p. signed the waiver in the contract, no vet bills. Defendant wins. Suing for $2142. P. paid $1142 for the training, and d. promised to train the dog in his home, including lifetime support. DOg was only there for a one week stay at d.'s house. P. claims d. put a shock collar on her dog, and claims d. wanted her to drive him around, and she claims he reeked of alcohol. D. is suing for $2500, for defamation. D. has a suspended license, for speeding, six unpaid tickets, and he had an injured leg too. He says p. refused to come to his home for training the owner to work with the dog. P. claims d. was drunk, talked about having a sex act just performed on him, and other bizarre claims. We all had to suffer through Judge M saying she never used a shock collar on her dog, how her dog loves her more than anyone else, but then says shock collars are a useful training tool, unless you're Judge M's dog. P. claims she couldn't take her kids to d's house, because of the guns and weed laying around, and d. being drunk, but she left the dog with d. anyway for 4 days. P. also sent "laughting" emoji to answer a FB group message from d. she claims offended her, and it sounds pretty nasty. D. is not getting defamation, no proof of where or what p. posted, and that he lost clients. P. also didn't go to any sessions to learn how to training the dog to keep the learning going correctly. Judge M says p. is impatient. P. has to be consistent with the dog housebreaking and other training. Plaintiff gets $571, and that's all. Case 2-P. is suing d/ex for not returning his belongings, and paying him back on their mutual apartment, suing for $5,000. D. says they split the bills 3 ways when her boyfriend lived with them for a short time. D. is suing for $931 for unpaid rent and utilities. However, d. illegally locked p. out, and Judge M yells at her for bypassing the eviction process for that. D. claims p. moved out without notice, and refused to pay rent or utilities. One day the plaintiff came home from work and all of his clothes and his dresser were out in the apartment hallway, and the locks were changed. Judge M goes through all of the bills, and won't pay after the illegal lockout. Judge M orders that p. can pick up his TV's and other items d. kept. He gets money for renting two U-Hauls. Plaintiff gets $284, and his property back. (Tomorrow restarts Season 23 with episode 1, however lots of shows were preempted for a few weeks then). 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/6835-the-peoples-court-general-discussion/page/245/#findComment-8661512

She let litigants rant and fight with each other, go off on long autobiographical soliloquies, and she spent time trying to counsel them. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/6835-the-peoples-court-general-discussion/page/245/#findComment-8666011

Litigants are divorced, and all custody goes on the app, and they're supposed to split the kid's bills. Defendant says he paid for cosmetic surgery for plaintiff. and she never repaid him for that. D. is suing for $7,000 for an unpaid loan. . Judge in family court told defendant the dance lessons were not his responsibility. Judge M rules no dance lesson $1,000 to p. and d. will not get the plastic surgery money back either. Case 2-Flushing a Guy the Wrong Way-P. suing d. for not fixing one of the four toilets he hired d. to fix. $315.00 is what plaintiff wants back. D. says p. only wanted 3 fixed, and so she only fixed three of them, and not the fourth toilet. P. claims he paid $150 each for 4 toilet repairs, and claims he paid $600. So, why is he suing for $315.00. Plumber who did the job sent his wife to court in his place. Then d. wife got a phone call from p. that was very demeaning and insulting, P. had the toilet fixed for $165 by another plumber. Judge M gives the plaintiff money, because d.'s husband said he would fix the toilet. P. gets $165, and court costs. Case 3-Taking it All-P. suing d. for security deposit back, suing for $2,000. D. landlady says the place was a wreck, only one week's notice before moveout, claims p. broke the stove, and washer. P. claims the top loader washer crud all over the top of the tub and gasket is from laundry detergent, but it definitely isn't. P. was a month-to-month tenant, with a $1950 security deposit. Property is a three-story town home. D. has before and after photos on her phone. There are huge gouges in the stairway wall, blinds are broken, part of stove is missing, the photo of the washing machine is revolting. other big wall gouges too, fridge is trashed, cabinets have a lot of dirt. carpet ripped up, and badly stained. electric outlets were missing or broken. AngelaHunter May 22 Share May 22 9 hours ago, CrazyInAlabama said: “My Family Heirlooms Were Destroyed Ooh! I never saw these. I just loved the plaintiff! She wants 3k... make that 6k.... NO! She wants 10K for all the destruction and horrors she's endured! Her heirloom "antique" dresser from Levitz Discount Furniture Emporium, passed down from her momma at least 20 years ago, is worth 3K, she claims. The P was amusing as she attempted to be so erudite, didn't know how, and it all sounded a bit "off": "I have obtained this dresser since I was 16." "This dresser has sustained, you know, through time and duration, and it has stored my things sufficiently." "I took diligence with this dresser, one - because it was from Levitz..." She believes this is a high-end store. "You can't get a dresser like that anymore," she informs JM, who responds that she's not surprised, since the Levitz store no longer exists. Another reason could be that few people want yellow pine bedroom discount furniture anymore. If they do, they might pay $100 for it. Maybe. IIRC, JM gave her $500, which I thought was generous. Considering the many thousands of dollars she's saved by having Douglas pay her rent (for some strange reason), she should stop complaining, and the landlord should give her the boot. 10 hours ago, CrazyInAlabama said: the usual Hooptie sale with no mechanic inspection before purchase This was so annoying that I bailed before the end. 20-year-old truck for $1500, no test drive, has problems and all that usual crap. He should be exempt from the "As is" law because he and his wife just had their THIRD child, which they can't afford. Congratulations. "Yeah, I heard you the first 20 times," JM tells him as he repeats the 3rd child plea yet again, as though a stranger should be responsible for their decision to keep having kids when he makes very little money. Cue the violins. I have a feeling the Defs haven't heard the last of this. I advise them to get security cameras. Here's a place where the first plaintiff can buy new pine furniture. I can do that!" The plaintiff buys a broken-down house and has zero idea how to rehab it other than with a sledgehammer. She watches YouTube videos so she can pretty up the place superficially with some cosmetic work. Let's just paper over the cracks! Wiring? Plumbing? Don't think so. She can't even read the label on a bag of grout to know enough not to use it in very low temperatures, which happened because the furnace broke down. I saw a couple of YT videos, with inspectors touring these houses flipped by people who don't know or don't care what they're doing. Some of them are downright terrifying near-deathtraps. I've done a few jobs around here with the help of YouTube: Changed ceiling fixtures, tiled a backsplash, did demo in a bathroom, changed faucets, etc., but I would never EVER think that qualifies me to renovate an old house. Oh, well. Good luck to her. I hope no one sues her. Oh, and JM? You think it's fun to smash shit up with a sledgehammer? I did it, and it's not nearly as enjoyable as you might think. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/6835-the-peoples-court-general-discussion/page/245/#findComment-8669854

Cases-I Want My Stuff - Cutting Off An Aunt - Pay Up or Else Case 1-Plaintiff suing Defendant ex of 10 years, and is suing for her property she abandoned $4,438. Defendant says she moved right in with her new boyfriend that she barely knew, taking the 6 and 8 year-old kids to live with new guy too. P. claims he's being vindictive, he says she's just as bad. She claims he was supposed to put her name on the deed to the rental properties that d. bought and paid the mortgage on. She was supposed to pay rent to him. P. claims he kept everything. She has teens from prior relationships. D. claims when p. left for the new guy she left the two teens, and small kids with him and her brother behind with him. The new guy is d.'s former roommate, and she's rather pregnant with the new guy. The lovebirds moved into a rental property owned by d., leaving her four kids behind. They go down the boring list of property left behind, but she has a lot of property back already. She wants $3500 for closing costs for the house in his name, tough it was a gift, and there is written proof of the gift. D. wanted a $17k line of credit on the other house to pay off bills, each got $6,000, plus mutual bills for $5,000. She's suing for remaining tools she left behind, and Judge M will arrange for her to pick up her property with a police standby. Judge M says everyone gets their own property back. Closing costs were a gift, and not being considered. Nothing to anyone.P. claims d. is still evicting her and love muffin. Case 2-Cutting off an Aunt-P. suing d. nephew for money she loaned him to get his barber license after he got out of prison. D. says he repaid her for the first loan, but she didn't say the second money was a loan. (Nephew is 25 but was in prison for 10 years, yes since he was 15. I can only guess what for, hope he turned his life around) He's now a licensed commercial plumber with a union job, is paying his student loans, but not his aunt. Aunt gets her $4,283 from the loan. Case 3-Messing with a Musician.-P. suing d. for hitting his car. P. suing for $5,000. P. says d. ran into his car. D. claims p. ran a stop sign, and he hit her car. D. suing for $500 for deductible. P. was driving on Christmas Day, says he stopped at the stop sign, stopped fully, saw no cars coming, and says d.'s 17-year-old daughter hit him broadside and totaled his car. There was a van parked in the way blocking the view of d.'s car coming. D. hit his car in the back, but she had right of way. Couldn't d. see him? He was almost across the street, and she hit the back passenger side of his car's rear end. I still think d. should have seen the p.'s car. D. had no stop sign or signal. D's daughter says she saw him at the stop sign, but he blew through the stop sign. P. claims d. was speeding. His car was totaled out. However, d's daughter only had a permit, not a full license. D. claims p didn't have insurance either. P. case dismissed because it was his fault. He went even though his view was blocked by a parked van. D. gets $500 for her deductible. Judge M says Geico, d's insurance company, will probably sue p. for the damages they had to pay on d.s car damages. She's suing her former boyfriend and father of two of her offspring for a charger and some other crap. She had no problem living with Def, who wouldn't marry her, buying property, etc, and putting everything in his name until she again found True Love. Brilliant. I'm assuming she can't have anything in her name. She needs to find a part of her anatomy other than her reproductive organs that works properly. She leaves the kids with Def, telling him she'll visit them, I guess, between bedroom wallowing with her latest paramour. She even dumps her brother, who I'm assuming is not a child, on Def, who, for some reason, tolerates this. The very last thing anyone involved in this case needs to be doing is breeding! Poor kids. CrazyInAlabama May 28 Share May 28 (edited) 28 May-"I Was Carjacked by Your Son” 9/20/2019, Season 23/Episode 10. Cases-Get Outta My Car - Refusing A Fee - Letting The Cat Out Of The Bag. p. 138, Not posted (Maybe preempted when it first aired? Some also seem to be renamed too). (Case 1 is certainly interesting, and a big change for the show). Case 1-Get Outta My Car-P. suing ds for their son carjacking her vehicle. P. is suing for $5,000. P. was at a gas station when defendants' son stole the car, but their son was an innocent passenger, his friend was the carjacker. P. was also hit by the car when it was jacked. She was going to the convenience store at the gas station, got out of her car, and two teens ran up and grabbed her arm threw her to the ground, and then the carjacker hit her with the car. Judge M says p. should have stayed away, because the cat isn't worth dying for. She went up on the hood, fell to the ground. Police found her car three days later, after car was chased by police, and teens fled, and when the police caught them the male teen threw the car keys to p.'s car away. Defendants say son was never in trouble before. He was charged with theft/jacking, and possession, and eluding, but plea bargained it down. Mom Nathan (D.) claims he didn't know the car was stolen, which is a lie. P. identified the son from a six person photo array, as one of the robbers. Son was sentenced to three years in a detention center, and two more years probation. P. says car was damaged, and had to be towed. The way they do it isn't the usual six pack, there were six separate folders, and she identified two as the robbers. Mama Nathan is a liar. Nathan claims her son just looks similar to the robber. Under the felony rules, being a participant is being guilty of the robbery too. There was another incident as Mama Nathan says, which is what she calls another stolen car. Wisconsin has a statute that parents are legally and financially responsible for damage from crimes committed by their minor children. Mama Nathan claims victims of her felon son received restitution, and p. got $1800 restitution. P. receives $3,726, minus $1800, $1926. for her car, and pain and suffering, minus restitution. She couldn't prove her back treatments were from the carjacking. Case 2-Refusing a Fee-P. Suing d. for finder's fee helping d. locate a house to buy, she wants $1,600. D. says p. claimed she was a licensed broker, but wasn't licensed so is not entitled to a commission. She isn't licensed in Connecticut, but d. is, and was looking for cash buys for other clients. D. presents ads from p. stating she's a licensed broker in CT, but she's not. She's only licensed in NY. D. claims p. was not licensed in NY at the time of the house transaction, and there was no reciprocity between the two states on licensing. D. shows proof that her license was revoked by NY before the transaction, but she was never licensed in CT, and couldn't get a commission. D. says it was a referral fee, because she was licensed, but she wasn't licensed at all. CT law says no commission or referral fee to a person without a legal real estate license. It would put d.'s license in jeopardy if he paid p. anything. P. case dismissed. Case 3-Letting the Cat Out of the Bag-P. suing d. for letting his cats out during installation, and one cat almost died. He's suing for. $1733 for vet bills. D. says he told p. to lock the cats up safely and he did on the first day, but day two p. let the cats run free in the house, and p. said they'd be fine. So, d. says p.'s cat getting out the window isn't his fault. Judge M points out the installers had one job, to install carpeting in the final bedroom. P. had one job, to keep his cats locked up safely. P. case dismissed, because p. is full of cat poopie. If he's such a good boy, never in trouble, and just an innocent bystander in this violent crime, and didn't understand what was happening, how did the cops have his photo? I'm pretty sure the cops around don't have my photo in a book. Maybe I missed something in this case. I read about two elderly people, one of them just last week, being dragged to their deaths by carjackers. Maybe time for seriously harsh penalties for this. Yeah, I know. Not going to happen. I don't understand this crime. It's always the same - jack a car, maybe/maybe not injure or kill the driver, then crash the car within minutes and get caught right away like the fools they are. The point of this is what? Double-digit idjits, I guess. The plaintiff attempts to pursue the chiropractor claim, after consulting a lawyer, I assume. It's not JM's first rodeo with that, so it's a no-go. 2 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/6835-the-peoples-court-general-discussion/page/245/#findComment-8673624

Then how the mother tried to hide that there was a second stolen car confirms her son is a career criminal. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/6835-the-peoples-court-general-discussion/page/245/#findComment-8673653

She'll still be in denial when he's arrested for murder and will blame someone else. 1 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/6835-the-peoples-court-general-discussion/page/245/#findComment-8673740

Brother, who seems to be particularly slow-thinking, has no idea how much his insurance was, never test-drove the bike he had to have, and has at least one DUI, but still managed to find a woman who was so smitten with him that she wanted him to climb aboard and make a baby. It took three tries for him to be able to answer JM's simple question as to whether he'd ridden the bike before buying it. I hope the poor child didn't inherit his intellect. Sister rips off dim-witted brother, and Mama - who can't keep her big mouth shut - loves him dearly, but agrees he's an asshole. Lovely family. 12 hours ago, CrazyInAlabama said: Case 2-Yes, eyeglass case, wanted Gucci frames for nothing Silly little scammer, whose pain and suffering over not getting the designer frames she wanted was worth over $4,000.
